  • 10 THE CEILING FAN WIND TURBINE CLASS PART 10 (TAP AND WELD) IN THIS VIDEO WE SHOW THE DAP, AND TAPPING OF THE COUPLER FROM THE FRAME TO THE ALTERNATOR. AND WE SHOW THE TACK WELDS AND ONE WELD ON CAMERA. THE DRILL BIT CALLED FOR ON THE PACKAGE IS A 1/2 INCH DRILL BIT. I ANEELED THE COUPLER TO KEEP THE BIT FROM GRABBING THE THREADS, AND DRILLED IT OFF CAMERA TO SAVE TIME AND TO GET THE CLASS UP TO SPEED ON DEVELOPEMENT. I ALSO SHOW THE TAPPING PROCESS ON CAMERA FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER USED A TAP. THE TAP IS A 14mm 1.5 THREAD PITCH PLUG TAP THAT I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR FOR 2 MONTHS. FINALLY I GOT ONE AT NAPA. THEY HAD TO ORDER IT, BUT IT WAS THERE THE NEXT MORNING, AND ONLY COST ME 7 DOLLARS USD. I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TRIM TREES, BUT THE DAY WAS FILLED WITH INTERUPTION ALL DAY. I WAS PLANNING ON THE VIDEO AT THE END OF THE DAY.... I GOT ONE WISH DONE TODAY ANYWAY, AND WITH SOME HELP FROM KENNY AND FROM JIMMY (THE HELPER) GARZA. LOL. THE END OF THE VIDEO I THREW IN A FEW BLOOPERS FOR FUN. THANKS FOR WATCHING. WE MAY NEED THIS PRETTY QUICK IN THE NEAR FUTURE. NEXT.. CONNECTING THE ALTERNATOR, AND A SPOT WELD WITHOUT BURNING THE WIRES INSIDE. COOL TRICK... AND THEN WE NEED TO DO A ONE VIDEO ON PROP CARVING, BALLANCING, AND HOPEFULLY MOUNTING IT IN THE SAME VIDEO. CHOOSING THE RIGHT WOOD GRAIN NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED AS WELL. SOUNDS LIKE 2 VIDEOS TO ME. I NEED TO FINISH THIS SERIES UP SEEING AS THE MOWING WEASON TOOK A LOT OF MY TIME AWAY FROM THE VIDEOS.
