St. Louis Storm - Interesting Radar Form - 06-26-2011 - 12:23AM (ET) USE the 720p HIGH DEFINITION VERSION to see beams on radar. They don't show up as well on the 480p and lower versions. I found this pattern interesting at the top of the storm. When I first saw it, it was very vivid and looked just like a lobster which has segments on it's back. By the time I got the video together it was losing it vividness - a sweeping beam from a nearby radar station went through it a couple of times and wiped it off the map. On the other hand, clouds going through the middle of the St. Louis beams that are always on looked to become more excited (severe). This is a very short video.
