"Crossdraw Vest LBE Option" by Nutnfancy, Pt 1 PART 1 of 3: A quality made tactical Crossdraw vest is a excellent option to carry a limited weapons loadout and associated gear. I say you should always work backwards in deciding on an appropriate Load Bearing Equipment (LBE) system; just dont buy a tactical nylon vest and try to fill it up. Always think in systems. Realistically evaluate what tactical capabilities you will need in regards to ammo, secondary armaments (handgun, knives, non-lethal options like pepper spray and Asp batons), optics, food, first aid, etc. This equipment might be essential for many defensive scenarios such as the collapse of law and order (Without the Rule of Law or WROL), US military combat operations, and some Law Enforcement scenarios as well.. Tailoring these items to your anticipated engagement scenario will prevent excess weight carried and will improve your mobility and stamina. Dont carry more than you will need. There are indeed lots load bearing systems available now from different makers and many offer excellent versatility, toughness, and cargo capability. If you could be engaged in a knock-down-drag-out, full-on firefight in Afghanistan then there are better loadout systems than a Crossdraw vest. However either a BlackHawk or TacForce brand Crossdraw vest will suit most civilian sheepdogs and even some military or Law Enforcement users. It can be an Overt OR Covert carry system and I classify its capabilities as Medium. Its benefits are numerous: no extra pouches to buy and ...

diy: simple vest 3 this video is sponsored by it's been a while since my last video ^^ and i suddenly had an idea to create a loose vest... which is inspired by the loose black vest i wore at the end of my "diy star cutout leggings 3" vid :) though the outcome is a bit different... :P this diy is almost the same as my "diy: simple vest"... but the results look quite different, and it kind of reminds me of the vest i got from coolcat, which i showed in my "clothing haul: q1 2009" vid... :P the scarf i used in this vid, is the same kind of scarf that i've used in my "diy: simple halterdress" vid, it's just in another color ^^ a lot of references to other video's lol... but i recommend the diy videos if you haven't checked out those yet ^^ hope you like this diy, thanks for watching!! please rate and feel free to comment and subscribe! ;) and check out my blog ^^ i am randomly updating it :) much love, ljenmf

5.11 Tac Vest: "Load Bearing Simplicity" by Nutnfancy If you're looking for a tactical loadout system that will impress your airsoft buddies then the 5.11 VTAC LBE TACTICAL VEST is not it. It looks plain. But to the knowledgeable user, it is a wise platform which will adapt in high speed fashion to your loadout requirements. Some dudes want the SEAL, SAS, Delta Force, and "maxxed-out" load out pletely ignoring or not understanding their REAL mission requirements. My LBE loadouts are always pure functional and mission tailored. Carrying any more bulk and weight then absolutely necessary is idiocy and guys will who do this quickly learn this (if they carry REAL ammo, weapon, knife, med kit, armor, water, etc loadouts...resulting in a 30+ pound loadout). The 5.11 VTAC Tactical Vest dispenses with "extraneous engineering" to give you a slim, lighweight, and functional MOLLE pouch foundation. For around $80 (less if you get a deal, price/models subject to discontinuance and change of course), you get an outstanding MOLLE platform in black, coyote brown, or olive drab colorations. The positives are many: light, high quality nylon webbing and clips, stiff and tough nylon mesh gives outstanding ventilation, precise MOLLE specification adherence, heavy duty YKK zipper (which does not unzip itself like other designs), hydration/armor panel pocket (back side only), hidden drag handle, interior pockets, and easy-enough adjustment. Another huge bonus: an uncluttered shoulder area that enables a clean and fast buttstock ...

Redwolf Labs 07 - Combat Vest Destruction Test - Pantac - Part II In this episode of Redwolf Labs, we aim to test the strength and durability of the well-reputed Pantac vest against a cheaper Chinese-made vest. The Pantac vest we used is a Force Recon Vest: The cheapo Chinese vest we used was one of the typical cheap ones that have flooded the market. We put the two vests through their paces in a series of tests, to see how much abuse the vest can take before it is well and truly destroyed. The Pantac uses 1000D Cordura Nylon, Mil-spec standard stitching, ITW/UTX clips and YKK zippers. The cheaper China vest obviously uses non-branded parts and the Nylon is not to 1000 denier standard. Bronchiectasis-Chronic Lung Disease-The Vest Therapy Herb has Bronchiectasis. This condition is a chronic lung disease that causes him to get lung infections quite often. The Vest, by Hill Rom vibrates his lungs and breaks the mucus loose so that it can't sit in there and grow into infection. He puts the vest on, and when he turns it on, the compressor fills the vest with air and vibrates him. He does this 20 minutes, twice a day.

Spec-Ops Over-Armor vest: "Zip-On LBE" by Nutnfancy The Spec-Ops Over-Armor Vest (OAV) comes in some outstanding colorations including the excellent Multicam that I have been testing in TNP. As such, this OAV can fulfill lots of different mission/scenario requirements and preserve much of your camouflage efforts. Of course this Multicam version is my favorite. Designed to go over IBA, the OAV is lightweight and offers an expansive platform for your loadout requirements. The Spec-Ops MOLLE webbing is top quality and adheres to the spec ( they call it "Grid Lock" system). Several other high points to the system: very lightweight, a clean adjustment system leaves no straps hanging, uncluttered weapon shoulders (very important), outstanding and tough #10 YKK zipper with sturdy cord zipper pull, velcro patch attachment areas, and tough 1000 denier Cordura that's poly coated. In my running and gunning with the OAV I found the vest comfortable, durable, and having excellent camo characteristics in the high desert areas of the western US. I would like to see a few improvements in a few areas to make it even better: high quality mesh pockets on shoulder areas that could hold ventilated plastic platforms for stable side-draw pistol mounting ala Blackhawk Serpa (as is it flops around, Nutnfancy mod shown to correct it), back mesh pocket for hydration and body armor options (that will also balance the load out a lot and provide some ventilation), and perhaps back slide-in pockets that also could accept stiffening boards or armor ...
