Yemen Veil I deleted the original video about Lawless Yemen, and replaced it with the one you are watching here, in protest at a pathetic oppressive French stunt to ban veils. However, for the purpose of your amusement I retain below the original video description... I made this short video mainly of interest to foreigners and tourists in Yemen, and to salute the Ministry of Interior for doing a great job collecting bribes from everyone for everything in Yemen. I really enjoyed making it, especially the Somali national anthem which I had to research and learn about. I thought the anthem was a good catchy choice and appropriate because I didn't like the Yemeni anthem and flag. The black, white and red stripes on the Yemeni flag could belong to a dozen other countries around the world. And because some pratt from Sanaa wrote to me and couldn't work out the logic of the Somali national anthem on a Yemen video, I will spell out that it means that Yemen is failing like Somalia which has been deemed the most corrupt place on Earth, there are so many similarities. This was a video about Sanaa International Airport, but it is very difficult to make a video and not get distracted unless you are a film director. If you are an adventurous tourist and take a random lift on the back of a Toyota Hilux pick-up with another random 20 famished qat farmers armed with machine guns, make sure you learn the polite words "low samaht", because you will need it when you realize the smelly farter squashed ...

Veil ban 'worrying trend' in Europe Belgian lawmakers are set to vote on a proposed ban on wearing face-covering veils in public, an issue that is dividing opinions and forming policies across Europe. Khola Hasan, a representative of the City Circle, a think tank that promotes the development of a distinct British Muslim identity, said the ban is part of a worrying trend in Europe. She told Al Jazeera that European Muslims are being criminalised for issues that are not criminal. "The European convention on human rights guarantees freedom of religious expression," she said.
