New york city suburbs traffic jam This is driving from the bear mountain circle and over the bridge at 630 pm on a friday evening in november of 2007. We are 45 miles north of midtown manhattan(new york city). The traffic we are passing is route 6-202. It was backed up for NO REASON from the bear mountain circle to the annsville circle outside of peekskill. Bumper to bumper stop&go the whole way. No breakdowns, no accidents, just underbuilt infrastructure. When they rebuild the tappan zee bridge(which is 20 miles south and it is the next river crossing south of here) maybe they should look into a way to cross the river between verplanck and stony point. Lots of these cars are bound for the palisades parkway southbound and 9w southbound. Why are ther no river crossings for 20 miles?

Im driving #40 witch is a 77 New Yorker W/68000 mile car this is the 3rd demo and 4th heat this car has ran in. i was under built being a Medina fair car with "no welding" done. to a semi outlaw demo...Then on top of it having a built Box car in my heat didnt make it any better if i wanted to run the second demo later in the day, witch i was planing on it if i messed up or got lucky..... so my whole plan for the heat was not to let the imp. have any kinda line on me.. so if you see my head spinning, im looking for the big black Imp.

Playa Rosa UCLA cityLAB's contribution to "Workshopping", the American Pavilion at the 2010 Architecture Biennale in Venice, Italy, is conceived around illustrating, by means of four pilot projects, the LAB's basic operating system: the "incubation" process in which our thinktank initially identifies a problem, harvests a series of strategies to address it, then chooses one to develop and test/implement on a real site. Each of the projects, concisely presented in model, diagrams and perspectives (or digital projection), is shown as an outcome of this three-step gestation process. The exhibit explains how, in the last stage of work, we identify funding sources, and assemble a group of select collaborators centered around the architectural team, who provide needed expertise in other fields relevant to the project-at-hand, as well as implementing entities (clients: elected officials, developers, etc.) and policy makers. The fourth pilot, Playa Rosa, grew out of cityLAB's WPA 2.0 competition and symposium, which explored the potential that the government's recent infrastructure initiative offers for the revitalization of cities, and the role architecture might play therein. Demolition Derby Plain Montana Heats 1 & 2 2009 The Sanders County Fair in Plains Montana Demolition derby labor day 2009. This year the lions club pretty much any thing go. They had to many over built cars and could not disqualify all of them so they let every one run. One guy with a under built car did get hurt this year. he had no cross bar and his drivers door bar was too short and he got nailed in the drivers door. I have been going or driving in this derby for 20 years and this year was the first time I ever seen a guy taken out on a stretcher! NOT COOL!!!
Hobbyzone Phantom "Built To Last" by This is a Hobbyzone Firebird Phantom modified by . It's upgraded with a thicker tail-boom to alleviate the problematic weakpoint where the control rods come out of the boom. The original tail-boom had a tendency to snap in half there due to hard landings and/or crashes. If you search their webpage, it's under "Built To Last" Hobbyzone Phantom. I did have some issues when I first got the plane, but with the wonderful customer service provided by "Robert", I was able to finally get this bird up in the air with tremendous results. The plane had ample power to get up in the air and flew level, barring the dipping due to the Center Of Gravity being thrown off by the camcorder I strapped on for this flight. Adjustments will be made for the next one. Looking forward to logging in many hours on this particular model for many years to come. I am still learning to fly, and this will certainly help me do that. Thanks again, Robert! And Happy Flying!!!!!
