Serious Sam: The First Encounter - Ugh-Zan III Final Boss Battle & Credits Level: The Great Pyramid (Final Part) Boss: Ugh Zan III - The Vicious Warlock Secrets: N/A Difficulty: Normal Here we are. The big ugly. The final battle. Whatever you want to call it. Sam engages in the most epic boss fight of his life as he aims to destroy Ugh-Zan III in order to beam aboard the spaceship and continue his quest toward Sirius. At the start, I go left to start with but then I end up backtracking as the great hoof of Ughzy might have ended up turning me into a Sam pancake. That's a sight I don't want to see or think about. In order to activate the beam from the spaceship, you need to go to each corner and let the jump pad shoot you toward a energy ring which charges up the beam on the ship. Once all four lights on the side of the pyramid are glowing, you then need to make sure Ughzy is right underneath the beam for it to deal the most damage. You will not be able to defeat him without the beam as once his health goes red, he will start to regenerate endlessly. At the end, Sam leaves a message on Mental's answering machine telling him/it that he is on his way to Sirius. To Be Continued... ---------------------------------------- Credits follow after the cutscene has finished and my final highscore is shown at the end. Thus ends my Serious Sam: The First Encounter playthrough. I'm off for a long nap. Thanks for watching.

Serious Sam FE - Ugh Zan III Battle Part 1 The first part of the final battle in Serious Sam: First Encounter. Easily one of the most incredible parts of any FPS to date. Getting chased by this colossus while enemies try to push you back really gets the blood pumping. All you have to do is race to the pyramid before he stomps you, and lower his energy until the pyramid opens. Not that easy considering so much crap is coming at you even when you make it there. After that you can fight him for one last time on the rooftop (See part 2). Serious Sam is seriously one of my favourite games.

Serious Sam FE - Ugh Zan III Battle Part 2 The second part of the final battle in Serious Sam: First Encounter. This is the final fight with Ugh Zan III. Not the hardest fight but still a pretty cool one. Note that the ending is not shown on this video. Ugh Zan suddenly climbs ontop of the pyramid to stop you from getting onto the UFO and escaping, so you have no choice but to take care of him. If you reduce his health enough he will simply regenerate it, making it impossible to kill him like a regular boss. Instead you have to activate the four "rings" to fire the teleporter beam at him which does heavy damage and stuns him, giving you enough time to finish him off. The battle is kinda easy actually. The only problems I have when fighting him is those damn homing fireballs and those lava things he shoots at you. His lasers, rockets and lightning are easy as heck to dodge, but those fireballs are a pain. I can also be really tricky to lure him into the middle of the arena because he's so damn huge. Luckily when recording this I did it first time. Yipee! Serious Sam is seriously one of my favourite games.
