  • SGM Feeding Time & Udders, Day 140! Goats typically kid between days 145-155 and the official due date is usually listed as day 150. I have 4 due soon so they're just hitting day 140 today. That's when I really begin watching closely and clip udders etc. This video shows our typical feeding routine. I've already put the grain and pellet out and they're all happily eating. After the trough is taken back up, I put hay out and then do water buckets. The does in the stall are let back out with the main herd for the day. They are only coming up in the stall right now to eat separate since the grain is increased the last month very gradually. Its also changed slowly from just pellet and alfalfa to our own mix for nursing and milking does. Videos will be taken once the babies begin arriving. I'll try to catch a birth or two too if I remember. Thanks for watching.
