Guitar Tremolo Flutter Guide The accompanying pdf guide (free) at HSL gives MUCH more detailed instruction on how to set up your tremolo and trem bar to achieve the flutter technique. High resolution pictures are included. You don't want to miss it! Have you ever wanted to get the flutter technique out of your floyd rose tremolo? Look no further! In this video and pdf guide, I'm going to show you how to set up your tremolo bar to achieve the flutter technique. Even if you aren't looking to use it, this guide will help you get your trem bar much more stiff, and get it to stay up when necessary. The flutter technique is when you flip the tip of your trem bar, and the springs in the back of the guitar vibrate rapidly. This creates a 'phoodbluhbldoobluh' sound, which can be quite nice when used sparingly, and for effects. In the video, I show you how to set up a push in bar, and a screw in bar. The push in bar is on an Ibanez Jem77b BRMR Bad Horsie guitar (mirror finish), and the tremolo is an Edge Pro. The other screw in bar is on a standard Floyd Rose copy (might be a Gotoh) on some cheap Jackon Kelly or K-10 guitar. Whether you have a screw in bar or a push in bar, this guide will help you set up your trem for the flutter technique, and stiffen it to have precise pressure so it'll stay up when you need it. The nail polish method, and the teflon tape method (plumber's tape method) are both discussed here Have fun!

Catalinbread Semaphore Stereo Tap Tremolo Catalinbread Semaphore Stereo Tap Tremolo You asked for it, and here it is. Over the years we at Catalinbread have listened to customer comments on our original Semaphore, and have combined everything into the ultimate tremolo pedal, the Stereo Semaphore Tap Tremolo. This pedal combines a fantastic audio path, with a diverse tremolo that has a bottomless feature set including 8 different waveforms, tap tempo and divide, stereo outputs, and expression pedal capabilities. It's footprint is ideally suited for the stage, no more missing footswitches or nudging knobs when engaging, and the Stereo Semaphore suits both foot tappers and knob twiddlers in its control. At the heart of the Stereo Semaphore is a lush audio path that incorporates optically controlled JFET gain stages to sculpt a gorgeous clean boost sound, that is present and alive without being peaky or harsh. We've quadrupled the number of waveforms, everything is in there from classic square, triangle, and sine waves to ramping sounds, and a mind-bending random shape. And in conjunction with the Shape contour, which morphs the waveshape, numerous waveforms are waiting to be unlocked. The Stereo Semaphore sounds fantastic whether you are running it mono or stereo, and the Tap Tempo section is engaging and easy to use. We've even included a control voltage input and output, to slave or master the tap tempo on future Catalinbread pedals with Tap Tempo functions. CONTROLS Rate The rate control, controls the speed of ...

Seymour Duncan Shape Shifter Tap Tremolo -The Seymour Duncan Shape Shifter Tremolo pedal is an all ***og, dual mode tremolo pedal. The SFX-07 Rate mode allows a steady speed from 1 to 20 cycles per second to be manually adjusted by the rate knob. In Ratio mode, the tap switch sets the rate of the tremolo and also gives you the option of setting a tap-to-note ratio: 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, or 4:1. With this function the Shape Shifter Tremolo lets you decide on 1/4 notes, 1/8 notes, triplets, or 1/16 notes. Another distinctive feature of the Shape Shifter Tap Tremolo is the Shape control. Normally a tremolo has an even relationship between the time that the volume increases and decreases. With the Shape knob at 12 o'clock, this characteristic is maintained, however when you move it left or right, the relationship changes. The SFX-07 will deliver a short volume increase followed by a longer volume decrease or vice-versa which will add a very different feel to the overall effect. The Seymour Duncan Shape Shifter is a very natural sounding Tremolo. The all ***og signal path keeps your tone pristine and gets a very vintage vibe from the Shape Shifter. With the Wave control, the SFX-07 can deliver smooth creamy tremolo or choppy square wave style chop. When a short volume increase is coupled with a long volume decrease via the Shape control, the tone gets very percussive and piano-like. We found the Tap control extremely useful in a live situation where the drummer is your metronome and quick changes are ...

Empress Effects Tremolo - Empress Tap Tremolo The Empress Tap Tremolo is an original design built from the ground up to include innovative features without sacrificing tone. The audio signal path is ***og, but the tremolo effect is controlled digitally via opto technology. Empress Tap Tremolo Features: * Pristine Sound - The Empress Tremolo has to be heard to be believed. It's whisper quiet and free from the "LFO throb" usually associated with tremolos. We dare anyone to find a better sounding tremolo. * Waveform Selection - You can modulate your sound with three different waveforms. An asymmetrical tremolo was modelled after a '65 Fender Vibrolux (brown face) to give you the fullest tremolo sound possible. A square wave can be utilized if you're after a harder sound. And if you're looking for a more normal tremolo, you can use the triangle wave setting. * Tap Tempo - The Empress Trem averages your last four taps so it plays in sync with your music. You can also choose different tap to tremolo rate ratios. 1:1, 1:2, and 1:4 are available. * Two Speed Mode - An exclusive feature to the Empress Trem. You're able to set two different rates, and switch between them using the tap tempo stompswitch. This is similar to playing through a Leslie cabinet and changing the speed. * Rhythms - Another exclusive feature. The Empress Trem will definiately do your run-of-the-mill tremolo sound to a tee. But you can also set it to play different rhythms. Check out the soundclips for examples ...
