A glimpse into Operation Tree Hopper Flown by the 148th VFW, Operation Tree Hopper took place on November 20th, 2009. The mission was a deep-strike consisting of two 3-ship strike flights, one with F-18Es the other with F-16Cs. This short clip shows the descent of both flights to nap of the earth and the split for two different ingress routes. One of the F-16s missed the break and made a delayed turn to rejoin. Captured by Fraps and edited in Sony Vegas, this is a TacView rendering of an Open Falcon 4.7 ACMI recording.
