  • CCNA - VLAN (Theoretical) - Telugu Tutorial made easy A Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) is a network topology configured according to a logical scheme rather than the physical layout. VLANs can be used to combine any collection of LAN segments into an autonomous user group that appears as a single LAN. VLANs also logically segment the network into different broadcast domains so that packets are forwarded only between ports within the VLAN. Typically, a VLAN corresponds to a particular subnet, although not necessarily. VLANs can enhance performance by conserving bandwidth, and improve security by limiting traffic to specific domains. His research ranges over a number of topics in theoretical physics, focusing on cosmology, particle physics, and general relativity, with special emphasis on dark matter, dark energy, and the origin of the universe. He is the author of "From Eternity to Here," a popular book on cosmology and the arrow of time, and of "Spacetime and Geometry," a textbook on general relativity; has produced a set of introductory lectures for The Teaching Company entitled "Dark Matter and Dark Energy: The Dark Side of the Universe;" and is a co-founder of the popular science blog Cosmic Variance, About TEDx, x = independently organized event: In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. "Radiation is continuing to leak out of the reactors, the situation is not stable at all," says Dr. Michio Kaku, professor of theoretical physics at the City University Of New York and the City College of New York, in an interview on Democracy Now! April 13. "The slightest disturbance could set off a full scale melt down at three nuclear power stations—far beyond what we saw at Chernobyl." • Experimental Probability - - Math Help For a complete lesson on experimental probability, go to - 1000+ online math lessons featuring a personal math teacher inside every lesson! In this lesson, students learn that probability can be found by conducting an experiment. For example, given a number cube that has the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 on its faces, students are asked to toss the number cube 6 times and use the results to determine the probability of rolling a given number, such as 4. Note that the theoretical probability of rolling a 4 is 1 (1 favorable outcome) / (6 possible outcomes), but the experimental probability may be different from 1/6. For example, if a student tosses the number cube 6 times and fails to toss a 4, the experimental probability will be 0/6, or 0. Students learn that experimental probability approaches theoretical probability as the number of trials increases. For example, if a student tosses the number cube 100 times, the experimental probability of rolling a 4 will approach 1/6.

  • PLAY: A VYGOTSKIAN APPROACH ( DAVIDSON FILMS ) This film offers both theoretical and practical perspectives on dramatic play. Using enchanting sequences of young children playing house, doctors office, rescue squadron, and trick or treating, the theoretical positions of Lev Vygotsky and other prominent theorists have taken in systematically studying play are illustrated. This film carefully reviews the traditional ways of studying play: the Freudian-Eriksonian emphasis on its emotional content, the Piagetian view of its importance in symbolic representation and the social psychological approach of looking at how play contributes to socialization. Lev Vygotskys unique contribution of seeing play as an arena in which a child can begin to master her own behavior is carefully detailed. The video ends with practical suggestions for fostering high level play in early childhood settings. With Deborah Leong, Ph.D. and Elena Bodrova, Ph.D. This is a short clip form the film. The purpose of this video is to make a coherent movie out of the Replay Viewer in the game - a great feature with a nice range of views, but unfortunately it's not intelligent and it switches views at the worst times. So... I captured several passes from the replay viewer fixed on a different view each time, and then spliced them together to get the best shot for each moment. Apart from the slow-motion segments, everything is in real time, in other words I didn't add or remove any moments from the mission when I spliced the views together.
