Theoretical improved iPhone notification system This is a mockup of my current side project of designing an improved iPhone notification system. Unlike other attempts at improving the iphone's notification system, my approach is to use design direction from the current iPhone UI to create a seamless interface for the user. This is purely theoretical. There is no code behind this; I've mocked this all up in Flash and Photoshop. In this lesson, students learn that probability can be found by conducting an experiment. For example, given a number cube that has the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 on its faces, students are asked to toss the number cube 6 times and use the results to determine the probability of rolling a given number, such as 4. Note that the theoretical probability of rolling a 4 is 1 (1 favorable outcome) / (6 possible outcomes), but the experimental probability may be different from 1/6. For example, if a student tosses the number cube 6 times and fails to toss a 4, the experimental probability will be 0/6, or 0. Students learn that experimental probability approaches theoretical probability as the number of trials increases. Heavy Command Cruiser (Ace Combat 6) Mission 9 from Ace Combat 6, flying the Su-33 armed with unguided rocket pods. This is more of a sci-fi mission, which makes me feel a bit better about the unrealistic number of sidewinder missiles I can carry (and 15-G turns etc... I know this is not a realistic flight sim so no arguments over realism please). The purpose of this video is to make a coherent movie out of the Replay Viewer in the game - a great feature with a nice range of views, but unfortunately it's not intelligent and it switches views at the worst times. So... I captured several passes from the replay viewer fixed on a different view each time, and then spliced them together to get the best shot for each moment. Apart from the slow-motion segments, everything is in real time, in other words I didn't add or remove any moments from the mission when I spliced the views together.
