The Tale of the Sun and the Moon "The Tale of the Sun and the Moon" is a lullaby about why the sun is up during the day and the moon is out at night. It's somewhat of a platonic love song about two best friends who can't really be together as much as they would like. The song is from the CD, Snail's Pace, by Eric Herman (also available on his The Kid in the Mirror album), and was adapted from a poem by Kenn Nesbitt. The illustrations in the video were made by Lauren Wilson and the video was conceived and directed by Eric and Roseann Endres. This video is featured in the Warner Bros. film, Life as We Know It. The Sun - Maroon 5 Maroon 5's song 'The Sun' from their debut album Songs About Jane. LYRICS TO SING ALONG TO: After school Walking home Fresh dirt under my fingernails And I can smell hot asphalt Cars screech to a halt to let me pass And I cannot remember What life was like through photographs Trying to recreate images life gives us from our past And sometimes it's a sad song But I cannot forget Refuse to regret So glad I met you Take my breath away Make everyday Worth all of the pain that I have Gone through And mama I've been cryin' Cause things ain't how they used to be She said the battles almost won And we're only several miles from the sun Moving on down my street I see people I won't ever meet Think of her, take a breath Feel the beat in the rhythm of my steps And sometimes it's a sad song But I cannot forget Refuse to regret So glad I met you Take my breath away Make everyday Worth all of the pain that I have Gone through And mama I've been cryin' Cause things ain't how they used to be She said the battles almost won And we're only several miles from the sun The rhythm of her conversation The perfection of her creation The *** she slipped into my coffee The way she felt when she first saw me Hate to love and love to hate her Like a broken record player Back and forth and here and gone And on and on and on and on But I cannot forget Refuse to regret So glad I met you Take my breath away Make everyday Worth all of the pain that I have Gone through And mama I've been cryin' Cause ...

Stare Into The Sun Revealing the world of a strange small man, who spends his days away from the world. While divulging in strange pleasures he is suddenly thrown into a fantastical journey. Written & Directed by Ian Stevenson & Luke Seomore. Music by Graffiti 6 Illustrator Ian Stevenson. Animator Alex Dobbin. Find out more here http OK let's get things straight shall we... there is a quote below from the band who made the music in the 'Stare In The Sun' video. Everything was going so well... "The video for 'Stare Into the Sun' isn't done by us. It was done by Ian Stevenson, who saw the track and said 'Do you mind if I do something for it?' We had nothing to do with the video except for that. That's basically an Ian Stevenson video. We weren't creative in it. It was just something he decided to do. We've never actually made a video for 'Stare Into the Sun.." - Jamie Scott, Graffiti 6, Online Interview, July 2010 Although some of this is true, some is not. Yes it is right that they didn't have anything to do with the creation of the video. But I did not approach them and ask if I could use their track. I was approached by Polydor to which the band were previously signed and asked to create a short animation to be released under my name and not to include Jamie Scott's face. Right that feels much better, please enjoy the animation.

Seasons In The Sun - Terry Jacks 1974 Seasons in the Sun" was a worldwide hit song for Terry Jacks in 1974. It was first released in the United States and Canada early in the year, and rose to number one in America by March 2. An earlier recording appeared on The Kingston Trio's 1963 album, Time to Think. The song had also been done by English band The Fortunes in 1968, and by Pearls Before Swine in 1970/71. The song was based on "Le Moribond" ("The Dying Man"), written by Jacques Brel in 1961. Brel's song was translated into English by poet Rod McKuen and this version was first recorded by Bob Shane of the Kingston Trio, but it did not sell. The Beach Boys also recorded the song but it was never released. Terry Jacks, who had participated in the Beach Boys recording, and who had in fact introduced the song to the group, rewrote part of the lyrics to "lighten them up." Jacks' revisions tended to add a bit of ambiguity as to the nature of the storyteller's demise, allowing listeners the option to choose whether the death is from suicide over a failed life - quite possibly to escape drug addiction - or someone accepting death from natural causes, or cancer. References to a cheating wife were also removed.

Jimi Hendrix - Third Stone from the Sun Third Stone From the Sun is a song written and originally recorded by Jimi Hendrix and released as "3rd Stone From The Sun" on the 1967 Are You Experienced album by Jimi Hendrix Experience. It is mostly an instrumental, but includes pieces of spoken word, performed by Hendrix, over the music. Because the song mixes the styles of rock and jazz, it is often cited as one of the earliest examples of fusion. The title 3rd Stone From the Sun is a direct reference to Earth, which is the third planet away from the Sun in the Solar System. The song features slowed-down voices and dialogues between Hendrix and his manager Chas Chandler. They wanted to reproduce the spacy sounds from Star Trek. The word Stone in the title was a way to depict the Earth from an alien point of view. This song, along with "Purple Haze," was frequently covered live by Jaco Pastorius. Part of the guitar chorus melody has been quoted on other records, amongst them The Amboy Dukes ("Baby, Please Don't Go"), Cozy Powell ("Dance With The Devil"), Weather Report ("Slang"), The Allman Brothers ("Mountain Jam"), DEVO (a cover of Hendrix's "Are You Experienced"), and Right Said Fred ("I'm Too ***y"). The song also inspired the title of the TV show 3rd Rock from the Sun. Guitarist Joe Satriani's 2002 album and music publishing company are both named "Strange Beautiful Music" which is a lyric from Third Stone From The Sun.

Attack of the Sun Massive solar eruptions could threaten our high-tech society. The year was 2003... with Halloween approaching... 93 million miles away... an angry sun began to vent its rage. Dark regions, called sunspots, appeared unexpectedly on its surface... a sign of rising tension within. It had been three and a half years since the sun last erupted in fury... ...at the peak of an 11-year cycle of solar flare-ups. Back then, we got ready for it... by shutting down satellites that were vulnerable to high levels of radiation. But no one expected this. In what should have been a low point in solar activity, the sun erupted in a series of massive explosions, called coronal mass ejections, or CMEs. Electrified gas clouds weighing billions of tons raced outward. Solar telescopes recorded the action... The largest emission of solar x-rays ever seen. The hottest flares, at tens of millions of degrees... And the fastest... reaching speeds clocked at six million miles per hour. The sun became a giant plasma weapon... more potent than any in science fiction... and pointed right at our home planet. On Earth... the Halloween storms produced some of the most spectacular auroras ever seen at the north and south poles. They also brought jolts of electricity that caused power outages in Sweden, and disrupted airline navigation. In space, these storms damaged 28 communications satellites, and destroyed two. And they didn't stop there. As the energetic surge swept past Mars, it was so strong it burned ...

I cry 10 mens tears as it disappears With the passionate atmosphere Took your glove as a souvenir Left the other on the pillow as I stroked your ear Took one last sniff of your hair, stared for a second Then the doorway beckoned Im a lover not a fighter So I didnt fight the fact that I more than liked ya Didnt matter we were under influence Made sense this was more than lust I dont owe you, you dont owe me One night only, if only I could take you back and just show you off But I guess if I did that, the magic is lost Pre chorus: Believe me I wanna stay But Im off and away Chorus: Hey, Good Morning Watch The Sun Come Up Its calling I want another day with you Verse 2: You and that red dress - What a pairing I kept staring, couldnt have said less Cant let my head rest, thinking about ya, Really wanna look into your catwoman eyes Turn back time, cos it flies by You know, them Marty McFly vibes See, I can picture the bright lights Sights and night skies and ...
