The Truth About Silicones and Sulfates in Hair Products In tthis video I state the facts about silicones and sulfate.

Suave Clarifying Shampoo Review When I used this shampoo, it left my hair extremely dry...it pushed the build up in my hair to the surface & it made it white..yes white! My hair looked a mess, looked like I had lil fuzz in my hair (& it was NOT a good look).. This product has two Sulfates -Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate & Ammonium Laureth Sulfate. These two sulfates can also be found in dish washing liquid & body washes. ..Please try to use shampoos with one sulfate & do remember to condition your hair or do a hot oil treatment if the shampoo that you have has 2 or more sulfates. Hope this was helpful ^_^ (can't believe that is how I sound..next time I will use my 'phone' voice) :-)

Shampoos and Sulfates I'm discussing Shampoos and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate along with other sulfates and other products that we use on a daily basis that contain the same type of chemical.

Using shampoo w/no lauryl&laureth sulfates I'm using Jason's Shampoo Tea Tree trying to stay away from lauryl and sulfates. It clearly says it has none of this ingredients but it does have lauryl glucoside and sodium sulfate. What's the difference? Update: I have been informed from the Curly Nikki forum that Jasons is okay and it does not include what it says.

Mineral Oil, Petrolatum and Sulfates...Oh My?? My take on the use of mineral oil, petrolatum and sulfate-based products (for MY hair) : ) **Interesting article on how "How to Maintain A Skin Barrier": **Remember, petrolatum and mineral oil are BY-PRODUCTS of the distillation of crude oil. They are not the same compounds that are used to say for example, heat your house with or run your cars (regular petroleum oil). -Fractional distillation is used to separate the different petroleum based compounds based on the boiling point of the liquids that are in the mixture - "How Oil Refining Works": **Excellent article on Mineral Oil from PLEASE *RATE* *COMMENT* & *SUBSCRIBE* - Thanks! ~Mae~ Twitter: Blog: Facebook Fan Page

Geo-Engineering: Killing Off The Useless Eaters - The Alex Jones Show 1/2 Geo-Engineering: Killing Off The Useless Eaters Paul Joseph Watson September 17, 2010 Global warming loons are at it again -- despite the science behind man-made climate change being completely discredited by the Climategate fiasco and with increasing numbers of Americans skeptical about AGW, mad scientists at the Carnegie Institution are using taxpayer money to lay the groundwork for injecting the atmosphere with dangerous compounds which are known to cause debilitating health problems and could lead to massive droughts and famines. Alarmists are once again trying to play God in a bid to solve an imaginary climate crisis based around their own fraudulent belief system, fully aware of the fact that the consequences of their actions will likely kill off millions in the third world, people who they see as nothing more than "useless eaters". Based around the madcap method of "injecting aerosols of sulfate into the stratosphere" to produce "a global sunshade," researchers at the Carnegie Institution's Department of Global Ecology have been running advanced trials on how to distribute artificially added sulfates to the atmosphere in the name of cooling the planet. "The Carnegie scientists ran five simulations using a global climate model with different sulfate aerosol concentrations depending on latitude. They then used the results from these simulations in an optimization model to determine what distribution of sulfates would come closest to achieving specified ...

Possible MSL Traverse in Gale Crater Gale Crater is one of the candidate landing sites for MSL. This video shows a notional traverse that MSL could take. One of the challenges of the Gale field area is an abundance of several meter high benches that would be difficult for the rover to get over. This traverse might avoid them, at least up to an area with both sulfates and clay minerals. 15 sec: old fan surface with different layers and some eolian dunes 20 sec: dark eolian dunes 25 sec: Ryan Anderson's "mound skirting unit" with ancient dune forms on the surface 30 sec: Contact between the mound skirting unit and lower mound strata 35 sec: Irregular weathering of probably sulfate-bearing strata 50 sec: Stratigraphic interval containing both sulfate and clay minerals, with some layering visible. Skin Care: Queen Helene Oatmeal N Honey Facial Scrub and Shea Moisture's Organic African Black Soap Queen Helene Oatmeal N Honey Gentle Facial Scrub $3.99 (Can be found at CVS and Walgreens) This was a great facial scrub. Made my face smell like cookie dough lol Its gentle enough for the most sensitive skin. The beads or oats in it give you the feeling like you're having a professional facial done right at home lol But because it has Sodium Laurylr Sulfate in it, I will not be purchasing this or any of Queen Helene products. I have been doing great with my hair and face not using products with Sodium Laurylr Sulfates or SLSs that I am not going to stop now. But if you dont mind or care about the SLS then I would definitely recommend this facial scrub. Its great. Shea Moisture Organic African Black Soap $4.99 bought @ Targets Great Great Great!!!!! This is a definite add to my skin care collection. It leaves my skin clean and refreshed. Works great for breakouts, in getting rid of them very quickly. Great for acne prone skin and troubled skin. No SLS, thank goodness. Have all natural ingredients, especially shea butter. Of course this is not all just African Black soap, becuase it isnt actually black. Great buy! I recommend to to any and everyone looking for a bar of soap that is all natural and organic and clears acne and breakouts away fast.
