Samuel Smith's Stingo melds the fine history of this style with the signature elegance of the brewery. Brewed from British malt and multiple hop varieties, Stingo is fermented in open-topped stone "Yorkshire Squares," with the Samuel Smith ale yeast strain. Stingo Neo Spinner I was powering my single wire pancake coil with the Stingo the other night and I was placing Neo magnets in the center tube to see the effects. One effect with a large 1/2 inch sphere is that the coil holds the magnet at dead center of the coil in the tube. It will lift it off the table and it hovers inside the tube. Secondly while playing with a smaller sphere I noticed it would spin for a moment once in the center of the tube. So I placed it on top a small plastic tube inside the tube the pancake coil is wound on and the magnet spun up and ran like a single magnet Bedini motor. I was amazed by this. Has anyone else had this experience.

Stingo oscillator driving a computer fan I modded a computer fan, removing the dc inverter board, and connected a Stingo to the existing coil connections. I tune the pot until the oscillation frequency is as low as it will go without stopping, and then I give the fan a nudge. The impulses kick the fan back and forth until it builds up enough momentum and starts to spin. When I adjust the pot to make the frequency higher, the current consumed by the motor decreases. If I make the frequency too high, the impulses are too discordant with the speed of the rotation, so it falls out of resonance.
Stingo driving wall wart transformer I broke open a couple of wall warts from old modems and hooked the transformers up to my 4th generation Stingo. It doesn't oscillate at a very high frequency, but the output is very impressive for running off 5 volts.
Stingo Motor First I power a brushed DC motor normally and note the amperage. It starts at 800mA and once it's running draws 760mA. When I load the shaft the amperage goes up to 900mA at peak. Then, I hook up the stingo oscillator circuit and use the impulse current that is generated to power the motor. It starts at 450mA and when loaded the current *decreases* to 430mA. The oscillator comes out of resonance when the shaft is loaded and this makes the coil sing. Finally I tune the stingo so that the maximum resonance is reached. The motor runs faster and the current goes up to 600mA. This is still almost a 200mA savings over direct current. When the shaft is loaded after tuning the draw goes down to 450mA.

Stingo Circuit Hi this is a stingo circuit by Sucahyo. This an efficient circuit and charges batteries quite well. It's Full Bridge rectifier with AC capacitors makes it more good charger. It's toroid should around 1 to 2ohms and diodes preferable 2amps. Thanks
