Socializing Ishta Ishta is a very shy wolf mix rescue. All dogs are different, so this is not a guide to socialization. But, my daughter had the magic Ishta needed. Prior to this video, Ishta would take a treat, but immediately ran away to avoid being touched. We gave her some adjustment time and took the nonchalant approach so she would at least tolerate our presence. Then Caroline got down on her level. This is the method she used. She got on her belly and inched her way up to Ishta who was laying down and began at first with a light touch then petting. On day two, Ishta approached my other daughter, Sara, and let her also pet her.

Disney Effects On Society This video was created for a psychology class project. The main point of this video is not to bash Disney, but merely to highlight the stereotypical gender-roles, the construction of femininity/masculinity, and the portrayal of dominant/single women in its animated feature films.
