  • Snaring Rabbits - How to Set a Rabbit Snare This is a video of my version of setting a rabbit snare...I was inspired to make this video and other videos, from a video I took of my father setting one last season. Check out my videos "Making a Rabbit Snare" and "Snaring Rabbits - Checking Rabbit Snares" The proof is in the pudding. It works! When searching for an area to snare, if there is no snow, rabbit droppings are a great indicator of the presence of rabbits. The droppings are about the same size and shape of the candy "smarties", with a grainy texture. You can also secure your snares to available cover if it is next to the area you selected to set the snare, rather than cutting and tieing to a tree limb. Snare Hieght Off Ground: 3 inches (lower limit)... 8 inches (upperlimit) These ranges should cover most sizes of rabbit...Adjust for your individual situation. I hope you watch and enjoy all my vids. I know I did making, setting, snaring, taping, putting together video clips, and of course eating rabbits lol! If you happen to make some and set them, let me know how you make out. Make sure your string is very strong. I like to use a braided twine that is treated with a non-slip coating to prevent knot slippage. Always be repectful of land owners and get permission...Stay away from residential areas to avoid pets...Post your area to advise other hunters of your snares, and always respect the environment. Never set snares until you know your local laws...You can do this by checking your local DNR...(Department of ...

  • 'Along Came A Spider' o here is is the second of my 'wildlife extravaganza' films (well technically its my first but due some technical difficulties it has only just finished post production). i know there are some major floors to the plot of this story.... firstly the fact that the wasp is already tied up in web before the spider gets there, secondly the fact that when the spider does arrive on the scene the wasp doesent put up much of a fight...and thirdly...yes you've guessed it the fact that the wasp has been dead for over 6 months....terrible i know in actual fact it was me who threw the wasp into the web, the spider was merely getting him out, though it does kindof make for a funny twist at the end. had i had my expert animal snarer chris reece with me, things would have been very different, but as he was otherwise engaged, i had to make the best of the time available on one of the few sunny days so far this year.. //

  • Gaelic Song :The St Kildans Song (Oran na Hiortaich) Minimalist approch this time round just to post this song. There is a video of some film taken some hundred years ago "A large rowing boat approaches the quay on the Island of St Kilda. Men on the quay watch the boat and throw down a line to tie up the boat. Dogs run around while the fishermen unload their fish. Landing on the Bird Rock, a man is seen swinging round a rocky crag on a rope, while below a small rowing boat bobs on the waves. Another man is seen climbing, with some difficulty, from the boat onto the rock face. Two men on rocky cliff path pose beside their snares and a small pile of birds. Fulmar Petrels are shown nesting on the cliff face and in flight wheeling round the rocks. A Fulmar is shown in its nest, a Fulmar chick on the ground. A title indicates that young fulmars are a staple diet of the St Kildans, and a bird 'snarer' is shown descending a cliff in search of the young birds. He is lowered down the cliff by rope and later holds a pole and snare with a bird attached by its wings; he shows it to the camera. A colony of guillemots and herring gulls are shown in the Bay of St. Kilda, both on the rocks and circling in the air." Greenpeace members would no doubt have an apoplectic fit, but that was how they lived! .

This took me awhile but it's right, every other sticking listed so far in the comments is incorrect. It's a 16th note triplet fill that lasts for 4 beats, so there's 24 notes total. • Pravus - Meshuggah - Drum Cover Hello again everyone! Here is a drum cover of the song Pravus by Meshuggah from their album, ObZen. I have seen many covers of this online but I have to point out that most of the double kick in them is wrong. If you listen extremely carefully, you hear that Tomas Haake never hits the snare with the kick and I have demonstrated this in the opening rhythm. I still need to work on all other sections to make this happen but the opening rhythm should be the following: S= snare, R = right foot, L = Left foot SRLR SRSR LRSR LRSR SRSR | LRSR LRSR SRLR SRLR SRSR SRSR || Anyway, I hope you all enjoy. Please leave your feedback and a comment in the section below :)
