Nothing really exciting, just teaming up for quests. It's a nice look at one of the zones, I guess. That big temple across the lava river that looks like a background painting? Age of Conan character select This is my Stygian demonologist Skelder at the character select screen and how he was decked out at the entrance to Tortage. I made the biggest, burliest, homeliest dude I could as an in-joke with a friend, and look at the effeminate clothing! A violet headscarf, a *shawl*, a crocodile skin loincloth and open-toed boots. It's CONAN, shouldn't they be re-enforcing gender stereotypes? LOL Oh, I have a staff now.

Age of Conan quest - Iti's riddle to the creepy giant Oracle dude One of the few high level quests I've run across that has the voice acting. Plus, that oracle is one big creepy gold dude. Oh, Skelder found some scrubby clothes he liked. Went back to his awesome snake outfit at the end of the night, but was wearing these homeless rags for most of the evening.
Age of Conan gameplay - Sunken Treasure Skelder On the Road from Khemi to Khitai, where if you don't care to pay the exorbitant caravan fees, you get quests. Apparently there are multiple, since I actually screwed up the first one - using the ship's ballistae against a Kraken. Anyway, this was kind of cool, although the throbby underwater effects were a bit much. I should have spent more time swimming around, I know.

Age of Conan - gameplay, finding the ladder in the Archeron Ruins So, if you watched the Skelder & Gelder video, you notice we completely missed the ladder that lets you skip out on a bunch of pict fights. Here's me going back later to look for it, finding it, then using it. Plus some lovely views of the rest of the ruins. For those of you new to the game, use the regular walk forward & backward keys to go up and down the ladder. Put your mouse over the ladder and it'll highlight, then right click and the game will position you on it to move up or down. Sometimes it's a little tricky to get started (Hi Dey!) and be careful you don't hop off it and run off the ledge at the top. Holding down the forward key will move you off the lader and start you running, FYI. Boring, but it'll be fun for me 5 years from now. :P

Age of Conan awesome snake hat My demonologist Skelder and his ***in' Snake Hat. On the selection screen wearing his man-whore, crocodile-loincloth outfit, and in solo game wearing a robe that supposedly helps with a quest. For bein' a big, ugly dude I made as a joke, I'm becoming rather fond of him. Oh, yeah, those creepy noises in the 2nd half are my pet demon. Which at L15 is mostly useless. I guess maybe it's dropping buffs occasionally now. I'm not sure I've ever seen one of it's attacks drop an enemy's health bar, but I sure do see the dumb thing attack corpses a lot. recorded with playcraw, cropped & resized with virtualdub, encoded with Xvid.
