Betty's Beef Sirloin Tip Roast with Vegetables and Gravy In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Beef Sirloin Tip Roast with Vegetables and Gravy. The sirloin tip is slow-roasted in the oven and accompanied by browned potatoes, carrots, and onions. It is a great meal for the autumn season. Ingredients: 2 ½-pound sirloin tip roast salt, to taste ground black pepper, to taste, optional (I did not use black pepper.) 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut in half 4 medium carrots, peeled and cut in half 2 onions, peeled and cut in quarters (2) 10.75-oz. cans beef broth 2 tablespoons cornstarch ½ cup water + additional water, as needed for gravy sprig of parsley for garnish Salt the top, bottom, and sides of the sirloin tip roast. (You may also add pepper, if you like.) Choose a roasting pan that your sirloin tip roast will fit into comfortably, without having a lot of extra space. Place a large piece of aluminum foil in the roasting pan and put your salted sirloin tip roast on top of the foil. Bring the foil in loosely and fit it together around the roast. Place the lid on the roasting pan. Place your roast into a 275 degree (F) oven, and allow about 4 hours for it to roast. Check on it after about 3 hours. When it is progressing nicely, you may remove the lid from the roasting pan and open the aluminum foil, so that your roast gets some browning. As your roast finishes off, bring 2 cans of beef broth to a boil on the stove and place your prepared potatoes, carrots, and onions in the boiling broth. Cook vegetables in beef broth ...

Betty's Tangy Garlic Sirloin Steak Bites Recipe In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make her popular Tangy Garlic Sirloin Steak Bites. They are sauted on the stove in olive oil and minced garlic, with freshly ground black pepper. They are the *best*! Even your kids will love these! Ingredients: 1.5 pounds boneless top sirloin steak (You may substitute strip steak or ribeye steak.) meat tenderizer to taste ground black pepper to taste 3 teaspoons bottled minced garlic 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil With kitchen shears, trim the steak of excess fat, gristle, and other unwanted materials. Chop the cleaned steak into about 3/4-inch cubes, and place them in a small to medium bowl. Sprinkle meat tenderizer over the steak to taste. (The meat tenderizer will provide the salt for the steak.) Now, grind some fresh peppercorns over the steak. (Or, you may just sprinkle the steak with regular ground black pepper.) Now, add 3 teaspoons of minced, bottled garlic. Stir the steak mixture around to coat all sides of the steak with the meat tenderizer, pepper, and garlic. Heat 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil in a deep frying pan on the stove. Add the steak mixture, and start stirring immediately. Continue to cook and stir. You will notice that the mixture becomes soupy, because the juices of the meat are being cooked out. Continue to cook and stir, until the mixture is no longer soupy, but there is a little grease in the bottom of the skillet, and all steak pieces are brown and crusty. (This is what produces the ...

Betty's Sirloin Steak and Wild Rice Casserole In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make her Sirloin Steak and Wild Rice Casserole. This is a very large casserole that is packed with flavor! It's great for company, but when I make it just for my family there is very little (if any) left! Ingredients: 1 1/2 pounds uncooked boneless sirloin steak (1-inch thick) (2) 10 3/4-oz. cans condensed cream of mushroom soup 10 3/4-oz. can condensed cream of celery soup (2) 10 3/4-oz. cans beef broth 2 cups milk 3/4 stick (3-oz.) butter, melted (2) 6.2-oz. boxes Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice (fast cooking recipe) large can French fried onions cooking oil spray, if desired Melt 3/4 stick (3-oz.) butter in a very large pot or Dutch oven. Add 2 cups milk, the five cans of soup, and 2 boxes of Uncle Ben's fast cooking long grain and wild rice, including the herb and seasoning packets that come with the rice. Stir well. Now, remove all extra fat and gristle from the sirloin steak and discard it. Cut the uncooked steak into 1-inch cubes and add the sirloin steak cubes to the soup-rice mixture. Next, ladle the steak and soup-rice mixture into a *very* large casserole dish. I use a 10.5 inch by 14.75 inch by 2.25 inch Pyrex dish. If you don't have an oven-proof dish this large, make two casseroles with smaller oven-proof dishes and cook for a shorter time. Spray the baking dish with cooking spray, if desired. This is not necessary, because there is enough fat in the sauce from the butter, but it might make serving a little ...

Cooking Sirloin Roast to taste like Prime Rib - how to This video shows you how to make a sirloin roast taste like and look like prime rib you would order at a restaurant. ___________________________________ How I made this - recipe ; Prep meat by letting it sit at room temp. for 2 hours in package. Remove from package, place in roasting dish. Rub in a light layer of Lawrys seasoning salt. Sprinkle a heavy layer of McCormick 'Montreal Steak' seasoning. Preheat oven to 500 degrees F. Place roasting dish in center of oven (no cover) once it reaches 500 degrees. Cook for approximately 7 minutes per pound. Turn oven OFF, and set timer to 2 hours. Remove from oven, and enjoy. __________________________________ Tips; -If you'd like it more well done, add some time to the cooking time while oven is still on, say 9 minutes per pound instead of 7. -When there is one hour left on the timer, turn oven back on to 300 degrees F for 5 minutes, this will simply make sure the oven is staying warm, as some ovens are not as well insulated as others. Always err on the side of too rare, you can always heat it longer, but can't turn back time. -Refrigerate leftovers right away, and if you want to slice it up, do so while it is cold the next day.
