  • Monty Pythons' "The Piranha Brothers" This is a video recreation of Monty Pythons famous "The Piranha Brothers" sketch. This sketch first aired on 09/15/70. It is on episode #14, which was the first episode of season 2. This video was shot about 15 years ago (circa 1994) in Hi8 format, and since I did not have a real editing suite at the time, was originally edited "Punch and Crunch" style. It is fairly primitive as a result. I have re-edited as possible, but the discerning viewer will note what looks like a sloppy edit. Sorry, this is because the some of the video clips just no longer exist. This is a very special version performed by "The Ruude Boys": Jeff Storck as the interviewer, Eric Storck as Mrs. Simnel & Luigi Vercotti, Mark Eaton as Harry "Snapper" Organs & Gloria, David Shelby as Vince "Snetterton" Lewis, Tom Breen as the Bartender. Hope you get a chuckle!

  • Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin Ireland Christ Church Cathedral (The Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity) in Dublin is the elder of the city's two mediæval cathedrals, the other being St. Patrick's, having been founded by St Laurence O'Toole. It has been the seat of the archbishop of Dublin (initially Roman Catholic, then Church of Ireland) since mediæval times. The cathedral was built by the Vikings at their original settlement at Wood Quay, alongside the River Liffey quayside. The cathedral was the location of the coronation of Lambert Simnel in 1487 as 'King Edward VI' a boy pretender who sought unsuccessfully to depose Henry VII of England. In the seven***th century, both parliament and the law courts met in buildings erected alongside Christ Church. King James II himself presided over a state opening of parliament in that location. However, parliament and the law courts both moved elsewhere; the law courts to the newly built Four Courts and parliament to Chichester House in Hoggen Green (now College Green). For more info:
