2009 Fallen Heros, Ralston, Nebraska September 28, 2009, Omaha World Herald, Midlands section reports Maggie Ford hugs Rick Kieloin in front of a plaque in Ralston, Nebraska, with the names of servicemen and servicewoman who lost their lives with the war on terrorism. The names of Ford's nephew, Joshua Ford, and Kieloin's nephew, Shane Kielion, are on the plaque. At left, people at Sunday'a Appreciation Day for Fallen Heros help keep the American Flag from touching the ground when it's lowered at the end of the event. The Ceremony aimed to bring together the community and military families to remember the servicemen and servicewoman who have died in combat over the past several years.
