  • FOX NEWS - Australia Bush Fires The awful images we see are akin to a third world country suffering from violence and war and crisis and self destruction. DRCongo. Iraq. Afghanistan. Liberia. Lebanon. Kenya. And many others have travelled this path. And now Australia looking very much like a third world nation needing help from the watching world. Burned out car wrecks. Women crying. Dead bodies. Children fearing. Land devestated as if by atomic bomb. Smouldering crushed homes & businesses. Perished dreams. Extinguished hopes. Demoralised people. Yes you will recover. You must. But forever you will know you are now only one step from the ghastly third world image that you scornfully claim other nations to be. And the witnessing world will also know such things, as they have always done, that your country is at all times but one small tread from humiliation. No better than the rest of us. Perhaps even worse as you are not yet hardened to the reality of large scale disaster. Learn from this event the consequences of your HUBRIS and never imagine again that your nation occupies a glorified position of untouchability by disasters, natural or man made. The ugly images broadcast to the world of Australia and its recent events must surely now give you pause to sit in quiet introspection as you assess how your behaviours have upset your own people so much that they would seek to turn on you and set such fires upon you deliberately. And then once you have considered your national behaviour, think also of the ...
  • [UTAU] The Person Who Loves a Demon (English) [Camila Melodia] MMKAY. That took a while. UST by ShinySerebii, edited for English compatibility by me (shadowrose0412/TrainerConchita/TC). I don't think I'm going to release this edited version because I honestly doubt that a lot of people use the phonemes that are used here, and I doubt people would be interested. I'll ask if there is some interest, though. Okay, so I love love love this song to death, so I have another cover set aside that makes use of the original Japanese. Suba's making pictures for that one. However, I felt lazy (read: couldn't find any images related to the song at all), so I made a quick one in Paint Shop Pro. ANYWAY, I decided to make an English version, which means that I managed to make the first English "dub" of a song, I think. Lyrics are (in case you can't keep up with my atrocious mixing/use of Camila): The Ruler of Summer smiles scornfully at me And so he taught this empty and pitiful shell that I am "If the circumstances are extremely poor, Lay the blame on the demon and it will all be fine." An unexpected twist on such prejudice I call him a demon and so I turn away But underneath the heavy and cloudy sky above... It was merely a big comfortably spoken lie The person who loves the past weeps many times They also love to be given attention The person who loves another has a frail heart A fragile and disappearing thing but I understand nevertheless... The Ruler of Winter has very dark cold eyes And he asked a question to my empty and blank soul "If humans ...
  • Legacy of Sinhala Upset =====~~~ SINHALA UPSET ~~~===== Dear SINHALESE; I understand that you are upset by us, Indeed, it appears that you are quite upset, even angry. Today, it is the "Barbarism of LTTE terrorism" yesterday it was Federal party, before that it was the "favouritism of the British". It appears that Tamil, who could achieve equality and who, therefore, could live, upset you. Indeed, every few years you seem to become upset by us. Your were upset in 1956, 1958, 1961 and 1977 and went on acts of arson, rape, pillage, murder and plain barbarity and we were scornfully asked to go to the federal party for help Of course, dear Sinhalese, long before there was a Tamil tiger, we the Tamil people - upset you. And we go back a long way in the history of Sinhala upset. We upset the "Great" Sinhala king Detugemunu and you still use his "history" to teach your young ones to be more upset by us. Reds are upset and monks are upset. The radical Sinhalese are upset and the gentle "Sinhalese moderates" are upset. We upset the Sinhala Hamudawa who massacred tens of thousands of us; we upset the Sinhala police who, collaborate with rioters and killed, burnt and slaughtered untold numbers of us. And it is because we became so upset over upsetting you, dear Sinhalese, that we decided to leave you - in a manner of speaking - and establish a Tamil state. The reasoning was that living in close contact with you, as resident-strangers, we upset you, irritate you and disturb you. What better notion, then ...

  • O Sacred Head Now Wounded My ocarina is a Fabio Menaglio. Sweet potato, 10 hole, tenor. I painted it blue, lol. Beautiful song written by Bach. I heard it in church and had to play it. I only played 2 verses though. Lyrics: O sacred Head, now wounded, with grief and shame weighed down, now scornfully surrounded with thorns, thine only crown: how pale thou art with anguish, with sore abuse and scorn! How does that visage languish which once was bright as morn! 2.What thou, my Lord, has suffered was all for sinners' gain; mine, mine was the transgression, but thine the deadly pain. Lo, here I fall, my Savior! 'Tis I deserve thy place; look on me with thy favor, vouchsafe to me thy grace. 3.What language shall I borrow to thank thee, dearest friend, for this thy dying sorrow, thy pity without end? O make me thine forever; and should I fainting be, Lord, let me never, never outlive my love for thee.

  • Chodorov 1953 Lecture for the Individual Frank Chodorov talks about natural laws and the individual. Full lecture can be found at "The soul of a high-minded man is one thing; and the great game of politics is another thing...a machine with a purpose of its own--not the purpose of serving the fixed and supreme principles--the great game laughs at all things that stand before and above itself, and brushes them scornfully aside, but the purpose of securing victory; and to that purpose all the more scrupulous men must conform, like the weaker brethren, or--as the noblest men do occasionally--stand aside." -Auberon Herbert

  • Passion Chorale (O Sacred Head sore wounded) by JSBach (thank you for ignoring spelling error in video) Words to piece: O sacred Head, now wounded, with grief and shame weighed down, Now scornfully surrounded with thorns, Thine only crown; How pale Thou art with anguish, with sore abuse and scorn! How does that visage languish, which once was bright as morn! What Thou, my Lord, hast suffered, was all for sinners' gain; Mine, mine was the transgression, but Thine the deadly pain. Lo, here I fall, my Savior! 'Tis I deserve Thy place; Look on me with Thy favor, vouchsafe to me Thy grace. Men mock and taunt and jeer Thee, Thou noble countenance, Though mighty worlds shall fear Thee and flee before Thy glance. How art thou pale with anguish, with sore abuse and scorn! How doth Thy visage languish that once was bright as morn! Now from Thy cheeks has vanished their color once so fair; From Thy red lips is banished the splendor that was there. Grim death, with cruel rigor, hath robbed Thee of Thy life; Thus Thou hast lost Thy vigor, Thy strength in this sad strife. My burden in Thy Passion, Lord, Thou hast borne for me, For it was my transgression which brought this woe on Thee. I cast me down before Thee, wrath were my rightful lot; Have mercy, I implore Thee; Redeemer, spurn me not! What language shall I borrow to thank Thee, dearest friend, For this Thy dying sorrow, Thy pity without end? O make me Thine forever, and should I fainting be, Lord, let me never, never outlive my love to Thee.

  • Burl Ives - The Little Engine That Could Hi! Please visit our website, Rock The Jukebox: www.rock-the- There was a little railroad train with loads and loads of toys All starting out to find a home with little girls and boys And as that little railroad train began to chug along The little engine up in front was heard to sing this song Choo choo, choo choo, choo choo, choo choo, I feel so good today Oh, clear the track, oh clickety clack, I'll go my merry way The little train went roaring on, so fast, it seemed to fly Until it reached a mountain rising almost to the sky The little engine moaned and groaned and huffed and puffed away But halfway to the top it just gave up and seemed to say I can't go on, I can't go on, I'm weary as can be I can't go on, I can't go on, this job is not for me The toys got out to push but all in vain alas, alack And then a great big engine came a whistling down the track They asked if it would kindly pull them up the mountain side But with a high and mighty sneer it scornfully replied Don't bother me, don't bother me to pull the likes of you Don't bother me, don't bother me, I've better things to do The toys all started crying 'cause that engine was so mean And then there came another one, the smallest ever seen But though it seemed that she could hardly pull herself along She hitched on to the train and as she pulled she sang this song I think I can, I think I can, I think I have a plan And I can do 'most anything if I only think I can Then up that great big mountain with ...

  • Le bal des Laze (ukulele plastic cover) Ce matin, j'avais vraiment envie de faire cette chanson, avec mon ukulele plastoc. Donc voilà, dès les premiers rayons du soleil... Michel Polnareff LE BAL DES LAZE I am going to the gallows tomorrow I was never meant to live in castles It all happened because of one June evening during a soiree in the castle In the Castle of Laze, Lord and Lady of Laze were giving the grandest Ball in all of London. Guests of nobility arrived wearing diamonds, rubies, topaz and long white dresses. I am going to the gallows tomorrow Regrettably for the girl of this castle For I know she enjoyed making love with me quietly and far away from the castle In the Castle of Laze, Lord and Lady had invited the Queen for 20 years And I was always treated scornfully, but I was brimming with anger As I hid in the garden, clenching my fists, as I watched Jane and her fiancé dance. I am going to the gallows tomorrow To be remembered only by a few insignificant lines in the newspaper That I was a just a lowly assassin A vagabond not worthy of this castle Back in the Castle of Laze Maybe Jane at the hour of my death will feel a bit of sorrow But my last words will be so that you may take pity on me Since she will soon have another fiancé that I won't be able to do the same to.

  • G 20 NWO COPENHAGEN MIND SLAVES !!! TAKING THE devil 's orders !!! GOD OR man ?? !!! The words of the Mother to the bride about how sweet the Mother and the Son are to each other. How Christ is bitter, bitterer, and most bitter for the evil, and how he is sweet, sweeter, and most sweet for the good. Book 1 - Chapter 58 SAINT BRIDGET PATRON SAINT OF EUROPE PART I The Mother of God said to the bride: Consider, new bride of my Son, the suffering of my Son, which surpassed in bitterness the suffering of all the saints. Just as a mother would feel the most bitter sorrow and anguish if she saw her son being cut to pieces alive, so, too, was I grieving at the torments of my Son when I saw his bitter sufferings. Then she spoke to her Son, saying: Blessed be you, my Son, for you are holy, as it is sung: Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Sabaoth. Blessed be you, for you are sweet, sweeter, and most sweet! You were holy before you assumed Manhood, holy in my womb, and holy after you assumed Manhood. You were sweet before the creation of the world, sweeter to the angels, and most sweet to me when you assumed Manhood from me. The Son answered: Blessed be you, my beloved Mother, above all the angels. Just as I, in a threefold way, was most sweet for you, as you were saying now, so I am bitter, bitterer, and most bitter for the wicked. I am bitter for those who say I have created many things without a reason and who scornfully say I have created mankind for death and not for life. What a miserable and foolish thought! Did I, who am the most righteous and virtuous, create the ...

  • My Super Duper Fly Rapping, Yeah! At my high school talent show...lots of stomach-clutching for some reason. Dunno why, but anyway... And my friends wanted me to post the lyrics since I can't be heard that well, so here ya go: Now I may as well proceed, cuz white boy jokes are played as hell. What I say impels the cultus...I am the alpha and omega male. Even if I had writer's block when I wrote this It's hard to entertain without stopping to notice What your existence comprises of—the lies and loves Come with the turf you plant your feet on and hope to rise above But I'm enticed enough by the cats in the bleachers With their limited admirable features, but half of MC's are Predestined to be a microcosm in this glamorous orgeee Of blood, sweat, MTV, and Bacardi Lime, While the other half is scornfully, mourning these harder times, Of whoring the art of rhyme to those who can hardly rhyme. So martyrs line up for the latest way to say hip-hop is dead Naw, rap is more like Busta Rhymes...it was rocking dreads Then it cut 'em off to mark the birthing of a new entity, But mainstream went gangrene and made a few enemies. So either you defend the streets or you're living seven feet Underground—then claim that everybody dumbs it down. See we all run around this debate, people drown it with hate And in the end none of these clowns innovate. But then you got a problem wanting to rap When the only hood that you rep was bought at the Gap Cuz you're little cracker, a brittle rapper Belittled after you try to emulate ...
  • Humberto Velez's The Last Builder, music by Nikola Kodjabashia, 2008 The Last Builder by Humberto Velez with Dionisio Herrera Gonzalez, Super 8 B&W, Music by Nikola Kodjabashia, Montage by Willian Aldersley, 2008. "We called him Jose, for no reason, although his name was Dionisio Herrera Gonzalez; one of the many unexplained things in a life full of secrets. He was seventy years old when he was captured in this film. He was born in Jamaica, of Cuban-Oriental parents, he always emphasized. And he arrived in Panama when he was still a small child. It was through friends his father had made during the c*** construction, that he was hired when he was only fif*** years old, under another name and stating a different age. Neither Jose, nor Dionisio, was really a Hercules, who boasted that he had split the continents spine with his hands. I opened it with my own hands—he would say, while smiling scornfully. It seemed as if the continent had transferred its strength to him. This was not his only achievement. A pioneer of bodybuilding as a way of life, he had sculpted his body, defying time. Time, on the other hand, had not allowed itself to be completely thwarted, keeping his face for itself." Giovanna Miralles, writer.
  • Orealis - The Raiders From "Night Visions": Last night a wind from Lammermoor came roaring up the glen With the tramp of trooping horses and the laugh of reckless men. It struck a mailed hand on the gate and cried in rebel glee, "Come forth, come forth, my borderer, and ride the march with me!" I said, "Oh, wind of Lammermoor, this night's too dark to ride, And all the men that fill this glen are ghosts of men who died. The floods are down on the Bowmont Burn and the moss is fetlock deep; Go back, wild wind of Lammermoor, to Lauderdale and sleep." Up spoke the wind of Lammermoor: "We know this road right well, The road that runs by Kale and Jed across the Carter Fell. There is no man of all the men in this grey troupe of mine But blind might ride the borderside from Tevyothead to Tyne." The horses fretted on their bits and pawed the flints to fire; The riders swung them to the south, full-faced to their desire. "Come," said the wind of Lammermoor, and spoke full scornfully, "Have you no pride to mount and ride your father's road with me?" A roan horse to the gate they led, foam-flecked and traveled far, A snorting roan that tossed his head and flashed his forehead star. There came the sound of clashing steel and hooftramps up the glen As two by two we cantered through, a troupe of ghostly men. Well, I know not if the farms we fired are burnt to ashes yet, And I know not if the stirks grew tired before the stars were set; I only know that late last night when northern winds blew free, A troupe ...

  • A BOY NAMED SUE !!! JOHNNY CASH 1969 LIVE SAN QUENTIN PRISON The words of the Mother to the bride about how sweet the Mother and the Son are to each other.

  • 5 Minutes Bible Study - Authority (2) AUTHORITY, 2 by Dr. Harold Sala The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8 Charles Haddon Spurgeon, the British expositor of bygone days, told the story of a poor woman who was confronted by an agnostic who asked, "What are you reading?" She replied, "The Bible, the Word of God." The agnostic said, "Who told you that is the Word of God?" She replied, "God told me so, Himself." "Told you so," he scornfully retorted, "Why, can you prove that?" Looking skyward the old lady replied, "Can you prove to me there is a sun up there in that sky?" He answered: "Why, of course! The best proof is that it warms me and I can see its light." "That's it!" was her joyous reply. "The proof that I have that this is the Word of God, is that it warms me and lights my soul!" You would probably agree that the Bible does this, but is it enough to simply appeal to the subjective element of your experience? I've had people tell me the same thing in response to reading modern gurus, or eastern prophets who sit draped in a bed sheet hallucinating on drugs. Upon what does the authority of the Bible rest? Your experience, a warm feeling in your heart, or upon certain pragmatic facts which form a bedrock for your faith? The Bible does bear witness to its distinctive and unusual authorship. It declares that it was given by holy men of God who wrote as they were moved or born along by the Holy Spirit. Gautama Buddha or Mohammed made no such claim. When the ...

  • O Sacred Head, Now Wounded (Passion Chorale) - Piano with Lyrics Solo piano meditation on the hymn "O Sacred Head, Now Wounded (Passion Chorale)" recorded March, 2011. Produced in Apple Logic Express 9.0 using Kontakt "Alicia's Keys" virtual piano (Yamaha C3 Neo grand). Arrangement and recording copyright 2011 by Rick Betts O sacred Head, now wounded, with grief and shame weighed down, Now scornfully surrounded with thorns, Thine only crown; O sacred Head, what glory, what bliss till now was Thine! Yet, though despised and gory, I joy to call Thee mine. What language shall I borrow to thank Thee, dearest friend, For this Thy dying sorrow, Thy pity without end? O make me Thine forever, and should I fainting be, Lord, let me never, never outlive my love to Thee.
