Obama saddened by Holocaust shooting President Obama urged the country to remain vigilant against prejudice in the wake of a fatal shooting at the US Holocaust Museum. Senate Democrats proposed a health care reform bill that includes a national option of government-funded health care. The President proposed making pay-as-you-go rules federal law this week, which would require Congress to balance any increased spending by equal savings elsewhere.
NORMAN WISDOM - SCIENCE FICTION FILM COMEDY - TEASER TRAILER We're all immensely saddened by the loss of Sir Norman. As a filmmaker and fan, to actually have the opportunity of directing Norman in a film in which he played his legendary 'gump' character - WOW! What an experience. I shouted "action", and he yelled back "Mr Grimsdale!". What more could a fan want? I wrote the screenplay as a tribute/homage to his classic comedy, and the wonderful films directed by John Paddy Carstairs and Robert Asher for the Rank Organisation. Norman was a joy to work with and know, and I hope his fans will have as much fun watching this film as we certainly had making it. Norman himself was very pleased with the finished result. Earlier this year (2010) I began a plan of action on how to finally complete the project, which will take another 10-12 months at least (to shoot additional scenes/post-production work etc). Scott Kalitta - Return to Racing (Post Crash Tribute) I am saddened that after the terrible news today that Scott Lost his life during a Qualifying run at Englishtown, that I only see videos of the crash being posted to YouTube. It's a pretty sad dialogue of human culture to know people would rather view the crash that ended instead of the moments that hilight a drivers' career. I filmed this clip back when I worked for Mac Tools. It is of a press conference in which Scott Kalitta was announcing his return to racing by way of the Mac Tools / West Coast Choppers Top Fuel Rail. I think this video illustrates, in Scott's way, his excitement to return to racing. I think it's important to stress that while he was taken from the world too soon, he went out doing what he loved. My heart felt sympathies go out to the Kalitta Families and the entire Kalitta racing team. Rest in peace, Scott - we'll miss you.

G-LOC Air Battle - Gameplay ...I'm saddened that there are no gameplay vids of this game that I can find. Sure, it's no After Burner as far as Genesis dogfight games go, but damn, this game was fun. The one big problem is the quick transition between first person, and third person views. I wished it stayed in first person, as third person isn't very good for this type of game. You can't see some of the enemies coming in front of you, and there's also that... really stupid death as you'll see in this vid.

There is a little story behind the clip that I am posting - while I was preparing for my senior recital as an undergraduate (in the distant 2001), I tried to listen to as many interpretations of this aria as possible. Riley-Schofield's was one of the first interpretations I found while searching the Internet. I also think it's a damn good one, too.
