Vision and augmented reality - Retiming This course aims to give students an introduction to computer vision, in particular to three-dimensional vision and to object segmentation. Opportunity will be taken to have an overview of the applications of computer vision to virtual reality, the art of mixing real and virtual images. Tackled topics will be: image segmentation; 2D special effects; discrete and continuous shape optimization for; the geometry of cameras; stereovision; three-dimensional models acquisition from images (shape, texture and motion); 3D augmented reality and special effects. Retiming refers to a technique used in video editing. Its purpose is to generate intermediate frames between each keyframe. of each keyframe, and to generate intermediate frames. The fastest is to use a brute force fade - out between the two images. The result is clearly unsatisfying, as shown on the simple graphical example given above. The precise purpose of our retimer is to obtain the same result while avoiding this problem of non-consistency of the intermediate images. Our method is made of 5 steps : 1) Computation of the SIFT points for each image 2) Associations of the two lists of SIFT points 3) Triangulation of I1 4) Triangulation of I2 5) Generation of the intermediate images

Retiming tests from 30 to 25 fps - twixtor Test video of a face that is revealed / occluded several times. Shot with the Canon 5D Mark II at 30 fps, retimed with twixtor to 25 fps with standard settings (no manual foreground extraction). Some artefacts are visisble, but overall twixtor does a reasonable job. Shots like this might work better with frame blending or manual foreground extraction in twixtor.

Twixtor Pro 5.0 AECS5 winx64 free full download with serial key Direct download for free here: goo.gl Browse and download other software for free here: or http "Twixtor intelligently slows down, speeds up or changes the frame rate of your image sequences. Twixtor raises the bar in motion estimation. Twixtor is much more accurate, tracks objects farther, and exhibits fewer artifacts when there are objects crossing in the scene. This means less tearing and stretching of objects as they cross or go out of the frame. Twixtor enables you to speed up, slow down or frame rate convert your image sequences with visually stunning results. In order to achieve its unparalleled image quality, Twixtor synthesizes unique new frames by warping and interpolating frames of the original sequence... employing RE:Vision's proprietary tracking technology that calculates motion for each individual pixel. Nick Brooks, Academy Award and Emmy Award winner for visual effects says, "Twixtor represents a new touchstone in retiming. The difference in accuracy means that retiming artifacts are either drastically reduced or disappear on the hardest to retime footage. " DV Magazine calls Twixtor "amazing" and "a must-have for any toolkit." Chris Meyer, co-founder of CyberMotion, teacher of regular seminars on After Effects, columnist for DV Magazine and co-author of Creating Motion Graphics with After Effects and other books, says "I've tried other solutions - including Pixel Motion and Timewarp in After Effects 7 - and I have to ...

optical flow speed test - frame blending (final cut) & optical flow retime (motion3) if u have final cut studio/express u probably know there is some problem with retiming video. final cut retime your vid with "frame blendig" effect. that means there is kind of "ghoost" effect which is irritating from about 60% slow motion. so we have some solution in motion 3. we can use "optical flow" retiming which gave us beautifull slow motion up to 10% speed. in this test u've may probably not seen this relsult but it is much much better! here is vid which helps me to do that :

Final Cut Pro - Better slow motion with Motion 3 optical flow retiming roundtrip Face it - Final Cut Pro has never handled retiming very well. Enter Motion 3 and optical flow retiming - a vastly superior yet time consuming way to create slow motion retimed clips. Apple introduced optical flow retiming into the Final Cut Studio with the Motion 3 release. This will probably be better integrated in future version of Final Cut Pro - but for now we examine the Final Cut Pro to Motion 3 back to Final Cut Pro roundtrip method of optical flow retiming.
