Destiny of an Emperor - Bug Exploit - Chi Tu Ma + Nu Long UPDATE: For info on how to duplicate this bug, please see my FAQ at IGN: There is a very well-known bug in Destiny of an Emperor for the NES that causes some of the items in the game to suddenly disappear from their treasure chests and hidden locations without warning. Often enough, a player will get to a part of the game where either a necessary item for plot progression is not in its chest and appears to have been taken already, or one of the ultimate weapons is missing later in the game from its chest. For a long time, the origins and causes of this bug were unknown. One thing that was known, though, is that in some seemingly random cases, the bug allowed more than one Chi Tu Ma to be acquired in the game. However, since the bug has been such an unpredictable anomaly for so long, it was never possible to "force" the bug to cause this situation, and it has always been as random an event as the missing-items bug. Essentially, the bug can be a curse or a blessing without warning. With enough debugging, I was able to get to the root cause of the bug, and figure out exactly why and how it happens. As a result, I can now reproduce the bug at will, but with a positive side effect instead - repopulating opened treasure chests and hidden items. Theoretically, any treasure can be repopulated. However, there are only 7 items in the entire game that you would actually want to repopulate - Chi Tu Ma, Nu Long, Qing Long, Bo Ye, Wan Sheng, Qing Guang, and Halberd ...

Tone control capacitor well is restuffed and potted with GE Silicone II. All out of tolerance resistors replaced. Electrolytic capacitors replaced. All tubes repopulated. I used new old stock. I have to test the original tubes still. I was able to power up the radio and it works! The shadow meter works only on strong statons. The AVC voltage has to be checked. Need to also align the 3 IF stages. Radio seems to be sensitive and has lots of volume! Mote I had to up the fuse to about 2.5 A. The inrush current after repeated turning on caused the fuse to blow. These radios have a large inrush current on turn on with capacitors charging and cold tube filaments sucking up a lot of current. Radio takes about 1 A when running. I don't think slo blo fuses are a good option.

Programming the Data Grid View Control in Visual Basic Source Code - In this episode, I am going to show you how to maintain the current scroll position, when repopulating a data grid view control, especially when using a large data set. Here, I have a fairly long list of database records, and let's say the user has scrolled down the list and picked an entry for editing, typically you would re-populate the data grid, to reflect the changes the user has made. If you just do a simple re-fresh, then as you can see the scroll bar position goes back to the start of the grid, and the user loses the position they where at, which makes for frustrating user experience. However, if I use this button, the data grid is repopulated with all the new data, yet this time the software automatically scrolls to the position the user was at, keeping them happy. So let's take a look at the code behind this button. The solution is quite easy really, I define an integer variable called first displayed row, and before I call my populate grid routine, I store the value of the first displayed row index into this variable. I then call my populate grid routine, which connects to my database and retrieves all the data displaying it in the grid control. In fact - as Defiance would show - he was simply the Dark Entity inhabiting his own, natural Hylden body. In Blood Omen, Kain refused to sacrifice himself to repair the Pillar of Balance. This sealed the Pillars' fate, condemning them to collapse. The barrier between Nosgoth's Material Realm and the demon dimension weakened substantially, and a powerful Hylden - a leader amongst them - was able to re-enter the Material Realm using the Hylden Gate. He gradually began to increase his power in preparation for a full invasion. He established - or re-populated - a base (the Hylden City), and started to draw other Hylden into Nosgoth's Material Realm with him. However, it was not enough to bring his people through slowly - his aim was to purge the land of all vampires and humans. He intended to complete and use the Device - the Hylden race's ancient weapon of destruction.

Joya de Cerén, El Salvador May 2009 1of2 Joya de Cerén (Jewel of Cerén in the Spanish language) is an archaeological site in El Salvador featuring a pre-Columbian Maya farming village preserved remarkably intact under layers of volcanic ash. It is often referred to as the "Pompeii of the Americas" in comparison to the famous Ancient Roman ruins. A small farming community inhabited as early as 900 BC, Cerén was on the southeast edge of the Maya cultural area. Cerén was evacuated in AD 250 due to the eruption of the Ilopango volcano but was repopulated no earlier than the year 400 and was, at the time of its final evacuation, a tributary to nearby San Andrés. Around the year 590,[1][2] Loma Caldera, another nearby volcano, erupted and buried the village under 14 layers of ash. The villagers were apparently able to flee in time – no bodies have been found – although they left behind utensils, ceramics, furniture, and even half-eaten food in their haste to escape. The site was discovered in 1976 by Payson Sheets, a professor of anthropology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Since then the excavation process has continued. Carlos Rio's "Happy Sea Otter Eating Shellfish at Seward, AK" This is a Sea Otter we saw about 50 feet from the road to our campsite, just outside the city of Seward. For our 2 days there we saw him there every time we passed. But that is not un-expected. They eat 1/4 their body weight in food a day and can weigh 90 pounds. But as you can see, they have to work hard to suck all the meat out of those shells. They are very common to see these days. But in the17 and 1800's the Russians almost hunted them into extinction because their fur keeps you the warmest of all animal (well,perhaps less than the muskox). They have no blubber (unlike all other marine mammals like seals, sea lions and whales). A ranger told me they have 1 million hairs per inch (was he putting me on?). In 1911 they say there were only 2000 in the Alaskan waters. In the 1960s they got a program to get them re-populated into the wild. By a decade they had 160000. Now they are all over. If there is kelp, there live their prey and there they are. Some claim they are the cause of the loss of the abalone, sea cucumbers, sea urchin and geofish as commercial fisheries. Well. if you ask me, success of one species means decline of their prey.
