Generator Regenerative Acceleration is accomplished with the incorporation of HIGH IMPEDANCE / HIGH VOLTAGE COILS which have the effect of accelerating the prime mover during operation. Perepiteia Generator Operation Explanation Draft 1 June 20th, 2008 High Voltage Coil Effects Thane C. Heins Introduction The Perepiteia Generator employs high voltage coils to counteract the effects associated with Lenzs Law and the Law of Conservation of Energy. Whereas a conventional generator high current coil design causes the prime mover to decelerate under load the Perepiteia high voltage coil design causes the prime mover to accelerate. If high current and high voltage coils are employed simultaneously, the acceleration provided by the high voltage coils can completely eliminate Lenzs Law (deceleration) effects and even provide additional acceleration despite high current coil loading. This paper is intended to explain (only) one aspect of how this acceleration may be occurring with respect to how high voltage wire eddy currents affect the coils ability to produce an induced magnetic field as dictated by Lenzs Law. There of course are other possible reasons for the observed acceleration (including core loss reduction) which will be dealt with in greater detail at another time. Basic Observations, Critical Minimum Rotor Speed/Frequency Conventional generators employ low ...

Heavy rotor will be replaced in the next demo with lighter steel rotor. More discussion here: HOWGENERATOR HIGH VOLTAGE COILS CAUSE ACCELERATION At the critical threshold speed or frequency (dictated by the coils impedance) the high voltage coil ceases to act as an INDUCTOR (storing energy in the electromagnetic field and producing a Lenz's Law repelling action to the approaching magnetic field) and begins to act as a CAPACITOR (storing energy in the electrostatic field between the wires). This is clearly shown in the video FREQUENCY VARIATIONS & MULTI LAYER HV COIL ACCELERATION: When a North Pole magnet approaches a high voltage coil above the critical threshold speed/frequency a North Pole repelling magnetic field as per Lenz's Law is not produced because the coil's impedance has impeded the current flow within the coil sufficiently. Voltage is built up in the coil and stored in the electrostatic field, between the wires like a capacitor. When the North Pole magnet is TDC - Top Dead Centre - neither approaching nor receding away from the coil - the coil's stored voltage, which is now at a maximum, is released through the coil's DC resistance and a magnetic field is produced according to Lenz's Law (at this split second at TDC the AC sine wave is changing direction ...

  • One valve regenerative receiver runs off 12 volts HT - Part 1 What happens if you use 12 volts as the high tension for a homebew valve receiver? The answer is you lose the need for a mains power supply, eliminate AC hum problems and can prod around inside without getting bitten. Construction is also much quicker. This video describes a 1 valve regenerative receiver using a 12AX7 mains valve. The filaments are wired in series and the whole lot is run from a 12 volt gel battery. It tunes about 470 - 1900 kHz, allowing reception of signals on either side of the AM broadcast band. Eventually I'll add more coils for HF coverage. The set was built in a day based on the refined Thames & Kosmos Radio Ace circuit here: cool386 I didn't need to change any component values as those given worked first time. But I did (i) add an LM386 audio amplifier (22k plate resistor replaces the transformer primary) to provide speaker reception and (ii) wind the coil on a ferrite rod, complete with a winding for the antenna (about 70 turns with the tap at around 10 turns from ground). If you don't want the LM386 stage, just wire some 2k impedance headphones instead of the transformer primary (satisfactory reception on local stations) or do like the original and use a power transformer to step down to low impedence phones. As for valves, I agree that the 12AU7 provided the easiest regeneration. A 12AT7 was less active but could still be made to oscillate across the whole band. A 12AX7 also worked but only oscillated in the top half of the band with ...

Not just producing abstract ecological benefit like carbon credits, but actually serving as living machines to regenerate the ocean ecology. Floating farms could create habitat and edges, refugia for declining ocean species. These farms could also sequester and remove toxins in the ocean. The need for sustainable fuel sources is obvious. I believe this idea is both pioneering economically and ecologically.
