Or is it finite in a steady state? From the very beginning this has been a subject of debate between great minds. Hot debates and ratiocination of all kinds failed to clarify this dilemma. I realize this video might agitate some of his more dedicated followers. My goal, though, *is* to agitate, in the same way a piece of film needs to be agitated, so that the developer can properly start to reveal the image locked within the silver halide crystals. I cannot stress this enough: what a person calls the "I" is just the Ego, and is no more than a sliver, a shard, a fragment, of the entire Self. The problem with the non-dualists is their reliance on pure ratiocination to overcome the "illusion" of separateness. But ratiocination is not enough. A true experience and integration of the subconscious is what is necessary to *experience* how we really are not separate from what we are observing. So, basically, in trying to do away with the Ego, they are actually enshrining it. Again: what you call "you" is not the whole you. Concord Community Spelling Bee On Thursday, November 18, 2010, adults (some costumed) came together for the 2nd Annual Concord (NH) Community Adult Spelling Bee. Presented by Main Street Concord, the night began with the word, "serendipity" and ended with "ratiocination." Along the way, spellers and onlookers bough drinks, souvenirs, and raffle tickets, with proceeds going to various downtown programs and projects.
