A Tour of Andromeda's Black Hole [720p] For over a decade, astronomers have been using the Chandra X-ray Observatory to monitor the supermassive black hole in the center of Andromeda, the Milky Way's sister galaxy. These observations have revealed that the black hole at the center of Andromeda was very quiet until January 2006, when it underwent a big outburst in X-rays. Since then, it's quieted down again, but it remains about ten times brighter in X-rays now than before 2006. Grand Cherokee steering linkage repair I got some help from my friend and owner of this Jeep, Jason Matherson with the camera on this one. He brought me his Jeep a few months ago with a loose steering wheel and I showed him the trouble that was brewing. At first it was noisy like a rusty hinge, he tried to inject grease into the boots and that quieted things down for a bit but they still wore to the point you see here. I have to confess that this job took a lot longer than pictured as YT only allows me 10min of video (any longer is too long in my opinion anyway). I was almost done with the job when I ran out of gas for my torch and I had quite a bit of trouble putting one side back in, I ended up lubing the heck out of it. I hope this helps you get a better idea of how steering linkage works and how to fix it (with big hammers and torches). Japanese Junior High School During the Earthquake This video was recorded about two minutes after the earthquake first began and was becoming more intense. We were on the third floor of our school, and the entire building was shaking violently for a moment before moving into an eerie swaying movement, as if it was teetering on the edge of a cliff. Once the earthquake had quieted down to a faint rolling feeling, students immediately evacuated the building and gathered on the open schoolyard (they were not sent home as mentioned in the video). We sat outside for two hours dealing with a few aftershocks before it was decided that students would be walked home in groups by all of the teachers. Don't mind my ***ty commentary. I had no idea what to say or what to do. Children's Windowfarm with greenhouse bottles and Durso siphon - July 24, 2010 Massively quieted the drain noise by using a "Durso" standpipe or siphon (the video shows before and after). The Durso siphon was invented by Richard Durso for quieting aquariums (). Also found that using halved water bottles works perfectly over the 2" net pots to create mini greenhouses for the plants growing from seed, as well as plants I'm propagating from cuttings. We've now got mint, basil, strawberries, and pineapple(!) propagating.

Exploding ammunition in a Union City House Fire. Union City Fire Dept, CA Small arms ammunition is cooking off from a first floor bedroom fire. The door to the bedroom was baracaded shut with furniture. Filming started after the evacuation order went out. While using forceable entry to gain access to the bedroom, the live rounds started going off repeatedly. The order was then given for a defensive attack. After the rounds quieted down, we went back in and put it out.

Jeep 4.0 start up with no oil pressure My Jeep's oil pressure went to zero the other day, and the motor started to eat itself. This is the first time I started it since it was towed home. Funny thing is it got oil pressure back and the noise quieted a bit...but not much.
