RC Ed Force One Final Frontier Version Rough Cut This is an E Flite Super Airliner (experience level required to fly: advanced) which I made into the form of the 2011 tour version of Iron Maiden's Ed Force One. The flight took place at the Ute R/C Association (AMA Charter# 2786) modelport on the south shore of the Great Salt Lake at sunset. I eventually reached an altitude of approximately 300-400 feet. The camera being used for filming is a Looxcie 2 miniature camcorder. It retails for about $150USD and weighs only 22 grams. The aircraft itself is made of durable styrofoam. The fuselage is 57 inches/145 cm and the wing span is 55 inches/140 cm. Half of the fuselage was painted blue, so I had to go through 4 cans of Testors spray paint to fully whiten it. It took me about a month to make all the stickers/livery from scratch. During the flight, the anti-collision lights were quite visible from where I stood. My apologies for some of the shadowy, dark sequences during the flight. I'm hoping to add retractable landing gear to it in the near future. If successful with that, I hope to post another video showing a from-the- ground perspective with professionalized editing thrown in. We have to learn to walk onto the stage of a virtual reality as one unique personality -- without getting lost in ever new communities and identities. What could the design principles of this new and necessary identity-imagology be? We have to understand how to integrate the all new and excessive many into a whole One. New simple being -- that's what I call it. No thinking in boxes, no managing of inner diversities. Religion has become too weak, digital ignorants cannot give us directions. We -- ourselves in transition - have to believe in new ways, work in new ways, live in new ways, learn to be world citizens in new ways. What will be the result? Kind of an augmented human being. HE Kalonzo Musyoka officiates Pass-Out Ceremony of Prison Officers at Ruiru - Part 3. Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has urged those involved in public service recruitment, including the disciplined forces to ensure that it reflects the diversity of the Kenyan nation. Mr. Musyoka said there was no room for practicing tribalism in employment of people who serve all Kenyans. "Kenyans live in peace with one another irrespective of where one comes from," he added. The Vice President made the remarks toady during the pass-out parade of 2241 graduands at the Prison Staff Training College (PSTC), Ruiru in Kiambu County. The VP said over the last three years Kenya Prisons Service has been transformed from a ruthless and lethargic institution with low staff morale to one that now embodies the rule of law and respect for human rights and dignity. Mr. Musyoka noted that the department has embraced more humane approaches in the treatment and rehabilitation of offenders. He said the new constitution has fundamentally changed the way affairs are conducted in correctional services, particularly the new Bill of Rights that places responsibility on Kenyans to recognize and protect human rights and fundamental freedoms for every Kenyan citizen. The Vice President said in tandem with the Bill of Rights, the Directorate of Legal affairs and Human Rights has been established with mandate to oversee respect for human rights, including provision of legal services to inmates who cannot afford to hire legal counsel.
