Portal Walkthrough This is a full Review/Walkthrough of one of our favorite games around the 3DBuzz offices. Portal is a single-player first-person action/puzzle video game developed by Valve. In this video we talk about the many strengths and the very few weaknesses of this fantastic game.
Half-Life 2: Portal So you've played through Portal and loved every minute as much as we did. How about the ability to now play through Half-Life 2, HL2 Episodes, or other Source-powered games with the portal gun in-hand? We here at Primotech did exactly that and are sharing this footage of "Half-Life 2: Portal" with you now. Want to find out how you can do it too? Check out the full-writeup:

DemonStrate - Portal Done Pro - Speedrun - 9:25.567 - WR NOTICE: After watching the speedrun, before you say, "OMFG WTF HAX CHEATS!", please watch the commentary videos for this speedrun located here: This is it... Portal Done Pro. I, DemonStrate, beat Portal for the PC in under 10 minutes. From when I get out of bed, to the time I drop the final personality core into the furnace, the time is 9:25.567. It is the current world record for Portal completion time. Much of the speedrun is sitting in the elevator. I have not calculated yet how much time I waste waiting for the elevators, but I'm sure it is probably a majority of the time. I segmented the speedrun per map. This means when the game says, "Loading...", it is loading a new map, and I save the game and load from there. The only exceptions are Chambers 02 and 13. This speedrun uses a majority of the glitches in the game. Unfortunately, it does not use the acute angle glitch, which might be the most useful glitch in the game, if used correctly. All other glitches are explained in my series of commentary videos here: This video is not for the weak of heart. It is very fast and very confusing for someone who doesn't understand the glitches used. I would highly recommend watching the videos above. I don't believe anyone else in there right mind would try to do what I have done in this video. I completed the first segment on September 13, 2008, 06:12 AM and the last segment on July 03, 2010, 08:32 PM. Almost 2 years of working on this. Torrents ...

Portal '80s Commercial CHECK OUT the other RETRO COMMERCIAL we discovered HERE! Recently I was sorting through some of my old VHSs, looking for recordings of the first few minutes of Spice Channel movies, (you know, before the feed would get all scrambled) when I stumbled upon a caché of '80s cartoons I must have taped one Saturday morning as a kid. Immediately, I put my pants back on and began to revisit my childhood (except for the pants part). Lo and behold, there were all my old friends: Garfield and Friends, Spiderman and his Amazing Friends, Gobots... Though, truth be told, I wasn't nearly as interested in the cartoons as I was in the commercials that bookended them. Yeah, we've all been to , but some of these ads really tore open the floodgates of my memory. Like most of you, I'm a *** gamer, but I prefer my games aged twenty years or more. So when I saw two of the all-time rarest commercials for two of my all-time favorite games, I quickly took my pants back off, captured the footage to INTERNET, and posted 'em here. Many of you probably don't remember text adventure games, let alone the fact that Valve remade one of Sierra's more obscure interactive fiction titles, Portal, some two decades later as the first-person puzzler everyone knows and loves. And how many of our readers were owners of the Magnavox Odyssey², let alone Electronic Arts' genre pioneering Left 4 Dead? Valve would also remake this game a quarter of a century later, but not before ...

Portal - Ending 'Fight' *SPOILERS* The end 'fight' in Portal, finishing before the credits start. See the 'Portal - Credits Song' video in the video responses for the final bit. Enjoy! Notes: Yep this was recorded/uploaded quickly after Portal was released. Took 2 hours to finish and I started as soon as Valve unlocked it at 8AM BST. There's immense replayability and unlockables afterwards though, so don't let that hinder your opinion on the game. It's a fantastic, engaging and well executed game. I deliberately go slower/wait around/play with the eyeballs because the of extra dialogue that's said. I still went faster than i'd have liked though, but that's because of knowing YouTube's size/time restrictions, so apologies for missing out some of the extra dialogue.

Portal Challenge 18 using 8 Portals Challenge 18 completed using only 8 portals. This is by far my most complicated run ever. No wall-jumping or anything like that was used, though I did put a hat on a turret at one point. This video has a number of small glitches in it, though nothing is ever omitted other than very small details that I simply forgot to activate Fraps for. The only noteworthy omissions are: At 2 minutes, it looks like I loaded a save file and wound up on the platform adjacent to me. I actually just went through the portal at my feet, so just pretend you saw that and everything will be fine. When I'm arranging the turret at the closed door, I cut out a couple minutes of boring object manipulation. You can see the desired end result perfectly well, it just seems kind of sudden when the turret suddenly is upside-down. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Oh, and check the rest of my videos for more Portal runs.

Portal Prelude - GLaDOS' Activation NOTE: I don't care if you just got spoiled, it's your fault for looking at this video to begin with. Also, THIS IS NOT THE ENDING. After beating Test Chamber 18, a delayed party, letting go of the Portal Gun, the main character is invited to observe the activation of a new AI designed to streamline the activities in the Aperture Science Laboratories. This is from Portal: Prelude, a recently released mod for the Source Engine, based off of Portal. All credits go to the mod teams that developed this fine game to hold us over until Portal gets a sequel! Add "&fmt=18" to get to a much more preferable High Quality version.

Portal - Credits Song 'Still Alive' The song 'Still Alive' at the end of Portal during the credits. GLaDOS Myspace/MP3/Companion Cube Wallpaper at the bottom of the description. 'Still Alive' by Jonathan Coulton: and sung by Ellen McLain (GLaDOS, TF2 Announcer, HL2 Overwatch Administrator) I don't own the song or video in any way, nor make profit in any way. It's a great song, and I uploaded it purely based on that and to share it with others. Enjoy! Lyrics This was a triumph. I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction. Aperture Science We do what we must because we can. For the good of all of us. Except the ones who are dead. But there's no sense crying over every mistake. Taste the Cake (Half-Life 2 Machinima) HALF LIFE This is a music video to showcase the Valve game Portal. Despite the fact that the story in the lyrics of the song stray from what the game is really about, it does contain some spoilers. I left some of the most important content out (such as what happens if you don't die in the fire). This is to be the first of many videos I intend on making which will involve different genres of original music and will likely extend to other games in the future. I made this using Half-Life 2, Portals, Source SDK (Face Poser), and Garry's Mod. For the music I use FL Studio 8. I edited the skin to create the Aperture uniform on the citizen using Chell's texture. I am still new at making music, I will get better as I go. I hope you enjoy it. The Magic Portal This is the first Lego animation or "Brickfilm" as some people would call it, ever made, by a genius named "Lindsay Fleay". It was created in Perth, Western Australia between the years of 1985 and 1989! I talked to Lindsay and he gave me permission to upload this to my Youtube channel. Normally I wouldn't upload someone else's work, but I had to spread the word on this classic. Here's the blurb from Lindsay's website: "The Magic Portal is a short stop motion film that uses LEGO®, plasticene, cardboard and pixellated live action, made between the years of 1985 and 1989 on good ol' fashioned 16mm film. The story concerns the strange fate of a LEGO astronaut called L, who discovers the Magic Portal on board his giant spaceship. The Portal takes him to a strange and surreal LEGO world where he has a close encounter with a Monster and barely escapes with his life. His report to Captain Paranoia only gets him to trouble and his friend and shipmate P, doesn't believe him. However, the Portal has a mind of its own, and reappears to upset the cosy world of the giant spaceship and its crew to reveal weirder worlds more peculiar than the last..."
