ALTERNATE PERCEPTIONS magazine Coast to Coast am 07:25:2011.mov Greg Little, discussed Edgar Cayce, the search for Atlantis & the Hall of Records, as well as discoveries of lost planes in the Bermuda Triangle. The prophet Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) talked about a portion of Atlantis being found in the Bahamas. The remains of a rectangular underwater building off the island of Bimini originally found in 1969, was recently viewed again, and has been dated back to 17000 BC, Little reported. Cayce believed the Atlantean civilization got its start in 210, 000 BC. "He talked about thought forms and entities that existed on other planets within other solar systems," and an ET visitation that occurred in the Maya lands in Central America, sometime after Jesus lived, Little recounted. Cayce said that in 10500 BC, Atlantean priests operated portals-- communication devices that allowed them to speak with intelligences from the "outer spheres," Little detailed. Through such a device, a priest was warned that Atlantis would be destroyed, and they should erect a Hall of Records to store their valuable history and knowledge. Cayce believed a Hall of Records (featuring 32 stone tablets) was created in three different locations-- Bimini, the Yucatan in Guatemala, and under the Sphinx in Egypt. Little has investigated numerous sunken planes in the Bermuda Triangle, but is uncertain if they are connected with the sinking of Atlantis in that region. Many of these planes were never seen or heard from again, and didn't ...
Michael Parenti hilariously on Paradigms & Perceptions Noted progressive author, lecturer, and professor, Dr. Michael Parenti, delivered a sharp, insightful talk on empire, perception, and representation at Antioch University in Seattle(2007). Parenti's key point in this excerpt is the process of decontextualization — and how so much of the dominant paradigm maintenance of empire occurs through a decontextualized representation that strips our perception of the current situation of its historical (and, I would add, geospatial) context.
Bruce Lipton - Biology of Perception 1 of 7 first in a two part series with rob Williams of psych-k. (if anyone has the part with R. williams please post it!) 'the bottom line is, genes do NOT control our biology, that an assumption made years ago that was never even proven scientifically - it just seemed so correct that we bought the story ... if the mechanism actually worked according to the textbooks, ie. if the genes control biology, then at least 120000 genes would be required to make a human. but when the human genome projects results were in, ... it was discovered that 2/3rds of the genes (needed to support their model) were missing. Its not that the genes were missing, it was the understanding that was wrong. "We have to come to a new way of understanding biology. This 'new' understanding has actually already been in the leading edge of science for 10 years now. It takes at least 10 or 15 years for science to take a fact from its first inception and get it out into the public so that the people can understand it. That means anything in current textbooks is at least 10 or 15 years old. what your going to hear tonight is whats going to be the future textbooks. The Extrasensory perception of plants BBC Supernatural, This is an extract from the episode that talks about extrasensory perceptions(of plants and animals. In the study of plant physiology, plant perception is a term used to describe mechanisms by which plants recognize changes in the environment. Examples of stimuli which plants perceive and can react to include chemicals, gravity, light, moisture, infections, temperature, oxygen and carbon dioxide concentrations, parasite infestation, physical disruption, and touch. Plants have a variety of means to detect such stimuli and a variety of reaction responses or behaviors. Generally plant perception occurs on a cellular level and its concomitant reactive behavior is mediated by phytochromes, kinins, hormones, antibiotic or other chemical release, changes of water and chemical transport, and other means. These responses are generally slow, taking at minimum a number of hours to accomplish and seen best with time-lapse cinematography, however rapid movements can occur. Research published in September 2006 has shown, certainly in the case of Arabidopsis thaliana, the role of cryptochromes in the perception of magnetic fields by plants. In the study of paranormal phenomenon Plant perception, or biocommunication in plant cells, has come to mean a belief that plants are sentient, that they experience pain, pleasure, or emotions such as fear and affection, and that they have the ability to communicate with humans and other forms of life in a recognizable manner ...

Perception.mov Nigeria, a multi-cultural/multi-ethnic society has three major ethnic groups; Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba. These three ethnic groups characterize the three major regions of the country (North, East and West), thus defining the behaviours and outlooks of life of the people. The diversities of these three languages has made it possible for each to have its own perceptions about the others thereby creating a mixture of perceptions that is very important in defining the picture and story of the Nigerian nationhood and the struggle of its people to understand their differences for better co-existence and respect for each other.

Perception - The reality beyond matter Science is a story written by installments over time, and since so much information gets updated these days, I one day found myself wondering... What is "reality"? Is matter all that is real? One thing is for sure - change. That might seem like a silly question given how we use our senses to interact with 'reality' everyday, but I have since arrived at ideas which I am comfortable with regarding these questions (although Im still curious). So heres some questions to play with - play nicely :-) If I had to point to where my idea or concept of reality is maintained, Id be pointing to my head - how about you? Is all this environmental information just vibrational energies which are presented to our body and then decoded to form a perception in the brain according to our programs and patterns? ie: Do we subconsciously 'read' or filter this data then build an experience that seems real? Can I get outside of my experience to prove anything is fact or real, or is reality bound to ones experience like the fabric to the shirt? What of the realities I have when I dream, - my body still responds as if they are real, so what is reality? If I am not the cause (creator) of my experience; the director of my focus of attention on some level whether awake or asleep, am I controlled by something else? And if I am completely controlled by something other than me, what then is the purpose of my life? I wish you all - many pleasant realities. Pete.

Perceptions of the Disabled Here's what I said: I tried speaking in this video but I had too much to say and it ran over 10 minutes. So, I have to use my communication device. I've noticed that some people don't consider me to be "normal." If you really think about the word "normal," you'll realize that there is no clear cut definition; it's very subjective. You're idea of "normal" is most likely completely different from mine. I don't consider myself not to be "normal" just because I have Cerebral Palsy and I require assistance to perform daily activities. I see myself as a 21 year old who attends college just like any non-disabled person my age does. When most people see me, they only see the differences between them and I and they automatically feel sorry for me, which I simply do not understand. They don't see me, as a person, they only see my disability. They assume that I have the intelligence of a two year old and/or that I'm miserable because I have a disability. Neither of which are true. I'm in no way unintelligent because I have a disability. I'm not sick and I don't wish to be cured. There is no cure for Cerebral Palsy and it doesn't shorten a person's lifespan. I am perfectly happy with the way I am. I'm not just saying that to appear strong, I truly mean it. I've had Cerebral Palsy all my life and I will have it for the rest of my life and I'm okay with that. I went to a K-12 school for kids with all different kinds of physical disabilities. Attending that school made me thankful for ...
