The Utopia of a Mother***er - SvR2011 Bumpvideo Tired of seeing ***ty Smackdown vs Raw 11 so called 'bumpvideos' ? Worry no longer, cuz I have arrived. This year, the game's big feature are the *** physics. With the new type of freedom they allow, you'd expect a fresh wave of bumpvideos emerging along. If this wave has come to life, it isn't without forgetting about quality. I'll cut it. These new bumpvideos disappointed me badly. All they have to show are always the same type of spots, with the same already made moves repeated over and over on just changing weapons. I don't know about you, but I don't find anything interesting in a repetitive squashfest. The wit, the particularity, the creativity and all the work you knew was concentrated in bumpvideos suddendly became obsolete once the easiness of bashing through stuff reached within the capacity of any yokel out there. Before the game's release, I saw this threat approaching from miles away. As usual, the SVR community fell into it like the bunch of idiots they predominantly are. In the end, I think physics killed the bump. People now settle down for linear gameplay sequences they sloppily string together and call the whole a bumpvideo. Them calling such worthless productions a bumpvideo -- it makes me sick. Sure, Daanesh's vid made an impression for instance, but the reason behind it is evident. He got the game earlier therefore could use the cool moves before everyone else, who would then do the same. That doesn't reflect talent. Besides, viewers didn't come ...
OTO Machines Biscuit demo with Korg R3 I demo of some of the sounds the biscuit is capable of making or modifying. The R3 is the sound source in this video - it is producing a very, very basic patch - 1 saw oscillator, amp. no envelopes, no filter, nothing like that. Basically, this little box is amazing, every thing about is brilliant. The filter (especially high pass) sounds particularity good in my opinion. Sorry about the terrible video quality, but I made up for it with good audio :D
Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius ~ Forever with me - Stage 2 (Tokimeki Memorial stage) Stage 2 of Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius ~ Forever with me (PS1), played by me. This stage is the home parody of the famous Dating Sim Tokimeki Memorial, and one of the main reasons why I searched so hard for such a rare game as Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius and bought it when I finally found it. :p It's been more than one year since I last played a shooter (Thunder Force 4, on Megadrive), so I played this stage on the lowest level. Sue me. T_T I'm also using Twinbee as a player character. This stage has an interesting particularity : via a code, the BGM, an instrumental piece of work, named "The Tokimeki People's Dance" (ときめき人の踊り Tokimeki Jin no Odori), is replaced by a vocal version of it. This song is named "Days Of The Dream's Colors" (夢色の毎日, Yumeiro no Mainichi), and is sung by Mami Kingetsu, who's, for the reference, Tokimeki Memorial 1's main heroine Shiori Fujisaki 's voice actor. For this vid, I used said code, which is, for the Playstation version, the following. Localization Fusing GPS and a Vertical Laser This video presents a localization strategy for vehicles in urban environments by mapping and updating natural landmarks provided by a 2D ladar (laser range scanner) when GPS data is unavailable or has a too poor quality because of multi-tracks or bad satellite visibility. The method relies on an approach that takes profit of successive passages in the same area. From the modeling point of view, a particularity of the method is due to the use of sidewalk edges (linear landmarks) which implies the management of topological connections. Real experiments carried out in real conditions prove the feasibility of this approach.
Mark Unno - Shin Buddhism in Interreligious Dialogue: A World of Teaching and Learning Webcast sponsored by the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre and hosted by the UBC Buddhism and Contemporary Society Program. Based on the religious thought of Shinran Shonin, the founder of Shin Buddhism, the largest sect of Japanese Buddhism, this presentation explores the world of religious dialogue. Specifically, how can one understand the particularity of religious thought within the larger scope of religious diversity. Through examining case studies of teaching and learning, one can begin to see how Shin Buddhism provides a way to appreciate differences among religious perspectives while also finding common ground. Professor Unno is currently Assistant Professor of East Asian Religions at the University of Oregon, specializing in Japanese Buddhism. He is also an ordained Shin Buddhist priest. He received his PhD in Buddhist Studies from Stanford University in 1994, and has since taught at Brown Univesrity, Carleton College, and Kyoto University. He has published and lectured on Pure Land Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, and Psychology of Religion. SmallLuxGPU v1.0 (OpenCL) SmallLuxGPU is a test on how to introduce GPGPU rendering in Luxrender (). The test has been written using the ATI OpenCL SDK 2.0 on Linux with a Q6600 as CPU and an ATI HD4870 as GPU. The idea is to use the GPGPU only for ray intersections in order to minimize the amount of the brand new code to write and to not loose any of the functionality already available in Luxrender. In order to test this idea, I wrote a very simplified path tracer and ported Luxrender's BVH accelerator to OpenCL. The path integrator has the particularity to work on a huge set (ie 300000+) of paths at the same time in order to generate a large amount of rays to trace and to keep the GPGPU feed. Oversplits training Attempts to go towards the splits. Deep stretch can go with regular train to over splits. Needs a lot of concentration to feel this extraordinary sensations of confidence with your body, as a great relaxing moment. All this is achieved without pain of course. I'm not used to stretch as far but I surprised myself to manage the three ways, particularity the straddle one which is not s real one in fact, but stretches very deeply the hamstrings.

PS2 Underrated Gem: Downhill Domination This is a series of gameplay vids I'm doing highlighting overlooked games for the PS2. Downhill Domination is essentially SSX on mountain bikes. It captures the same feel. That may make it seem like a ripoff, but it's a very fun game and didn't get the attention it deserved. This game's a blast to play. It's also challenging (as you can see, I've yet to master it myself). I imagine that this is what the Extreme games on the PS 1 would be like if they didn't suck. It's just fast, fun, and furious racing action. With tons of shortcuts, and big jumps to be had. It's not particularity original, but that doesn't keep it from being a blast to play. The music could have been better though. Downhill Domination is only available on the PS2 Note: I don't give a **** what you think of how good I play. We had to reflect about a quotation from Paul Valéry (a french poet): "La peau est ce que nous avons de plus profond" ("skin is the deepest thing we have"). So I decided to make a video about a blind girl who is making a sculpture, for skin is the only real link between the world and the blind people. So this example explains why skin is something so intimate and deep. The particularity of blind people is that they can't figure out "good" things and "bad" things, whereas people who've got eyes are often influenced in their decision by the society. And how society can influence them? By showing them what is good and what is bad! Blind people don't have this influence Touching something allow you to express your own opinion of what it is because the skin can't be influenced. The skin is deep because it allows us to express, for once, our own personality and at this moment we become artist, for art doesn't make a difference between the "good" and the "bad" ALL THE MUSICS BELONG TO THEIR ARTIST AND THEY ARE NOT MINE. Batumi, a Palm Tree Under Snow This short film shows, on the rythms of orientalising Georgian music, a collection of pictures from Batumi in an exceptional moment: under snow. This subtropical harbour of the Black Sea coast in Georgia has one of the hotest climates in the region; nevertheless, the main principle of its climate is humidity. And when, rarely, it gets colder, the suptropical lush vegetation happens to be covered by white powder... Batumi, the capital of Adjara, an autonomous republic whithin Georgia which has the particularity to be traditionnaly inhabited by Georgian muslims, is a fascinating syncretic place: once an strategic russian city, it is now mainly Georgian orthodox and contains mosque, churches of many confessions, synagogue ; it is where west and east meet. The short-film try to show this mixture of influences in a strange snowy context, which strenghthens the weird aspect of this town. Sometimes with pathos, sometimes with humour.

The constant use of 'glissando' signals to the decaying of pitch centered materials, bridging or stretching clearly defined pitch/harmonic elements to their 'complementary' noise objects. Thus, the constant glissandi - seen in the first place as a mere functional attachment linking different musical objects- ends up as the main 'thematic' element of the piece, conferring to it a kind of "sliding stability." These bridges or "intervals" dancing between diverse textural states, or musical objects, can also be linked to the idea of transposition - as in traditional harmony, when the mind tries to 'translate' different aspects of similar sound objects (they somehow "repeat," through contour throughout the piece) in a multitude of states or frequencies. As with my other pieces for acoustic instruments I was also attempting to make sense of the motoric/ergonomic apparatus of the viola, generating two parallel discourses or 'voices' : the first more attuned to the surface materials, their sequence and logical/illogical combination; the second - thought also as a generator of 'secondary thematic' elements - more concerned with purely motoric considerations (ie gestures, fingers' suitability, extended techniques, etc.) Thus, this piece is a superimposition of complex rhythmic materials and motoric patterns that ...

First thing to mention about this stage, its particularity is taht the last boss 3 last spellcards depend on your youkai helper, i used ReimuA in this, which is yukari, so her spellcards are stolen from yukari, first one is deadly butterfly from PCB phantasm, 2nd one is an original i believe, 3rd one is Boundary between Wave and Particle from Shoot the bullet. Bathurst 1986 - A Tribute to Allan Grice Graeme Baily - Soundtrack-BLAKHATZ Motor sport is part of my makeup, I had the privilege in my youth of knowing and watching some of the greatest touring car drivers ever to surface on a racetrack, namely Allan Grice, Dick Johnson Kevin Bartlett and of course the legendary Peter Brook. I found myself always defending the privateers, other words the guys who didn't have factory backing. Allan Grice Dick Johnson Kevin Bartlett became my childhood hero's, particularity "Gricey", I just knew with the right combination, guys like Les Small and numerous others that helped Alan Grice like Graeme Baily would win Bathurst, the now world famous touring car endurance race. For years I trudged to the mountain 17 times, and my day had finally arrived. This video is first in a series to show how a non factory backed driver can win the great race. For me one of the best days in my life. Allan Grice showed the world what I always knew he could do. Youtube Relationships (Insights welcome) This is a bit of rambling on the role of privacy or confidentiality in establishing particular relationships and how, without that capacity, some notion of "Entertaining," as suggested by Fred, seems built into the structure of "the 'youtube community.'"
FF9 Tetra Master 1700 Points I tried to make a perfect deck of Tetra Master in FF9 and this video shows one by one the cards of a deck with 1700 Points. As you will see later on the video, there is a bug in the player rank level showing an "Do you want to throw this card?" and i think it is the same in all the other european versions(i reached 1700 points in both french and german versions many times). The particularity of this deck is that it has 540 Arrows in total of all Cards : As you know you need 100 different combinations of Arrows out of the 256 combinations the game offers, i chose the 100 combinations with the highest ammount of Arrows : the "8 Arrows" card, all the 8 "7 Arrows combinations", all the 28 "6 Arrows combinations", all the 56 "5 Arrows combinations", and 7 cards with 7 combinations from the 70 "4 Arrows combinations". So it has a total of 540 Arrows(1(8) + 8(7) + 28(6) + 56(5) +7(4)). The second particularity is that i chose the best cards for the best combinations of Arrows, by the best cards i mean the cards with the best total of cards stats(Attack, Physical Defence and Magical Defence in "Card Battles".).So the Nova Dragon Card has 8 Arrows because the total of its stats when added is the highest(236(E) for Attack + 125(7) for Physical Defence + 194(c) for Magical Defence = 555 for Total) while the frog card with a Total of 6(2+2+2) is considered as the weakest card and it must have an "4 Arrows combinations".
