  • Achron Alpha Demo 4 Grandfather Paradox Read more about it at: This video is from an Alpha version of Achron. Read the full transcript for this video below. This is the 'Grandfather Paradox' demo video of Achron, the world's first Meta-Time Strategy game - a Real Time Strategy game where players and units can jump to and play at different times simultaneously and independently. Read the FAQ here It's recommended to watch this video in full screen Full Transcript: This is a demonstration of how Achron's game engine, Resequence, handles the Grandfather paradox. For this video, we have specifically tuned time waves and build times to make the Grandfather paradox easy to show quickly. Remember that paradoxes like this are rare in actual gameplay unless you cause them intentionally. In this demo you will see the oscillations of both outcomes of the paradox on the timeline and on the field. We begin by creating a mech with the factory - note the green on the timeline shows when the mech was created. We now send this mech to before it was created - The yellow on the timeline denotes chronoporting. We create the paradox by destroying the factory with the mech - The red on the timeline shows the destruction of the factory. As you look at the timeline, you see that each subsequent timewave grabs the previous change and propagates it forward. Now that the factory is destroyed in the past, the mech can no longer be created. Since the mech was no longer created, it could not travel back in ...

  • Could Zeno's paradoxes be linked to quantum mechanics? Could the infinities of quantum electrodynamics be the same infinities that form Zeno's Paradoxes? This video will explain the idea that we have Zeno's paradoxes because there is something fundamentally wrong with our understanding of the structure of space and time. This forms a problem that runs through the whole of human mathematic. That starts with the discovery of irrational numbers in ancient Greece and forms infinities at the base of Newton calculus. It can also be seen at the heart of Cantor's set theory and as a paradox in his continuum hypothesis. Quantum electrodynamics also suffers from the same problem of infinities that has never been properly solved. There is also the measurement problem of quantum physics that has no logical explanation. All this can only be explained by a fundamental change in our concept of space and time.

  • Quantum Mechanics The Twin Paradox an artist view chapter 7 of 8 This video is an artist interpretation on the Twin Paradox and Quantum Mechanics. Understanding time is the key to understanding the paradoxes of Quantum Mechanics. Because time dilation is very difficult to visualize I have used diagrams, drawings and oil painting in this video. Every object in our Universe will create its own time and space by collapsing the light waves of electromagnetic radiation into new photons of energy that will have their own position in space and time that never existed before the wave function collapse. Because the observer can choose when and where to collapse the wave function we have free will to create our own future. This has nothing to do with the consciousness of the observer. Even a childs toy spinning top will create its own spacetime geometry relative to its position and momentum. Read more at,

  • HH Dalai Lama's poem - The Paradox of Our Age ---------------------- The Paradox of Our Age: Film Review We are headed towards a morally bankrupt world wherein our ethical intelligence lay suffocated and confused. Equation of time to money, man to machine and life to a sullen burden, mark our postmodern era. The ruthlessness of our world accentuated by heedlessness of our conscience, batters our souls to weightless dusts. And scarcely do we receive a Nietzschean hammer that questions and uproots our insipid ways of lives. In this short, yet insightful four minutes film, The Paradox of Our Age; directed and edited by a Tibetan filmmaker, Thupten N. Chakrishar, precisely performs this Nietzschean chore. He had established himself as the frontrunner amongst Tibetan contemporary filmmakers with the helming debut of his critically acclaimed documentary film, Following Kunsel, this short film exhibits his brilliant hybridization of poetic sensibility with celluloid aestheticism. The Paradox of Our Age, is a visual adaptation from a poem written by HH the 14th Dalai Lama. In this film, Thupten was able to create a meditative piece through the concomitant of poem and cinematic magic. Each footage becomes an epigram with no vestigial shots. The skillful intertwining of semiotic attributions to the powerfully versed poem accentuate the elegance of the project. The majestic and graceful prayer-voice of HH the Dalai Lama accompanied by a serene panoramic scene of twilight initiate the film. Thereafter the ...

  • Zeno's Paradox - Achilles versus the Tortoise A film made for my Philosophy of Logic class presentation at Canterbury University. Zeno has several paradoxes. In this one, Achilles and the Tortoise have a race. The Tortoise has a head start. When Achilles runs to where the Tortoise USED to be, the Tortoise has already moved to the next point (half the distance away). However, by the time Achilles reaches where the Tortoise is, the Tortoise has moved on again by a tiny amount. In this way the Tortoise stays ahead by increasingly smaller amounts and Achilles never catches the Tortoise.
  • back to the future paradox explained Ordinary" 1985 is replaced by "alternate" 1985; If so, Doc as well as Marty should have gone out of existence since they come from ordinary 1985 Why didn't that happen? A possible answer to the paradox relies on the so called "Time-Continuum Lag" hypothesis The disruption of time-continuum brings about a new events sequence allowing it a time lag to become the actual one Marty's brother is going to be erased from existence after Marty's interference in his parents' first encounter Then his sister as well as Marty himself the disruption of time-continuum affects events sequence just after an interval of time in which the two events sequences apparently coexist during that interval of time future hasn't been written yet and the two events sequences are similarly going to happen unless a certain event - the boiling point - suddently comes about and time-continuum is c***ized into a single pathway
  • Quantum Atom Theory, Paradoxes of Quantum Mechanics Explained The paradoxes of Quantum Mechanics will not make sense until we have a fundamental understanding of time. Because of this I have been working on my owntheory called Quantum Atom Theory that can explain the time continuum or arrow of time. In Quantum Atom Theory time is being created by the atoms themselves in a very simple process. Using photons of light and electrons combined with wave-particle duality. Because the time continuum is very difficult to visualize I have used diagrams, drawings and oil painting in this video. In this theory we can see a World in a Grain of Sand and a Heaven in a Wild Flower, Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand and Eternity in an hour, just as William Blake said. But on a more scientific level this theory can unite Quantum Mechanics and Classical Mechanics giving us one universal law of physics. Read more at,
