The Atlas-Sahara mountains are a 400km long string of spined ranges that form the frontier between Tunisia and neighbouring Algeria. Although I'd heard of them and am pretty good with my geography, if you'd asked me before now I wouldn't have been able to point to them on a map. Here they are though and despite being quite low-lying (averaging less than 1000 metres in height) they are quite beautiful due to their very unusual geology. The ragged peaks actually look like the spine of some giant dinosaur fossil laid sideways, evidence of some serious tectonic activity eons ago... Back to reality, three of us (two Japanese and I) jumped into the 4WD and shortly after we were in dromaderie country again. They're everywhere out here, so much so that large signs warn motorists of the danger at very regular intervals much like those found in country Australia warning of kangaroos. Think I'd prefer to hit a kangaroo than a dromaderie, and for some strange reason I prefer the word dromaderie - it has a grace and bearing to it that 'camel' just doesn't convey. Whatever, the Japanese guys were pretty happy when not long after they spotted their first 'ships of the desert' and ...

The tour takes us from the Mediterranean Sea along the fantastic beaches of the Atlantic coastline to Marrakech. Over the mountain ranges of the "High Atlas", past the canyons of Todra and Dades we encounter Morocco's largest sand dune region, the Erg Chebbi. We will spend two days in the sand dunes, just enough time to explore the secrets of the desert. Leaving the desert behind us, we cross the "Middle Atlas" and head via Midelt and Fes to Chefchaouen. In Ceuta we leave the African continent and return to the starting point of our journey. The tour offers complete motorcycling pleasure on small, winding mountain roads with stunningly beautiful scenery. The roads throughout the entire route are asphalted. Off-road detours are possible on request and according to riding ability. The comfort of a 3* to 4* hotel awaits us after negotiating the mountain and desert stages of the tour.

Kins Oases vision by Aug 2008 We were doing market stalls at Petrie markets to promote our Kins Oases vision. We had decided to go to the Ringing Cedars conference in Istanbul in Oct 2008 and need to send a video outlining our Ringing Cedars journey/vision and about ourselve for presentation/sharing. However Radha felt there was something else coming up for us and sure enough Leonid Sharashkin was to give his first workshop in Australia at Crystal Waters which was just down the road from us. That then lead us to Ukerbarley and Coonabarabran NSW Australia and so on. We are conjointly creating our space of love while on our journey Home on Earth. I have no video editing tool so have had to upload the end of this video where the camera was still running and we did not know.
