Each time cycle has three components, sristhti or creation, sthithi or continuation and laya or dissolution. They are under the control of the trinity namely Brahma, Vishnu and Siva. We can see the same divisions in a day also, In life we see them as childhood, adulthood and oldage. The Hindu calculation of time comes to us from the sage Ganita. He calculated the duration of each cycle in human years. He divided the cosmic time into Kalpas of 8.64 trillion years each, which is a day and night in the time and space of Brahman. Each kalpa is further divided into 100 mahayugas. Each mahayuga is again divided into four yugas namely Krita yuga, Treta yuga, Dwapara yuga and Kali yuga. Their duration vary. Krita is the longest and kali yuga the shortest. A day in the life of gods is equal to a year upon earth. It is divided into a day and night, known as uttarayana and dakshninayana. Nuclear Weapons Damage Simulation I found a neat little tool that lets you show the blast radius of nuclear weapons superimposed on a google map at I did a few simulations, namely of a 100 ton nuclear demolition charge, a 22 kiloton implosion bomb, a 400 kiloton thermonuclear bomb, a 1.6 megaton hydrogen bomb, and the "Queen Mother of Nuclear Weapons", the Tsar Bomba. All of them detonated at the base of the Washington Monument in Washington DC. I also tried to flesh out the results a bit by explaining the damage to various buildings around, and adding video of the respected bombs being tested. I also used for music some Gustav Holtz, namely the Mars and Jupiter symphonies. They just seemed appropriate. I'm sorry about the damned computer voice, I have to microphone, so this is the closest I can get to narration. Tell me what you think.

To provide the troops the real feel of battle ground, the troops have been divided into two groups, namely Blue Land and Fox Land with the former as defendant and the latter as adversary. A Heavy Anti-Tank battalion of Blue Land demonstrated the Dispersal Techniques in Cholistan desert sector and demonstrated the capabilities operating Armored Personnel Carrier (APC). Other supporting units including Tanks, Infantry, Artillery Guns, Anti-Aircraft, Engineers, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Signals and others are also actively taking part in the exercises. Capping it Out - Tribes 2 Teamwork This video demonstrates the teamwork that goes on during organized capping runs in the game Tribes 2, where the flag matters more than the efforts of any one player. It was inspired mostly by the T2 videos Madskills and The Life of a Capper, both of which made me want to hop back into the game after seven years of absence. The video was created to help show others the experience Tribes 2 can offer, though it may have come out in 2001, few games today get close to massive 96vs96 matches that were played with huge team management. Most of the footage was recorded from Elite Warriors Online (EwO) Friday Night Fights matches during February and April of 2009. Tribes 2 is now available for free via TribesNext, though many random matches won't be as co-ordinated as the Rebels, Elite Warriors Online, and Agents matches shown in the video. Why I disagree with thunderf00t I did not have as much time to make this video as I would have liked. So let me expand on the arguments that I am seeking to advance. In order to understand thunderf00t's latest videos (and whether you should support them) I think that it is necessary to understand the message that he was seeking to convey. In my view the message was one of free speech and the refusal to be intimidated by threats. If I am right in that then, in my view the videos were successful. I think that a lot of people were upset or disappointed with them because they did not follow his normal style. I agree, they don't. I would also agree that it is not a style that I am comfortable with. Further, I do not think that he expressed his message (namely that he would not be intimidated into relinquishing his rights to free speech under the duress of threats) was expressed as clearly as it could. That said, I fully support (what I consider to be) the underlying message, namely, we will not be intimidated into silence by threats. If there is any specific comment that he made in any of his recent videos that you disagree with then please say so. I will seek to address them, although, despite some people's opinion, I do not speak for thunderf00t.

To the best of my knowledge, very little information is available about the origins or pedigree of this video clip, other than it carried a brief description when it was originally posted that stated the footage was "Captured with a digital camera along highway 41 near Lemoore, CA. September 11th, 2009." The original video was posted on Youtube on September 14th, 2009, but has since apparently been removed and the user's account has apparently been deleted. Because this video footage has no pedigree information whatsoever supporting it, I am certainly in no way, shape, or form vouching for it's authenticity here. All I have done is taken a raw copy of the 16 seconds worth of footage and applied "Image Stabilization/Shake Reduction" and some other rudimentary enhancement techniques to it in an effort to improve the viewability of the scene. In these motion-corrected examples, I elected to use portions of the power/utility pole located in the foreground as the target feature to match and mount each successive frame of raw footage to.
