Maya 2012 series: Misconceptions 2012 & Understanding Maya Calendar (part 1/2) | Carl Johan Calleman Does the Maya Calendar predicits the end of the world in 2012? What do the maya say about 2012? The Mayan calendar is associated with nine creation cycles, which represent nine levels of consciousness or Underworlds as symbolized by the Mayan pyramids. This pyramidal structure of consciousness development can explain things as disparate as the common origin of world religions and the modern complaint that time seems to be moving faster. Time, in fact, is speeding up as we transition from the materialist Planetary Underworld that still governs us to a new and higher frequency of consciousness, the Galactic Underworld, in preparation for the final Universal level of conscious Enlightenment. The Mayan calendar is thus a spiritual device that enables a greater understanding of the evolution of consciousness driving human history and the concrete steps we can take to align ourselves with this cosmic evolution toward Enlightenment. Motionless In White - "Immaculate Misconception" Official Music Video Official "Immaculate Misconception" music video. Directed by Cody Blue Snider, video features Dee Snider of Twisted Sister and Megan Massacre of NY Ink. MESSAGE FROM CHRIS MOTIONLESS: The main idea and main concern of mine was to basically parallel the 2 time periods of our band and all the open minded people in the world's present day life and the time period of Jesus' life and show how similar they are. I wanted to highlight the hypocrisy and hold a mirror up to all the self righteous, Holier-than-thou people and show them how full of *** they are. We have our own beliefs and we aren't afraid to speak out about them, We are not satanists, We have a positive message towards finding self-worth and inner peace, We don't discriminate against ANYONE regardless of the way they look, their faith, ***uality, or race, and believe it or not, I have a tremendous amount of respect for Jesus Christ. Yet despite all these very moral and positive vibes, we are still constantly ripped apart for being who we are. Sounds really similar to what happened to the man the people that criticize us put all their faith in. The difference between myself and Jesus is that he was trying to convince people to believe in him and a higher power (God) to find salvation... Whereas *I'M* trying to convince people to believe in themselves. God does not control your life, YOU do. My band and Myself are 100% completely aware that NOT ALL Christians or followers of any religion are close minded and do the ...

Misconceptions Trailer Misconceptions pokes fun at the ongoing battle between LGBT people and religious conservatives. Wrapping a conciliatory message in comedy, writer Ira Pearlstein and director Ron Satloff convincingly show that there are many people on each side of the issue who mean well. Miranda Bliss (AJ Cook) receives a message from God instructing her to carry a child for two gay men. Parker (David Sutcliffe), Mirandas husband, is oblivious to the fact that his wife is having morning sickness, maybe because he is too busy attending anti-gay-marriage rallies, or maybe because the two have been sleeping in separate beds for the last five years. Terry (Orlando Jones), the more flamboyant of the gay couple, comes to visit Miranda in her small southern town. Parker thinks Terry is interviewing for a job with his wifes Christian catering businessbut then why is Terry trying to buy Miranda a new mattress? When it becomes clear that the dancer/choreographer (who didnt forget his sewing machine and bolts of chiffon!) wants to micro-manage the pregnancy and has no intention of leaving, the craziness begins. While this comical film pokes fun at the Religious Right, it also raises some serious issues about marriage, adoption and the art of baking pies! -- Dudley Best

Misconceptions About Falling Objects If you drop a heavy object and a light object simultaneously, which one will reach the ground first? A lot of people will say the heavy object, but what about those who know both will land at the same time? What do they think? Some believe both objects have the same gravitational pull on them and/or both fall to the ground with the same constant speed. Neither of these things is true, however. The force is greater on the heavy object and both objects accelerate at the same rate as they approach the earth, ie they both speed up but at the same rate.
