Wild Arms 3 - Migratory Birds ~ Wandering Bird Scoundrels [Extended w/ DL Link] Before we begin, I would like to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for my life, and all the gifts which I've been given in it, including the ability to make this extension. Your name be glorified, my Savior, even in something as small as this. Amen. MP3 Link: WA3 Extensions Folder: Saddle up, viewers! Amateur Extension Theater 2000 is blazing a trail through the dry and weary wastelands of Filgaia, and you're invited to join the adventure. Here's your travel-worn host, Alkahest Smithy. (Points to those who know what that means.) Developed by Media.Vision and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, Wild Arms 3 (Wild Arms Advanced 3rd in Japan) follows the adventures of the idealistic Virginia Maxwell, as she heads out into the barren wastes of Filgaia. Meaning only to prove herself as a Drifter, adventurers who travel on wings like a migratory bird through the wasteland, Virginia soon finds herself drawn into a journey that will reveal secrets of the bygone ages, leading to conflict with rival drifters, false prophets, and a terrifying Blue Menace... Ah, the WA3 overworld map theme. Certainly one of the finest in the series, and with a distinctive Morricone-flavor for which Michiko Naruke is well known. The unusually long track title refers to Migrant Bird Scoundrels, those daring men and women who travel the world in search of adventure, treasure, and ... well, mostly just treasure. For some reason, the English translation renders them as ...
California - Tule Lake Migratory Bird Refuge Psalms by the Lake. From my trip on June 2, 2009. Sorry for the jittery camera - it's VERY hard to hold it still when getting tight close-ups. Tule Lake is an intermittent lake covering an area of 13000 acres (53 km2), 5 mile (8.0 km) long and 3 miles (4.8 km) across, in northeastern Siskiyou County, California, along the border with Oregon. It is fed by the Lost River. Tule Lake was the crucible for Japanese American resistance to internment during World War II, where thousands of Japanese Americans met America's betrayal of their hopes and dreams with anger, defiance and rejection. Tule Lake was the largest and most controversial of the ten War Relocation Authority WRA camps used to carry out the governments system of exclusion and detention of persons of Japanese descent, mandated by Executive Order 9066. The Order, which eliminated the constitutional protections of due process and violated the Bill of Rights, was issued February 19, 1942 following Japans attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Two-thirds of the 120000 persons of Japanese descent incarcerated in American concentration camps were American citizens, an act that culminated decades of anti-Japanese violence, discrimination and propaganda. The lake is located 1.5 (2.4 km) southwest of the town of Tulelake and is part of the Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge and the Klamath Project. The Tule Lake War Relocation Center, a Japanese American internment camp, is located to the east in ...
