COALESCE "Harvest Of Maturity" From the album In Tongues We Speak "I've met that point in my life. Want came to need. Burn these fields of corn, that surround. My harvest gone at the price of maturity. But these remains I've left to rot will be resurrected again and again by the next generation of children who want to change minds with the stain on hand. But, it's deeper than this, I'm not the only one who sees, it lies in diversity; acceptance to a degree, only to a degree. The fire that once occupied my eyes has spread to destroy this world I have grown. You have nothing new to scream beyond your fields and not a second of patience to learn from me the same. This time I harvest the crops of my past. As far as the demigods are concerned, I've sold myself out just the same. I've burned bridges to feign brothers. Brothers of nothing more than a simple label. So now, I'm in control after all, for myself I prove I still am. But within these fields, they'll say I never was."
The Victim Mentality as the enemy of spiritual growth and maturity Though very popular in our culture, the Victim Mentality is in fact a spiritual killer, depriving us of hope and leading us to stagnation and imprisonment. Spiritual development requires that we see God's infinite help for us and that the worst thing we can do is dwell on the problems of the past.

From Surface to Source & the Gold Standard for Spiritual Maturity ~ Shinzen Young Shinzen talks about working with Feel, Image and Talk from the surface to source, with successive deepenings bringing about insights into no-self as thing, impermanence, and the eventual deepening into the Divine Nothingness, which is talked about in various ways in the contemplative core of all religions. He then shares the "gold standard" of mature spirituality - the complementary nature of "seeing through the self and world, and improving the self and world". Filmed in Nov. 2009 at Mt. Carmel Spiritual Centre in Niagara Falls.

What is Maturity?
MATURITY (OSHO Meditation Minutes) OSHO International Foundation - MATURITY A grown-up person is one who does not imitate, who starts feeling his own way, who starts being in his own way, who starts looking into his nature: "Who am I? Listen to your being. It is continuously giving you hints; it is a still, small voice. It does not shout at you, that is true. And if you are a little silent you will start feeling your way. Be the person you are. Never try to be another, and you will become mature. Maturity is accepting the responsibility of being oneself, whatsoever the cost. Risking all to be oneself, that's what maturity is all about. If you imitate you will again and again fall into a ditch because whatsoever you imitate never fits reality. Reality is continuously changing, it is a flux, nothing is ever the same. It is a river; it goes on flowing. Immature, you remain asleep. Mature, you become awake.

5 Minutes Bible Study - Maturity By Dr. Harold Sala The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge; the ears of the wise seek it out. Proverbs 18:15 "Maturity," says the Merriam Webster dictionary, "is the condition, or state, of being fully developed." However, the word is often used so loosely that it flaps like a kid's shirttail in the breeze. Michael Drury says, "If you are mature, you are presumed to be happy, secure, married, well liked and something called adjusted. If you aren't mature, you are incorrigible, defective or warped—and heaven help you." Newspaper columnist Ann Landers defined maturity as follows: "Maturity is patience. It is the willingness to give up immediate pleasure in favor of the long term gain. Maturity is perseverance, the ability to sweat out a project or a situation in spite of heavy opposition and discouraging setbacks. Maturity is the capacity to face unpleasantness and frustration, discomfort and defeat, without complaint or collapse. Maturity is humility. It is being big enough to say, I was wrong. And when right, the mature person need not experience the satisfaction of saying, I told you so. Maturity is the ability to make a decision and stand by it. The immature spend their lives exploring endless possibilities, then they do nothing. Maturity means dependability keeping one's word coming through in a crisis. The immature are masters of the alibi. They are the confused and disorganized. Their lives are a maze of broken promises, former friends, unfinished business and ...

The Hold Steady - Soft In The Center From the new album Heaven Is Whenever. Lyrics: Well, the hospital's gonna let you go, but the scene is gonna stick around. Yeah, sure the stars in the sky but the money's still down on the ground. (??) Then I might tell you something new. You can't tell people what they want to hear if you also want to tell the truth. And I'm just trying to tell the truth, kid. I'm just trying to tell the truth. You can't get every girl. You get the ones you love the best. You won't get every girl. You love the ones you get the best. Nobody's wanna freeze over I'm from a place with lots of lakes but sometimes they get soft in the center and the center is a dangerous place. It's been a long, cold winter and now you're standing on unsafe ice. But you can probably do anything if you could just go and get yourself right. You gotta get yourself right, kid. I'm gonna give you some advice. You can't get every girl. You get the ones you love the best. You won't get every girl. You love the ones you get the best. Kid, you can't kiss every girl. You gotta trust me on this one. You gotta trust me on this one. I know what you're going through. I had to go through that, too. I know what you're going through. I had to go through that, too. You can't' get every girl. You get the ones you love the best. You won't get every girl. You love the ones you get the best. You can't get every girl. You get the ones you love the best. Callable Bonds / Yield to Maturity Callable bond is a type of bond that allows the issuer of the bond to retain the privilege of redeeming the bond at some point before the bond reaches the date of maturity. In other words, on the call dates, the issuer has the right, but not the obligation, to buy back the bonds from the bond holders at the call price. Technically speaking, the bonds are not really bought and held by the issuer but cancelled immediately. Call price will usually exceed the par or issue price. In certain cases, mainly in the high-yield debt market, there can be a substantial premium. See there for more details. The issuer has an option, for which he pays in the form of a higher coupon rate. If interest rates in the market have gone down at the time of the call date, the issuer will be able to refinance his debt at a cheaper level and so will call the bonds. Another way to look at it is that as interest rates have gone down, the price of the bond has gone up. Therefore, it is advantageous to buy the bonds back at the par value. What this means exactly is that a callable bond will always be sold at the highest price but to the most prominent bidder. The issue regarding the bond will almost always result in detrimental circumstances for the parties involved in the merger or acquisition of the bond. The investor has the benefit of a higher coupon than he would have had with a straight, non-callable bond. On the other hand, if interest rates go down, the bonds get called, and he can only ...
