B lymphocyte Immune System Lession 2 B lymphocytes (B cells) remain in the bone marrow until they are mature and then spread throughout the body concentrating in lymph nodes and the spleen. Each B cell, when matures, gains the ability to make just one type of antibody molecule. Part of each antibody forms a protein receptor, which can combine specifically with one type of antigen.

Immune System - Natural Killer Cell - The Formulation ______ _______ Natural Killer Cells are the most aggressive white cells in the immune system. They make up about 5% to 15% of the total lymphocyte circulating population. They target tumor cell and protect against a wide variety of infectious microbes. Natural Killer Cells are a very important factor in the fight against cancer. The Formulation is made up of 13 all natural components, which promote 3 anti-cancer activities Anitangiogenesis, Antioxidation, and Immune Stimulation. Immune Stimulation is the key to keeping the white blood cell count high and giving the Natural Killer Cells a chance to fight cancer and other diseases. Fighting HIV with Microcurrents (Bob Beck) 1/5 This very slight and mild electrification of your blood does not kill any viruses or harm normal blood cells. Instead, the minute currents appear to alter and inhibit the ability of the outer protein layer of the virus to attach to lymphocytes (reverse transcriptase process). This blocks the binding of the HIV virus with the host cell (Thymic-T lymphocyte; CD4 T-helper cells) so the virus is thought in effect to be neutralized, immobilized and eventually eliminated from the body. Rate of recovery is the product of current intensity multiplied by time of exposure. (Kaali; with Lyman and Merkatz; 1994 paper.) This communication describes a safe and tested procedure for interrupting HIV reproduction. But you MUST avoid ingesting any medicinal herbs, domestic or oriental, since blood electrification causes electroporation of cell membranes and can thus cause tremendous increase of molecular transport into cells resulting occasionally in extreme and toxic overdosing. Allow one week to eliminate herbs and other medications from body before blood electrification. CoSMoS Lymphocyte Migration Migration models the migration of lymphocytes from the blood system to the lymphatic system. Inside lymph nodes, there are sections of blood vessel called high endothelial venules through which lymphocytes can pass under certain conditions. When a lymphocyte collides with the HEV wall, it may slow down and roll along the wall. If receptors on the lymphocyte are activated during the rolling process, it can pass through the wall and into the lymph node. The diameter of the HEV can vary as the body responds to infection, which may affect the rate of lymphocyte migration. Our simulation models a three-dimensional tubular section of HEV, with lymphocytes either flowing freely through the HEV (green), rolling (red) or migrating (blue). The display may be freely rotated and the HEV diameter adjusted while the simulation is running. Counts are displayed of the number of lymphocytes in each state, and of the number that have passed into the blood and lymphatic systems.

Lymphocytessss A couple of cancer cells meet in a bar, hit it off, fall in love, then get murdered ruthlessly by a lymphocyte. Lymphocytes are a type of leukocyte (white blood cell) that have a dark violet color(when dyed with Wright's stain), and a round nucleus. During infections and immune responses, lymphocytes are more abundant. They have a range of functions that include killing cells infected with viruses and foreign cells. They coordinate actions of other immune cells, secrete antibodies, and serve in immune memory. They are also involved with the ruthless murders of cancerous cells that are in love

By an AS Biology student. Music: Valerie - Mark Ronson & Amy Winehouse (If you don't like the music, just mute it. There's no info through audio :)) thanks! :D I forgot to say about cell signalling with b lympocytes so: Cell signalling is how cells communicate with each other. A cell can release or present a substance that binds to the receptors on another cell which causes a response from the other cell. It's important cause in the immune response it helps to activate all the diff. types of white blood cells that are needed. Eg T lymphocytes release substances that bind to receptors on B lymphocytes which activates the B lymp. - the T lymp. are signalling to the B lymp. that there's a pathogen in the body.

Lymplex Lymph Node Cleansing Part 2 "The transformation of primitive or immature lymphocytes into T-lymphocytes and their proliferation in the lymph nodes is promoted by a thymic hormone called thymosin. Ocassionally the thymus persists and may become cancerous after puberty and and the continued secretion of thymosin and the production of abnormal T-cells may contribute to some autoimmune disorders. Conversely, lack of thymosin may also allow inadequate immunologic surveillance and thymosin has been used experimentally to stimulate T-lymphocyte proliferation to fight lymphoma and other cancers. 4. The spleen: The spleen filters the blood and reacts immunologically to blood-borne antigens. This is both a morphologic (physical) and physiologic process. In addition to large numbers of lymphocytes the spleen contains specialized vascular spaces, a meshwork of reticular cells and fibers, and a rich supply of macrophages which monitor the blood. Connective tissue forms a capsule and trabeculae which contain myofibroblasts, which are contractile. The human spleen holds relatively little blood compared to other mammals, but it has the capacity for contraction to release this blood into the circulation during anoxic stress. White pulp in the spleen contains lymphocytes and is equivalent to other lymph tissue, while red pulp contains large numbers of red blood cells that it filters and degrades. The spleen functions in both immune and hematopoietic ...

Lichen Planopilaris Dr. Diane M. Hoss, MD discusses Lichen Planopilaris. See more at PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT!!! Lichen planopilaris (LPP) is a primary lymphocyte-mediated scarring alopecia of unknown etiology. In this condition, lymphocytes attack the epithelium of the infundibula and isthmus areas of hair follicles and sometimes the interfollicular epidermis. The histologic changes are identical to those seen in lichen pl***, that is, interface changes consisting of bandlike lymphocytic inflammation with necrotic keratinocytes. With time there is perifollicular fibrosis and decreasing inflammation. Sebaceous glands are destroyed. Ultimately hair follicles are also destroyed. The follicular antigen(s) targeted by these lymphocytes are not known.

Skin Cancer Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma Hematology and pathology Dr. Shane Chapman, MD discusses Skin Cancer Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma Hematology and pathology. See more at PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT!!! Mycosis fungoides and the Sezary syndrome are cutaneous T-cell lymphomas. These are characterized by the expansion of a clone of malignant CD4 helper T-cells that have a propensity to home and accumulate in the skin, lymph nodes, and peripheral blood. Confirming the diagnosis of mycosis fungoides is difficult in the early stages of the disease. The clinician will biopsy patch stage lesions and ask the pathologist to rule out MF. The classic features of the disease are usually absent at this stage. Typically a few atypical lymphocytes are seen and the pathologist reports an atypical lymphocytic infiltrate, suspicious for MF. Biopsy in patch-or-plaque stage shows a lymphocytic infiltrate in the superficial dermis, with individual lymphocytes migrating among epidermal keratinocytes. The affinity of the malignant T-cells to migrate to the epidermis is called epidermotropism. The lymphocytes are pleomorphic, hyperchromatic, and have hyperconvoluted nuclei. Staining of skin-biopsy specimens with a panel of lymphocyte markers is used sub classify the clone of cells. Immunohistochemistry and molecular genetics have demonstrated aberrant expression of the T lymphocyte surface antigens. The neoplastic T helper CD4 positive cells show gene rearrangements of the T cell receptors, usually of the alpha receptors. Biopsys taken at ...
