Women's Lower Body Workout This is a workout I came up with for women wanting to focus on their glutes and hamstrings. Make sure you pick a weight that's comfortable enough to perform 12 - 15 reps of each exercise. Men can also do this workout, just add more weight and perform 6 - 8 reps. Here are some tips on performing each exercise: 1. Hip raise - keep feet on swiss ball. Feet together will be harder that feet apart. When you raise your hip up, think of making a straight line from your shoulders to your feet. 2. Kettle Bell Swing - Properly picking up the kettle bell, make sure knees are bent and back is straight when bending over. Reach forward and grab with your fingertips. Pull back and use your hips to thrust forward to perform the swing. 3. Sumo Dead lift - Make sure your back is straight when picking up the barbell as i showed in the video. Feet are more than shoulder width apart and your had positioning should be from 8 - 12 inches apart. 4. Good Morning - Same as dead lift. Make sure your back is straight as I showed in the video. Keep a slight bend in your knees and your back straight when leaning forward. Keep bar on your traps not your neck. 5. Lateral Step - Keep band as close to knees as possible. Follow technique as in the video. 6. Hip Extension - Each leg gets the same amount of reps. Try and keep your back straight and don't lean forward while performing kick back. This track "Lo Fi Epic" was actually composed for the EA Sports Arena Football game in February of 2006 but never saw the light of day, hitting the cutting room floor after a producer nixed it for being "Too Techno" .
