Next we visited Black Dragon Pool Park, a wonderfully serene and quiet park which we wandered around for a while admiring the pools, the park and the mountain views. We took the metro to get to Lantau Island and then took the cable car up to the Giant Buddha. The cable car ride took 25mins and was a great journey in itself. Some of the views from up there were fantastic and often scary! There were then 250 steps upto the Giant Buddha, and I've got to say, it's pretty big to say the least. Even Tricky Ted said Buddhay Hell! We got the cable cars back down again and then went off to Kowloon Park for our free swimming afternoon. We spent about 2 and a half hours in there altogether, little Freddy was getting a wee bit wrinkled! After a laze by the pool, it was necessary to aprtake in a couple of beverages, so a quick visit to the 7-11 on the way back to the hotel helped to meet this requirement. After the cans, and with a bit of a wobble we hit Pizza Hut for a splash out tonight. The funny thing was, whilst you are sat on the second floor of Pizza Hut, you can look straight across the road into the windows of.......a GYM! Made no difference to a fat dude like me, but I could see a few guilty faces in the restaurant as I scanned round. Then I went back to looking through the gym window at the ladies in latex....ooooooo! Whilst I was concentrating on the althletism ...

GUNSHOTS FIRED from 1931 FORD MODEL-A in Sibley Iowa. Deciding to take a leisurely ride in my 71 year old brother in laws Ford Model A, I was surprised, when he pulled out the guns to test them ! Nothing like warning a guy, Ike! Haha. Then we took a leisurely ride around Sibley and to the Sand Pit pond, a favorite place of mine. Ike is really into period machines and this 1931 Ford is no exception.
