Ka-Bar BK2 Becker Companion Knife Review In capsule: A Busse ASH-1 minus the micarta handle for $60.
KaBar Dozier Pocket Knife Review This is a short review of my KaBar Dozier pocket knife that is my EDC (every day carry) knife. It's a lightweight knife weighing in at 2.25oz, which is very low for a 3 inch blade. It has a Zytel handle that has diamond checkering on it for added grip. You can reverse the pocket clip and thumb stud if you're left handed. Just an all around awesome knife for the money, its quality is amazing for the price you pay. Thanks for watching, please rate and comment.

Knife Review : Kabar Warthog Here is a new knife review...
KaBar Dozier Folding knives: Value Defined The little Zytel-handled EDC knives offer incredible value for their sub $20 price: AUS-8 steel, sharp hollow ground blades, fast deployment, tight lockup, reversible pocket clip and thumbstud, and a super lightweight 2.4 oz. Several blades designs are offered including the shown Folding Hunter (clip style), Folding Skinner, and the Spear Point Hunter. Newer variations have serrations. Few other knives compare at the pricepoint and the Bob Dozier designed folders set a great standard of value for a utility/EDC blade. //////////////////Nutnfancy Likeability Scale: 8 out of 10 (price considered)
Ka Bar Test If you have viewed many of my videos, you have probably seen me at least refer to my Ka-Bar Camp Knife. This knife is somewhat new for me as I have not used it many times. I was finally able to take it out and give it a thorough field test. If your interested, take a look...
Kabar Bull Dozier Review Review
KABAR Marine Combat Pt 1: Enduring Combat Classic Part 1 of 3: The excellent KABAR Marine Combat knife has thrived as favorite combat and survival knife choice since WWII. The reasons are clear: it's a design that just works and works well. In WWII the Marine Corps re-designed a well-established hunting design to fulfill the combat role and various manufacturers filled their large war time orders. The KABAR Company in Olean, NY was the biggest supplier of these knives and grew to own the design. The blade quickly established itself as very effective in all respects and to this day the blade design has remained relatively unchanged. The KABAR is good to excellent (if not outstanding) in most cutting, splitting, stabbing, or splitting tasks. But its design strikes the perfect middle ground in a larger blade and does so at a reasonable carry weight. At 15.5 oz it's usually not too heavy and that weight provides a lot of capability for the price: good strength, adequate edge retention, comfortable and durable Kraton grip, excellent hammering capability, and a great sheath. It's actually a better knife than the heavier M9 bayonet. There are many variations by KABAR (and this featured and now-gone Camillus version) on the Marine Combat knife with various steels (1095, 440A, and D2) and various finishes and colorations. All represent superb value of such a capable blade. Mine have been proven in the great outdoors and in duty use for over 12 years and I remain a huge KABAR fan.

Becker BK2 Campanion Ka-Bar Survival Knife OVERVIEW Becker BK2 Campanion by Ka-Bar. Dave Canterbury called this knife the "Becker Train Wrecker". Specification: Weight: 1.0 lb. Blade length 5-1/4"; Overall length 10-1/2" Grind: Flat Shape: Drop Point Handle Material: Grivory Stamp: KA-BAR Becker HRC: Edge Angle: 20 Degrees Butt Cap /Guard: Steel: 1095 Cro-Van Country Mft'd: Knife Made in USA, Sheath Made in Taiwan Dave Canterbury of Wilderness Outfitters really digs this knife. It's solid in the hand and the sheath it comes with is excellent. It's a lot like the Gerber LMF II, only better for bushcraft. Strap this chunk of steel to your bob (bug out bag) and you're ready.
Ka-Bar BK11 Becker Necker Knife Review (Part 1of2) The Becker Necker is one of those rare things for knife collectors: a great blade at a cheap price. Although marketed as a neck knife, the BK11 actually feels more suited as a small belt knife for general use. In fact when comparing the knife to more popular competitors like the Rat Cutlery RC-3, the BK11 is able to hold its own while still maintaining a reasonable price point. With a few small changes to the knife and its included accessories, I feel the Becker Necker would become a hit for affordable outdoor use knives. The Becker Necker features: - Full flat ground drop point blade design - 1095 Cro-Van Steel with Epoxy Coating - Overall length 6.75 inches (17.15 cm) - Blade length 3.25 inches (8.26 cm) - Weight: 2.4 ounces (68.04g) - HRC: 56-58 - SHARP out of the Box - integrated bottle opener and wire breaker on butt of handle - Included: Glass-filled Nylon Sheath with lash point for paracord and is compatible with the Kabar TDI Belt Clip (sold separately approx $10-15) - Included: 7 feet (2.13 meters) of black 550 paracord - Retail: $54.69, available at for $35 with free shipping Things I would change: - Should offer the package with the TDI belt clip included to save overall cost - Should offer (cheap) handle scales for the knife for better grip - Eliminate the middle hump on the handle to make the knife more ergonomic - Loosen the retention on the sheath just a little bit
Ka-Bar Becker BK-2 Campanion Review Review of the Becker BK-2 Campanion knife from Ka-Bar. Excellent camping knife - very strong and versatile.
Ka-Bar Heavy Bowie: "Wicked and Cheap" by Nutnfancy The "Heavy Bowie" knife is high value, large survival knife by Ka-Bar. Dont let the generic, unimaginative name throw you: this is a serious blade ready for serious work, in both the survival and possibly combat arenas. This 9" version of the Heavy Bowie looks to be very suitable for all kinds of heavy duty outdoor tasks. Its big bowie blade feels light in hand, has the desirable 1/4" thickness, a purposeful unsharpened swedge on top, and is full flat ground of proven 1095 steel. I suspect the blade will provide excellent wood splitting capabilities. Swing the big blade with its ergonomic polymer handle thats tough, comfortable, and well-flared on the sides to prevent forward slippage (an innovative feature). The sheath is rugged combining both Cordura and leather in a sturdy design, albeit lacking in quick attachment capability (norm for this price point). As shown in the video, the big blade is deceptively large, dwarfing knives that are similar in weight. But it remains a quick blade that swings quickly and with authority. The blade itself is a VERY reasonable 15 ounces which produces such speed; with the sheath tips the scales at 20 ounces. Thats a lot of cutting capability for such weight. So we see again that Ka-Bar has again has given us an excellent design at a amazing price point that makes it possible for even the most cash-strapped knife addicts to possess a large, tough, capable survival blade. All hail Ka-Bar. I suspect the Ka-Bar Heavy Bowie knife will ...
Ka-Bar Mule Title: Ka-Bar Mule Audio Title: Cool Light Mule The Ka-Bar Mule is just a solid well built heavy duty folder, It's hefty and beefy. It's a large heavy tool so if your looking for a dainty little cheese knife this is not it. Now if your looking for a tactical folder than can handle anything from field dressing game, Silently neutralizing some scum bag crackhead or cutting the *** out of cardboard boxes then this is the blade for you. The blade comes scary sharp out of the box and holds it's edge through use. It comes with a holster than can be mounted horizontal or vertical, the holster is designed for tactical work and was not designed to carry on normal everyday applications. The pocket clip on the blade itself is designed to mount either side, Tip side up only. It is strong and fits inside the pocket well. There is a lanyard hole to place a little bit of 550 to assist in retrieval. There is nothing fancy about this tool, No assist levers, no flips and no cool little 550 cutters. If you need a knife you take it out, open it... use it, then close it. Simple and basic the way a tool should be, in a moment in need the last thing you need to stress about is some weird little special accessory or function. I really do like the Mule a lot. They are now available with G-10 handles. Audio Score composed by MilitantPIG with ACID-Pro Software

Ka-Bar Dozier 4062 Folding Hunter Knife Review I love this knife. When it comes to getting the most value for your money this is the knife to beat. The Ka-Bar Dozier combines ergonomic design and excellent construction into a package that can be had for less than $20. When I first got this knife in the mail I was so impressed that I started using it for my everyday carry. The fit and finish is excellent. After having used this blade for the past week I would definitely stack it up against more expensive knives from other manufacturers like the Spyderco Byrd Line and Benchmades Red Class Knives. Aside from a few nitpicks (detailed below) I highly recommend this blade to anyone looking for a high-use, quality knife on a budget. Features: • Weight: 2.3 ounces (65.2g) • Length Open: 7.25 (18.42 cm) • Length Closed: 4.25 (10.8 cm) • Blade Length: 3 (7.62 cm AND California Legal!!!) • Blade Material: Aus8A Stainless Steel • HRC: 56-58 • Edge Angle: 15 Degrees • Locking Mechanism: Lockback • Grind: Hollow • Pocket Clip: yes, reversible, tip-up only • Handle Material: Black Zytel (Also available in forest green, desert tan, and pink) • Made in Taiwan • Style: Hunter (Also available in Clip-Point, Skinner, Spear-Point, and Thumb-Hole models) • Retail: $30 (available for $18.50 on ) Things I would change: • Since the pocket clip screws from the reverse side, have the clip come the top and bend over the screw point so that the knife can ride deeper in the pocket. • Off-set or remove the lanyard hole to allow the pocket ...

Kabar Cutlass Review, Equip 2 Endure The Ka-Bar Cutlass Machete is something unlike anything else I own. Although it was fair with the batoning test, it was a chopping master.
KaBar KBD1: Fight for Less Lots of blade for the money... that's one of my favorite things. And, like I say in the video, most of my blades are well under $100. That's because all of my blade NEEDS can be met with such quality, high value blades as this one. Nicely shaped, this KBD1 blade could serve nicely in the fighting role with equal slash and piercing capabilities. Sharpening the upper clip, if legal in your area, will improve its effectiveness but isn't necessary. Coupled with a decent NS 1095 steel and a good sheath, the KBD1 is definitely worth the price of admission and ready for your hard use defensive role (and maybe survival role) without the guilt of thrashing an expensive blade.

KaBar TDI Law Enforcement Here is my review of the Kabar TDI LE. This is a slick defensive option and great as a pistol retention knife however the sheath has it's shortcomings. I updated the video with an annotation as it was pointed out I had the clip mounted incorrectly, the rubber o rings go under the clip. If instructions would have been provided this could have been avoided. I still dislike the mounting of the clip in this fashion but it is holding together.
