EXERCISES FOR ALL SEASONS: Bent Legs Straighten Total body power, pump bridge up & down, front view - 11/29/09 (Autumn) Tai Chi is not just about circulating chi through the meridians of the body, like in stationary / meditative chi kung practices. It's also about using chi to ENERGIZE all the tendons and muscles throughout the body to generate total body power, which passes through the body like a continuous wave, and passes out of the body into the world to produce tangible effects on various objects, animate and inanimate. In this video, I am generating total body power and sending it as a series of waves through the wooden bridge I am standing upon. The waves pass out of my body into the bridge, causing the entire bridge to shake up and down in continuous waves. My mind is the source of these energy waves. When my body stops generating these waves, the bridge stops vibrating. What I am demonstrating in this video are waves of "total body jing" / total body power / total body force which I generate by expanding all my joints at the same time, then contracting them at the same time, in rapid succession, in rhythmic waves. Like a generator, I am sending waves of force out of my body into the wooden bridge, causing it to oscillate up and down. My body rides up and down on the waves passing through the bridge. Whenever I feel a wave passing below me, I add more power to it, reinforcing it, preventing it from dying down. In true tai chi fashion, I am "sticking" / "adhering" to the bridge. My feet are staying connected to ...
EXERCISES FOR ALL SEASONS: Tai Chi Bounce off ground, compress downward against rising leg, Brush Knee fa-jing, 8 directions of compass - 03/24/10 (Spring) The video at this URL shows me trying to do the entire compact "Jailhouse" Tai Chi Form in 5.5 feet of water. In water this deep, I could barely touch the pool floor with my feet. Whenever my feet did manage to connect with the pool floor, I found myself being propelled upwards. I couldn't remain rooted to the pool floor! I was reminded of astronauts trying to walk on the Moon's surface, bouncing up during each step they took. All of these videos show astronauts walking on the Moon: The astronauts bounce up and down with every step they take, because gravity on the Moon is much weaker than here on Earth. By exerting pressure against the Moon's surface, the astronauts' legs propel them right off the surface! It's hard to stay rooted to the surface of the Moon if gravity doesn't pull as strongly downward as it does here on Earth. This type of "float upward" action is also happening here on Earth, but it's less noticeable on dry land, because Earth's strong gravity helps keep the body attached to the floor, even when one pushes against it. In water, this "float upward" action becomes more obvious. The push of my leg against the pool floor caused my entire body to bounce upward, away ...

Bagua: The Most Deadly Point Strikes: Montaigue MTG226 Bagua Fighting: The Most Deadly Point Strikes on the Most Deadly Meridians: Volume One. Erle Montaigue receives many requests for a more simple way of showing the most deadly point strikes on the most deadly meridians using Baguazhang. This video series shows how Bagua uses three consecutive strikes using fa-jing all aimed at the most deadly dim-mak points on the most deadly meridians. Erle shows how to use each weapon without damaging yourself, using a hard mitt. He then goes on to show each point and its effect upon the body. Then he shows Bagua Fighting techniques to gain the most from this system. This is an easy to learn from series, it is not sophisticated; it is just straight down to earth Bagua fighting at its best, or worst if you are on the other end of it!
