  • Angel Real Image/Photo in Mecca Kaaba 2008.flv Real photo taken of an angel on the Kaaba (Mecca 2008) Upload by Zeeshan. Angels (Arabic: ملائكة , Malāʾikah; Turkish: Melek) are mentioned many times in the Qur'an and Hadith. Islam is clear on the nature of angels in that they are messengers of God. They have no free will, and can do only what God orders them to do. An example of a task they carry out is that of testing of individuals by granting them abundant wealth and curing their illness. Believing in angels is one of the six Articles of Faith in Islam. There is no standard hierarchical organization in Islam that parallels the division into different "choirs" or spheres, as hypothesised and drafted by early medieval Christian theologians. Most[who?] Islamic scholars agree that this is an unimportant topic in Islam, especially since such a topic has never been directly mentioned or addressed in the Qur'an. However, it is clear that there is a set order or hierarchy that exists between angels, defined by the assigned jobs and various tasks to which angels are commanded by God. The angel Gabriel (Jibreel) is the most recognised angel, as in Islam this angel delivers the message of God (in the case of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad, the Qur'an) to the prophets.

  • Ancel Keys - Father of the MRE Ancel Benjamin Keys (January 26, 1904 -- November 20, 2004) was an American scientist who studied the influence of diet on health. In particular, he hypothesised that different kinds of dietary fat had different effects on health. In addition to his role in establishing modern cardiovascular disease (CVD) epidemiology, Keys was closely associated with two famous diets: K-rations, formulated as balanced meals for combat soldiers in World War II; and the "Mediterranean diet", which he popularized with his wife Margaret. Science, diet, and health have been central themes of his professional and private lives. Early life Keys attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he received a BA in economics and political science (1925), an MS in biology (1929), and is a '30 University of California, San Diego Alumus receiving a Ph.D. in oceanography and biology from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.[1] He earned a second Ph.D. in physiology at Cambridge in 1938. In 1936, he became a professor at the University of Minnesota, where he established the Laboratory of Physiological Hygiene. Keys directed the laboratory from 1939 until his retirement in 1975. Professional During World War II, Keys studied starvation and sustinence diets using 32 conscientious objectors from Civilian Public Service as test subjects in the Minnesota Starvation Experiment, and eventually producing his two-volume Biology of Human Starvation (1950).[2] His interest in diet and CVD was prompted ...
  • Thailand - Suvarnabhumi Airport Suvarnabhumi Airport, also known as (New) Bangkok International Airport, is an international airport serving Bangkok, Thailand. It was officially opened for limited domestic flight service on 15 September 2006, and opened for most domestic and all international commercial flights on 28 September. The airport is currently the main hub for Thai Airways International, Bangkok Airways, Orient Thai Airlines and Thai AirAsia. The airport is located in Racha Thewa in Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan Province, about 25 kilometres (16 mi) east of downtown Bangkok. The name Suvarnabhumi was chosen by King Bhumibol Adulyadej and refers to the golden kingdom hypothesised to have been located somewhere in Southeast Asia. Designed by Helmut Jahn of Murphy/Jahn Architects, this airport has the world's tallest control tower (132.2 metres / 434 feet), and the world's third largest single-building airport terminal (563000 square metres / 6060000 square feet). Suvarnabhumi is the 5th busiest airport in Asia, having handled 40.5 million passengers in 2009, and is also a major air cargo hub. The airport inherited the airport code BKK from Don Mueang after the older airport ceased international flights. A modern motorway connects the airport, Bangkok, and the heavily industrial Eastern Seaboard of Thailand, where most of the manufacturing for export takes place. visit here :
  • Spiders Help Make the Sun Science Fiction The evolution of spiders has been going on for at least 400 million years, since the first true spiders (thin-waisted arachnids) evolved from crab-like chelicerate ancestors. Today, there are over 40000 described spider species within the diverse phylum of arthropods. Major developments in spider evolution include the development of spinnerets and silk secretion, as well as different adaptions for its use. The discovery of silk-producing organs on the feet of the zebra tarantula (Aphonopelma seemanni) has led to questions about the origins of spinnerets. It has been hypothesised that spinnerets were originally used as climbing aids on the feet and evolved and were used for webmaking at a later time.[1] Real Science A spinneret is a spider's or insect larva's silk-spinning organ. It is usually on the underside of a spider's abdomen, to the rear. While most spiders have six spinnerets, some have two, four, or eight. They move independently and in concert. Different species of spiders use silk extruded from spinnerets to build webs, to entrap insects by running round them, to make egg-cases, to catch the wind and fly (ballooning by gossamer spiders), etc. Some insect larvae (including silkworms) extrude silk to make a protective cocoon for their metamorphosis. Proverbs 30:28 "The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces." The instruments that scientists are using to develop fusion energy continue to become more complex and powerful. • Zombieland 2 rule # 32 - Bullets (spoof) Zombieland 2 is coming soon, and a new movie means new rules.. this is our spoof/parody. website: Channel Facebook: Twitter: Tags for you to ignore: A zombie is a creature that appears in books, films and popular culture. It is typically a reanimated corpse, or a human being who is being controlled by someone else by use of magic. More recent stories have used a pandemic illness to explain them. Stories of zombies originated in the West African spiritual belief system of voodoo, which told of the people being controlled as laborers by a powerful wizard. Zombies became a popular device in modern horror fiction, largely because of the success of George A. Romero's 1968 film Night of the Living Dead. According to the tenets of Vodou, a dead person can be revived by a bokor, or sorcerer. Zombies remain under the control of the bokor since they have no will of their own. "Zombi" is also another name of the Vodou snake lwa Damballah Wedo, of Niger-Congo origin; it is akin to the Kikongo word nzambi, which means "god". There also exists within the West African Vodun tradition the zombi astral, which is a part of the human soul that is captured by a bokor and used to enhance the bokor's power. The zombi astral is typically kept inside a bottle which the bokor can sell to clients for luck, healing or business success. It is believed that after a time God will take the soul back and so the zombi is a temporary spiritual ...

However attempts by this service and contacts to obtain further information met a resumption of the previously prevailing blackout so that the reality is that we do not know what the fate of the currency boxes has been since the violence behind the violence at Fort Hood that we reported. • IMGP6117.MOV Follow up to the experiment on dancing raisins. This time, beer was used instead of soft drinks. It was hypothesised that the raisins will "dance" faster or more raisins will surface at the same time. However, this was not observed. Instead, the raisins in berr took a longer time to surface and the total time taken for the raisins in beer to finishing dancing was 24:12:11 mins while the total time taken for the raisins in 7up to finish dancing was 1:56:03:07 mins. This could be because the carbon dioxide in beer is the product of fermentation while that in soft drinks is forcefully added under high pressure. The high pressure thus allows more carbon dioxide to dissolve, thus allowing more carbon dioxide gas bubbles to form when the pressure is decreased. Therefore, the raisins have more gas to "dance" with. Besides, this experiment could be better improved by many ways: 1) the method of pouring the beer in could be improved so that less foam would form, thus allowing the raisins to be put in faster. However, as this is an extension of the previous experiment, i thought it would be better to pour the liquids in the same way. 2) the size and weight of the raisins could be more standardised as they varied quite a bit. However, this would be rather difficult unless i went to weigh all the raisins in the box to find twenty similar ones. Notable observations: for the raisins in 7 up experiment, honly about 3-4 raisins could stay on the water surface at the same time. The moment ...
  • Tsunami - Protection Against Tsunamis in Japan - Muralha contra Tsunami mauj77 Uma barreira de contenção contra tsunami, no mar de Mikawa. Tentativa de barrar as ondas mais fortes e altas. Bem interessante, parece um tetris desordenado. Protection wall against Tsunami - Mikawa Bay, Japan A tsunami (pronounced /(t)suːˈnɑːmi/) is a series of waves created when a body of water, such as an ocean, is rapidly displaced. Earthquakes, mass movements above or below water, some volcanic eruptions and other underwater explosions, landslides, underwater earthquakes, large asteroid impacts and detonation of nuclear weapons at sea all have the potential to generate a tsunami. Due to the immense volumes of water and energy involved, the effects of tsunami can be devastating.
  • Drowning; part 6 Hey, I wrote this one pretty quick so sorry if it's not good! **Questions at bottom** ............. "His father and brother got murdered." her head hung low, dissmissing the engulfing guilt for speaking his life story, "They were going to see a movie he was not old enough to see, and they got shot on the side walk. That's New York City for you." a soft emotionless chuckle rolled off her tounge, "His mom would get drunk off his father's whisky, and she would beat him." she twirled her head in Miley's location, catching her oceanic orbs they exchanged a message only looks can send. "I uh, wow. That's sad." her strawberry-pained nailed hand laid across her chest, her mind knew about his world. Miley felt deep horror towards Nick's life story, "No wonder why he did what he did tonight." her hand fell into her lap, tracing over her denim skinny jeans. "Yeah, but he could have a life. If me and Alex were to take him in." Selena's azure eyes sparkled with ponders. "He probably would not have wanted that, Sel. He ran away from you once. What makes you think he's going to crawl under your roof?" her lean arms draped across her abdomen. "Why would you eve brin--." her scratchy voice haulted after whitnessing several doctors sprint aimlessly towards Nick's location. "What's going on?" Miley inquired, her azure eyes scanned the waiting room for an answer. "His liver is toxicated from the alcohol." a nurse hypothesised, her words suffocating Miley. But why? "W-what?" a ghosty ...
  • Large tunnel spotted on moon 3 of 5 Scientists have spotted a deep hole in the lunar surface that could provide shelter for future astronauts against the harsh radiation and surface temperatures on the moon. The tunnel is at least 260 feet deep and is believed to open into an underground tunnel which is more than 1200 feet wide. The discovery is powerful evidence for long, winding tunnels carved by lava beneath the lunar surface. Such tunnels, whose existence has long been hypothesised, could provide shelter for future astronauts or colonists.
  • The baby after 3 days He is good -Any complications at moment Enviado por " CONSULTORIO MÉDICO JAVIER FLORES BUISSON " MÁNCORA- PERÚ... URL: consultoriomedicofloresmancora.es.tl ... An infant or baby is the term used to refer to the very young offspring of humans. A newborn is an infant who is within hours, days, or up to a few weeks from birth. In medical contexts, newborn or neonate (from Latin, neonatus, newborn) refers to an infant in the first 28 days of life (less than a month old). The term "newborn" includes premature infants, postmature infants and full term newborns. A newborn's shoulders and hips are narrow, the abdomen protrudes slightly, and the arms and legs are relatively short. In the developed world, the average birth weight of a full-term newborn is approximately 7 ½ lbs.(3.2 kg), but is typically in the range of 5.5--10 pounds (2.7--4.6 kg). The average total body length is 14--20 inches (35.6--50.8 cm), although premature newborns may be much smaller. The Apgar score is a measure of a newborn's transition from the uterus during the first minutes of life. A newborn's head is very large in proportion to the rest of the body, and the cranium is enormous relative to his or her face. While the adult human skull is about 1/8 of the total body length, the newborn's is about 1/4. At birth, many regions of the newborn's skull have not yet been converted to bone, leaving "soft spots" known as fontanels. The two largest are the diamond-shaped anterior fontanel, located at the top front portion of the head, and the smaller ...
  • Minchin on Americans "The first time, first time I noticed this American compulsion to sell yourself, I was, I was staying in a, in, in a hotel, for those of you know Manhattan a bit, in, in New York, a, a, right in midtown like on the corner of, I think it was 7th and 54th, right in the very heart of it, you know, I've packed all my clothes, and it was lunchtime, and I was starving, having never been to Manhattan I didn't know w-where, where to go to get you lunch, but I thought, I'm just gonna pop downstairs and try my luck. You never know your luck in the big city, there might be a deli! I thought. So I pop downstairs, and there, across 7th Avenue, directly opposite the hotel, was a deli, with a sign above it, saying: The World's Best Deli! What are the ***ing odds on that!? Amazing, the mind just boggles, doesn't it, ttttt, at, the money they would've had to spend on research, verifying that claim. And there I was in my antipodean ignorance thinking deli goodness was a relative concept like beauty, or terrorism. Further down that, uh, 7th Avenue, on that famous intersection of 7th and Broadway, I saw this massive billboard, this billboard was taking up the entire side of a multi-story office building, and it was advertising comme-commercial real estate, like, um, office-space for rent within the building upon which the billboard sat, right, and in huge letters this billboard said: THIS IS THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE! I love Americans, while, while the rest of the world scientific ...

  • Screenr rocks screencasts! I've recorded this screencast to provide a basic overview of Screenr & explore certain elements of its functionality. Update: should note that during the recording of this particular clip I hypothesised that the recordings take place via streaming through Screenr. I then continued on to wonder what affect latency might have on the quality of the recording. However having just completed the process from start to finish its clear to me that I was incorrect in my assumptions. Recordings appear to take place locally and are then uploaded to Screenr afterwards. This has the effect of really smooth flowing transitions that are really easy to watch. • Garant Wasserwaage Level with Switchable Magnet For modern-day pyramids It has been hypothesised that the master builders of ancient Egypt may already have made use of water when "marking" and levelling the foundations of the pyramids. They cut a trench squarely around the planned foundation and then filled it with water, and once filled up, everything that stood out above the water surface level was then removed evenly. The successor of this idea, the level with an air bubble in a transparent capsule, the bubble level, has been in use since the 17th century -- a precision tool that has been indispensible on construction sites and in other crafts ever since. This compact level merges an innovative, functional design with a language of form that is very high-value and purist. Against the background that metal workers in particular often feel that they "need a second hand", this level is equipped with a built-in magnet. Connected securely to the workpiece, this magnet level allows users to rely on its support when marking, adjusting or mounting work. A functional advantage of this level is that its magnetic force can be switched easily between magnetic and neutral according to need. The prism-shaped contact surface enlarges the range of applications as the magnet works even on tubes and profiles, making this level highly versatile. Other user-friendly features include a bubble level that is readable perfectly from almost any angle, as well as consistent and easy-to-understand product graphics. Furthermore, this level is ...
  • Human Journey 2/5 Asia (2/6) 2. Asia In the second episode, Roberts travels to Siberia and visits an isolated community of indigenous people who still practice reindeer hunting. With reference to them, she asks how ancient Africans could have adapted to the hostile climate of northern Asia, and why Asian people look so different from Africans. Roberts then explores an alternative to the Out of Africa theory, the multiregional hypothesis that has gained support in some scientific communities in China. According to this theory, the Chinese are descended from a human species called Homo erectus rather than from the Homo sapiens from which the rest of humanity evolved. Roberts visits the Zhoukoudian caves, in which Peking Man, the supposed Homo erectus ancestor of the Chinese, was discovered. Roberts notes that some Chinese anthropologists and palaeontologists have shown modern Chinese physical characteristics in the fossil skulls, such as broad cheek bones, cranial skull shape and shovel-shaped incisors that are absent in almost all other humans. She also notes that the stone tools found in China seem more primitive than those elsewhere, and infers that they were made exclusively by Homo erectus. However, she argues that the skull evidence is only subtle. She interviews an American palaeontologist, who presents his hypothesis that the ancient Chinese humans used bamboo instead of stone, explaining the absence of sophisticated stone tools, despite the absence of archaeological evidence to support this ...

We heard that there were plans to film a new adaptation of John le Carre's "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy", and we got to wondering how that would be, given that, thanks to a gradual dumbing-down, televisual tastes have changed a lot since 1979, and now lean rather more towards sensationalism and vapidity. Eventually, we hypothesised that the opening to such an adaptaion may be a little something like this...
  • Cusack Ponders the End of the World John Cusack the star of Roland Emmerich's latest epic '2012' hypothesised about what he'd do if the end of the world came. The film is based on a Mayan prophecy that a catastrophe will occur in the year 2012. (Oct. 02)
  • "Candid Country" Rofo's photos around Salta, Barreal, Humahuaca, Argentina A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Salta, Barreal, Humahuaca, Argentina by TravelPod blogger Rofo titled "Candid Country". TravelPod is a company of TripAdvisor™. Rofo's travel blog entry: "So we left wine country and headed to a small town called Barreal which was nestled in between the Cordillera and Andes ranges in a picturesque valley where they take the afternoon siesta very seriously. We entered town late in the afternoon and after checking into our Cabana, we ventured off to the town centre hoping to get some food but of course everything was closed, and I meanm everything. Forced to go back to the Cabana and sleep off our hunger we soaked in the lazy tranquil feel of the town. Horse riding through the surrounding ranges was on the list of activities as well as visiting the observatory and carrelismo (land-surfing). The observatory was a welcome change and got an insight, all in Spanish, on how the concave/convex lenses help with the telescope by our lovely guide who was more then happy to go into the technical aspects of the 20 ton piece of glass. Also learnt that Australia was the only one contributing to the joint project with Argentina as China and South Africa are unreliable and politically unstable. Land surfing had to be given a miss as the operator never answered his phone but we visited the dry lake bed that it normally took place, some 14 kilometres long and 4 kilometres wide. Leaving Barreal we made some last minute decision making and ...
  • Abduction World Attack Download If UFO spotters are to be believed and we really aren't alone in this universe then the kind of activities our extraterrestrial visitors get up to don't really paint them in the best light. Creating obscure crop circles and buzzing military aircraft strike us as pretty low-level pranks. Perhaps Douglas Adams was right when he hypothesised (via his excellent Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy book series) that these occurrences were down to bored, rich alien kids with nothing better to do than confuse us dim-witted earthlings. Stealing cows is another rather daft activity that our xenomorphic guests seem to get up to, and this unusual pastime is the focus of the cute-looking Abduction! World Attack. Produced by Sydney-based ex-pat bedroom coder Phil Symonds, Abduction! World Attack is based on his earlier Abduction! game, which is still available free of charge via the Android Marketplace and essentially serves as the 'Lite' version of this release. The aim in both titles remains the same: you assume the role of a heroic cow (other animals are available as you unlock them) whose herd has been sucked up by an alien tractor-beam. Thankfully the alien abductors have unwittingly ripped up several parts of the landscape as well and these hover peculiarly in mid-air, providing ideal platforms for your bovine avatar to jump on. As you bounce up the screen from platform to platform you'll get the opportunity to rescue some of your beloved herd, who are parachuting down from ...
  • Angels of islam...with roles and duties Angels in Islam are light-based creatures, created from light, by God to serve and worship Him. Belief in angels is one of the six Articles of Faith in Islam, without which there is no faith. The six articles are belief in: God, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Last Day, and that predestination, both good and evil, comes from God. There is no standard hierarchical organization in Islam that parallels the division into different "choirs" or spheres, as hypothesised and drafted by early medieval Christian theologians. Most Islamic scholars agree that this is an unimportant topic in Islam, especially since such a topic has never been directly mentioned or addressed in the Qur'an. However, it is clear that there is a set order or hierarchy that exists between Angels, defined by the assigned jobs and various tasks to which angels are commanded by God.
  • Large tunnel spotted on moon 2 of 5 Scientists have spotted a deep hole in the lunar surface that could provide shelter for future astronauts against the harsh radiation and surface temperatures on the moon.
  • eLearning: Comparing activity The task was to compare two blocks of teaching for writing to alert teachers to the consequences of the blocks being similar, or not. My original plan utilised graphic-equalizer-style sliders, which art direction necessarily changed into wipe board magnets (operating as sliders). The SME noted the slider groups were then more difficult to compare and hypothesised pie charts. I quickly sketched the idea and how it might work and had sign off instantly over the WebEx system. The developer returned a wonderfully fluid interaction that none of us could keep our hands off. Unfortunately, the planned contextual feedback based on evaluating the difference in the patterns was compromised by pressures of time. Find out more at www.pat-. • Let's Play Pokémon Raptor EX - Part 1 (... Okay, THIS one!) Right, okay. It's not the rest of Blue, it's not the rest of HeartGold, and it's not even the Yellow one I hypothesised. It's a fangame made by OmegaGroudon called Pokémon Raptor EX. In the first part, our hero ThongMan struggles with large sprites, character limits, music cues, pokémon selection, and the start menu.
  • Life, Extended Mind, and Fundamental Physics The full lecture can be seen at Extracts from a lecture given by Brian Josephson at an event in celebration of his 70th. birthday (lecture date, May 5th, 2010). The downloadable full lecture and introduction are available at (see below) Abstract: The problem of how life came into existence is a major challenge for biology. I shall argue for an explanation involving the idea that a more elementary form of life, not dependent on matter, existed prior to the big bang, and evolved at the level of ideas in the same way that human societies evolve at the level of ideas. Just as human society discovered how to use matter in a range of technological applications, the hypothesised life before the big bang discovered how to organise energy to make physical universes, and to make fruitful use of the matter available in such universes. In addition, our various creative abilities are in part expressions of aspects of this original life.
  • Human Journey 2/5 Asia (1/6) 2.
