Mercy Air Helicopter Take Off from Antelope Valley Hospital Mercy Air helicopter takes off from Antelope Valley Hospital, Lancaster, CA, approximately 1300PT 11/3/2007 after dropping off a patient for its ER. This video shows the helicopter ramping up and taking off to the north (along with an annoying white SUV that crosses the frame twice). I can confirm this Bell 222 (tail N402MA) is the same one I've seen based at the Mojave Spaceport (Mercy Base 14). Mercy Air units typically carry a flight crew of three: pilot, flight nurse and flight medic. In this video, the pilot is in the right front seat, medical crew is in the other front seat and you can see the third crewmember in the back window looking at me suspiciously. If you'd like to see other helicopter photos of mine (mainly air medical helicopters in the Midwest), go to

Where Eagles Dare - The real German WW2 Helicopter part 1 part 1 of 2. Footage of real pre-war and WW2 German combat helicopters, technically superior to the Bell Helicopter in the Where eagles dare film. Jewish German Dr Kurt Hohenemser designed and engineered the two Flettner helis shown in the video. First up, female test pilot and iron cross winner FlugKapitan Hanna Reitsch flying the FW-61 in 1937, setting many distance, endurance and height records. Then her flying it indoors at the Deutschland Halle in 1938 at the Berlin Motor Show . Then the the first craft to pioneer "Air-mobile" and evacuation operations, bomb carrying, machine gun equipped medi-vac, artillery transporting Fa-223 "Drache". The Drache flew in 1940. The Fa 223 carried a nose mounted MG 15 machine gun plus an array of other weapons onboard for crew use and two quarter ton bombs, optional auxiliary droptanks and winch system. With a ceiling of over 22000ft it was suitable for high altitude mountain missions. In one demonstration example the Drache flew 85 missions in 29 consecutive days to 15000 ft high altitude, carrying men, 75mm artillery and all their ammunition. Able to carry up to 12 combat troops on external benches and 4 crew inside, it could also carry up to 2.2 tons by cable externally. The Draches used in one of the Helicopter units stationed in Münster flew rescue and recover missions and could retrieve and transport whole airframes of other craft suspended below on cable. In one case a Fa223 carried the 1.3 ton engine of a FW-190 fighter over ...

Xheli's Esky 900 R/C helicopter's first 3D flying test with 14.4 v and 18.5 v battery! This is an assembled "Bare Bones" Helicopter from . That means you must choose and buy your own RC equipment. I chose the Raiden 1620Kv motor for this machine. I must say, it is more than ample! If you use the same, make sure you know how to handle the power and not overdo it. Always searching for an electric helicopter with some weight and mass to handle our winds, I have begun exploring the 500 class helicopters. In this video, I give a look at the Esky 900 helicopter actually flying in those winds. The ES 900 is a fantastic flying machine, when set up with the pitch and throttle curves I developed on my test stand. I have videos on my test/training stand and how to make the pontoons. Search Stealth Helicopters and for NightFlyyer's Helicopter training/test stand to see my videos on the subject. The Esky Helicopter feels good and solid for sure and I am quite impressed, since this helicopter only cost $139. I used the 14.4 battery for the first test flight, and the 18.5 volt battery for the 3D flights. I recommend the 14.4 battery, because it runs longer and the extra power of the 18.5 is not necessary, however I like the extra weight of the bigger battery. Also, you need a charger that can charge an 18.5 v, 3000 Ma, 5 cell LiPo, so that is a consideration. I really like flying this heli, as it it really easy to see for this 62 year old's tired eyes, and handles the wind very well. I like the white wooden blades, and their sound. The blades have not gone out of ...

RC Helicopter FISHING! Dave tries hand at "Heli Fishing" For you skeptics who say the fish was dead, I assure you it wasn't dead. That said, I still risked my E-Flite Blade 400 for some entertainment for you (I used 3 batteries, hence the cut) as fun and challenging for me. I doubt most others would risk their $450 heli just to hover over the water, let alone dangle a line! This scenario shows it may be possible to use the Helicopter for fishing, however it would be expensive fishing. It is always terribly windy here, so on this calm day, those simple waves in the water was of no concern to a sunfish! It also helps to have lots of fish, like in our Sand Pit Pond where they bite on hooks with no bait! (actually I used fish eggs and the hook 24" from the bobber. Hey, you never know, if you don't try! ***Caution from past experience*** If the Tail rotor hits the water even slightly, it will immediately cause a crash. Big fish can drain batteries fast. It takes and hour to charge between flights of only 6 minutes, so this could be a long process to catch a fish. Sunfish are not big fighters. Fly easy and thanks for watching. I hope you found this entertaining. Be sure to subscribe for more unique stuff from Mr.Herbert's Science Class. and yes, I'm going to try it again, so stay tuned.
RC Helicopter Fishing! 2nd attempt from NightFlyyer, using Blue Ray Heli. Many of you saw me crash this Blue Ray Helicopter a few months ago doing a roll too low. Now repaired, I test fly it, then take it to the Sibley Pond to try my hand at Helicopter Fishing again. The (Perch, Sunfish, rock cod Blue Gill) here bite on just about anything at any time, so I hoped to catch something on the first battery. Here you will see what happens in this un-cut attempt to catch another fish just like last year. Bait: Grubs. The Blue Ray helicopter is available from and here is the link For the HELMET comments you all make, I respond. My bike is a '95 Honda Goldwing. It weights 800 lbs and 1000 with me on it. There are NO helmet laws in IOWA and I chose to not wear it for this 1/2 mile ride. I usually wear a helmet, cause Im a goldwing guy with intercom and like the comfort when it is cold. But for a few blocks with no trucks or traffic, I chose not to were it to make this video, because I dont have to in Iowa. I am a member of the 1 million mile MOTORCYCLE club. This is my 3rd Goldwing and my 22nd motorcycle. Not to worry about crashing, as I am very cautious AND there is no real traffic here, like California (where I put all those miles on mostly) I don't crash my helicopters much either, unless I do something stupid, and I have learned not to do those stupid things on bikes or Helcopters over the years too. I have been riding for over 50 years now, with no crashes and even have a trike kit for this 6 cylinder Honda. Thanks for ...

Helicopter Autorotation EC-120 Autorotations are used in helicopters to perform power off landings from altitude in the event of an engine failure. During an autorotation, the main rotor is not driven by a power plant, but by air flowing through the rotor disc bottom-up (imagine a windmill) while the aircraft is descending rapidly

Sikorsky X2 Technology helicopter achieves 250kt - Sep 2010 Sikorsky video of the Sep. 15, 2010 test flight during which its X2 Technology coaxial-rotor helicopter demonstrator achieved its 250kt speed goal. Conventional helicopters cruise at around 150kt. The X2 reached 260kt in a shallow dive as is expected to exceed 250kt in level flight once a sail fairing is fitted between the upper and lower rotors to reduce drag further. X2 uses a single T800 engine to power both the rotors and the tail-mounted variable-pitch propeller, which provides forward thrust to enable the high speed. Other technologies include fly-by-wire flight controls and active vibration control. As the video opens you see a full-scale mockup of Sikorsky's proposed X2 Light Tactical Helicopter in the hangar.
Nueces Helicopter Pig Hunt (no music) This feral hog eradication program is funded by a group of farmers who are taking progressive action to reduce the devastation done to their crops by these animals. Each and every feral hog is estimated to cause $1400 in crop damage during its lifetime. As you can see this data in combination with the extraordinarily high and ever expanding hog population proves to be a very big problem. Through the support of the farmers of Haskell Co. and the efforts of Nueces Helicopters, LLC. the hog population is on its way to a more controllable state as well as a much higher crop yield for the farmers. MYSTERY BLACK HELICOPTERS CIRCLE FARM UNMARKED-MILITARY UFO INVESTIGATORS HOUSE Black helicopters intimidate UFO investigators. Circle UFO investigators house. Members of a local Ohio UFO group were harassed. On 6/15/93, 3 members were on Channel 62 at 7-8:00 PM, on Phyllis Ransom's call-in talk show, "Profiles." This low-power channel is little advertised and has a very small audience. It is beamed to the North of Columbus, such that people in Columbus received it poorly, if at all. The audience was so small that the only questions from the audience came from an employee of the station, who went across the hall to use a pay phone. The phone number of Frank, a pilot who was on the show, was flashed on the screen at the end of the show. About a half hour after the show, a low-flying Huey flew to his house and circled it three times with its nose down in a firing position. His daughter is a commercial pilot and the family watched this. The helicopters probably came from the Ohio Air National Guard at Springfield, Ohio. (Several other members of the group are pilots.) This activity is reported in the UFO literature. (The helicopters are not necessarily unmarked--they may have dark markings that blend in with their dark surface.) This type of activity has also been reported in the recent Stephenville, Texas, accounts: The black military helicopters in this video made low altitude circles for more than an hour. They were Hueys that may have came from the Ohio Air National Guard at Springfield, Ohio. They were filmed intermittently ...
