Organ Improvisation at Mount of Olives Dear music lovers, as this is # 1000 of my uploaded videos, I unproudly present you something slightly different from all the high quality pieces and performers I usually publish here: Yes, that's me. During a trip to Israel in March 2009 I had the fantastic oppurtunity to play a breathtaking Sauer organ, built in 1911 (and been untouched all the time, except for restauration), located inside the Church of the Ascension on top of mount of olives, Jerusalem. So here you are, a little improvisation, nothing special, but what this beautiful truly romantic instrument inspired me too in that moment. Unfortunately, the Pedal section was faulty, so whatever stop you would pull, it only produced a loud F-sharp - thats why the piece had to end in F-sharp major, and there is a low F-sharp to be heard in some passages as bordun (that was the only use I could make of the defect), followed by some hectical left-hand action to get it away. :P May you enjoy this little personal gift anyway, and feel free to comment on the lack of form or insipration. ;) The next 1000 videos are to come most certainly ...

The House is Already Burning Dream, June 11, 2010 I go to a class. The real teacher is not present. A substitute teaches this day. He brings several papers from which to teach. He is a very tall man with neat hair. He is a famous man, but only a few people come to listen. I have a clear impression it is David Eells. The real teacher walks in and sits down. He is evaluating the teacher. The teaching is on conspiracy. He says the house will burn down. Near the end of the lecture, I look up. An old cast iron pipe enters the wooden-board wall below the ceiling line. Fire burst from within the wall and flames out. I yell a warning very loudly. "This house is already burning down!" There is a very brief pause, then a poof, a pow and flames blow out from the corner of the ceiling above Eells' left shoulder, to his left. Smoke begins to fill in the upper space of the room. People begin running around hectically, looking for a way out. During this frantic running back and forth, no one finds an exit. I decided to create an animation around this scene in which the piece of sugar would be set on fire by the ants' ritual.
