Roozegare Ma ( iran election documentary women voting ) english subtitles part 1 In documentary darmorde zamane ghabl az entekhabate dovome Khatami hast, va bishtar be masa'ele jame'e va bekhosos sharayete zanha dar Iran eshare mikone. An Iranian docu-fiction piece focusing on the lives of several Iranian women throughout the presidential elections of 2001. Director Rakhshan Bani-Etemad, one of Iran's most respected feminist filmmakers, chose to work with two groups of women, one old and one young, to contrast divergent political attitudes across the generation gap. At one end of this spectrum is the director's real life daughter and a group of her artist friends who have formed a committee to support the incumbent, President Khatami. On the other end is a group of forty-eight older women running for office on a reform party ticket, this despite being thrown off the ballot by an all-male government. The thread that keeps these two stories together is the tale of Arezoo Bayat and her daughter who are simply trying to scratch out living amid the headier issue of the elections. All tolled, a pretty compelling portrait of life as a Iranian woman at the turn of the 21st century. Barandeye yek jayeze az 'Locarno International Film Festival'

Deastro - "Toxic Crusaders" The third single from Deastro's Moondagger harnesses Randolph Chabot's positive outlook, hiding a humble plea for a better world inside a bright synth-rock anthem with macabre undertones. "Toxic Crusaders" envisions a world in which cyclops babies are born from broken families, the symbol of their sins etched in genetic mutation; Chabot plays the hopeful soothsayer, positioning himself as a "prophet of how things should be." But while "Toxic Crusaders" features some of Deastro's headier lyrical feats, musically its all muscle, featuring stutter-step guitars, blazing synthesizers, and hard-hitting drums, with an unforgettable whistle-while-you-work hook in the chorus.

Wappenbund-Marche Funebre Last of 3 Wappenbund tracks from Kinder der Lichtes that I'm uploading, this one a bit more somber as the title no doubt gave away, much headier and deeper. I find that some of this projects offerings are the kind that I won't be able to listen to all the way through, I'll skip song to song and find the good ones, but this song and this entire album I can listen to on repeat and enjoy it over and over again.

Four Vines Winery A hedonistic group led by winemaker Christian Tietje and SUSAN A. MAHLER, they specialize in old vine Zinfandel, eclectic Rhônes and Spanish varietals...and let's not forget the *** Chardonnay. Bikers, Anarchists, Heretics...oh my! All accompanied by pagan rituals and chocolate. Life is short. First there was One. Winemaker CHRISTIAN TIETJE is a hedonist. He is passionate about wine: making it, drinking it and bringing people together to enjoy it. Chris learned to love balanced, food-driven wines as an aspiring young chef in Boston. In 1990 he moved to San Francisco, determined to pursue his passion and become a winemaker. He fell head over heels for old vine Zinfandel, and began planning for bigger things. Then there were Two. In 1994, Christian met SUSAN A. MAHLER, a brainy and beautiful scientist and pilot, nicknamed SAM and a partnership was formed. Armed with a degree in Earth Science, SAM took an immediate interest in vineyards. Together they created Four Vines Winery featuring eclectic, appellation-specific Zins, and one kick-ass no-oak *** Chardonnay. They named their Zins Biker, Sophisticate and Maverick. Rich, succulent, fruit-generous wines that pair incredibly well with food. They relocated to Paso Robles where they began experimenting with Rhone varietals; bigger, headier wines that are positively explosive in flavor and form, as in the rogue Rhone blend "Anarchy".

Delta9 Labs Southern Lights Southern Lights formerly White Star strain type Sativa (80)/ Indica (20) buzz uplifting taste/smell sweet flowering time 75-80 days parents NYC Diesel (mother) x Sensi Star (father) yield 400-550g/m2 (1 1/2-1 3/4 oz./ft.2) environment indoors This is a strain with an 80/20 sativa indica split. It has an incredibly uplifting high yet maintains the lovely fruity flavor of its parent the NYCD diesel. Its father is paradise seeds sensi star and certainly packs a wollop. Combined these two make up a lovely strain, not too tall at its maximum flower height approximately 1 to 1.5 meters, depending on medium and pot size. It does tend towards the bushier side rather then the stretchy. Normally a sativa tends towards a headier high but this one nicely combines a light daze with a strong body buzz, perfect for those that require a medicine that is rich in cbd's and cbn's. If you really like the body buzz then make sure to let it go a week longer, until the crystals are 30-40% amber. The plant normally finishes around 63 days but can go up to 70. However in hydro set ups with Co2 it has finished as quick as 56. Also this plant is not afraid to eat and can accept a pretty high ec, we've gone as high as 2-2.2. All in all a great smoke and a great medicine. Certainly if anything this is one of the most stinky and fruity of our strains.

OFEGE Nobody fails 1974 NIGERIA Afro-psych Rock A blistering set of Afro-Funk from the 70s -- the debut of Ofege, a band of high school students at the time! There's a really trippy sound to the set, as the guitars figure strongly in the groove, and are often recorded with some slightly psychedelic touches -- similar to Blo or some of the other headier groups of this generation. Wah wah lines often mix in with straighter fuzzed-out solos -- all driven strongly together by quick-snapping drums -- and vocals are by a young-voiced singer who brings some sweet soul touches to the English-language lyrics -- a nice contrast to the heavier sounds of the guitars! Love Motel Please feel free to make a music video to this song and post it as a reply! Lyrics: __________________________________________________ Dust glitters, vanishing with the light As motel shades close out the day Television shines, shadows dance across pale green curtains Across stale sheets and hopeful flesh What will you think of the monster you've become When you come face to face with yourself in someone else Smoke ebbs over the dark green carpet Stained with blood, sweat, and coffee Your head leans back, your eye roll Teeth clench a tongue till blood runs to the floor What will you think of the monster you've become When you come face to face with yourself in someone else Evil born of good intentions Closed my eyes and nearly fainted __________________________________________________ By order of entrance, the speaking parts: Woman: "As an apricot tree stands out in the forest, my lover stands above the young men in town. All I want is to sit in his shade, to taste and savor his delicious love. He took me home with him for a festive meal, but his eyes feasted on ME! Oh give me something refreshing to eat, and quickly! Apricots, raisins, anything- I'm about to faint with love! His left hand cradles my head, and his right arm encircles my waist." -Song of Solomon Man: "Get up my dear friend, fair and beautiful lover. Come to me! Look around you. Winter is over. The winter rains are over. They're gone. Spring flowers are in blossom all over. The whole world's a choir and ...

ASM: Nino Spallacci. Directed by Victor Lirio. "Medley's work is rich in figurative language ("Fireflies like gold dust whirling in the night"), but its earthy characters give it weight. Under Victor Lirio's lyrical direction, Gin Hammond manages to artfully show Zena's conflict, and not just her artifice; Ron Cephas Jones, using Reuben's past shame to motor his present determination, gives a performance of fierce honesty. Nearly everyone in Medley's play is passing in some way or other: Zena's husband is a Catholic who claims to be Presbyterian, and Reuben's girlfriend, Pearl, shacks up ...
