The MXR Micro Flanger pedal has been updated with a true bypass switch so you don't lose any tone during bypass. Go from jet plane like sweeps to cool outer space type effects with the MXR Micro Flanger guitar effect pedal. Boss BF-3 Flanger Pedal - Nevada Music UK The Boss BF-2 has been the classic flanger pedal for 20 years. The new BF-3 Flanger offers guitarists and bassists an updated version with thicker stereo flanging sounds and a wider stereo imagery. In addition to the classic sound, the BF-3 has two new modes (Ultra and Gate/Pan) which create flanging with enhanced depth and slicer-type effects that seem to swirl around the listener. This pedal features four controls which are :-Mode, Manual, Depth and Rate - all of which are controlled by rotary knobs. You can also set the tempo of the effect via the footswitch .... As with all of the Boss compact pedals, the BF-3 is made to the usual high standards, using rugged die cast metal chassis. In fact Boss are so confident that their pedals are virtually indestructible, that they provide a 5 year warranty ... We certainly love a bit of Flange here at Nevada !! (Fnar Fnar) ... this pedal picks up where the classic BF-2 left off, offering both vintage and modern flanging sounds. The upgrade includes modern components that have enhanced the sonic capabilities of the pedal, reduced the noise and provided a wider stereo image ... All of this means that the Boss BF-3 is a considerably better sounding Flange Pedal with a greater amount of control and variation of effect, on top of this it still has the Boss road-ready chassis and their 5 year warranty. It therefore makes perfect sense to consider upgrading your Flanger pedal to the new Boss BF-3 model
Hartman ***og Flanger - Clip / Demo [Boutique Electric Mistress Clone] This is a little clip I did of the Hartman ***og Flanger in my rig. This is a boutique Electric Mistress clone, with modern upgrades like: true bypass, 9V operation, flange/filter switch (like on the Deluxe Electric Mistress, which I had before this one), noise reduction and an overall better sound! Theo did an excellent job on this creation and he kept it very true to the original legendary tone. Besides that, the customer service of Hartman is one of the best I've EVER encountered! In this clip I used it how I use it in my rig. I'm not a huge fan of dry modulation, but I love to mix it with delays and/-or reverb. In this clip I used the Keeley C4 compressor, Deluxe Memory Man and a bit of Room Reverb from the G-System to fill up the sound the way I like it. The (Deluxe) Electric Mistress has always been THE perfect companion to the Deluxe Memory Man, it's like the two were made to combine. It's of course no surprise that the Hartman is just as fond of the DMM as the original EM and DEM were! I also used a custom made modulated reverb patch that I made with Ableton Live's Reverb. It doesn't get in the way and you won't hear it overpowering things, but if you really want to hear, you can hear it clearly in the last 5 seconds of the clip. (it was just mixed in lightly, 9%) Throughout the demo I also switched back and forth between finger picking and using a pick to demonstrate the difference in tone. Oh, and yes, the settings on the photo are the settings I used in this ...

Hartman ***og Flanger - Clips / Demo.02 [Boutique Electric Mistress Clone] This is the second clip I did for the Hartman ***og Flanger. See the first vid here: - - In the first part I used the Flanger with a Keeley C4 Compressor and the DMM + a little reverb of the G-System. - In the 2nd part I use the Keeley C4 Compressor with a little G-System reverb and I dial the Color knob 25% at a time to increase the color so you can hear the difference. I, personally, like to keep it low. - The 3rd bit is done with the Keeley C4 Compressor and the DMM, I used a little more Color here and turned the Depth up as well. - The 4rth and last part is used with the Keeley C4 Compressor and a little slapback delay from the Damage Controle Time. Regarding the Flanger, I used a little more Color and the Rate was up to 75% and the Depth at around 30% - just to showcase it can do a faux Leslie-type sound as well. - I should've showcased that it can do those yet-type flange sounds, but, personally, I never use flangers like that, so - I blatantly forgot. - - -Gear used for recording: - Shure SM57 - PreSonus FirePod - Ableton Live 6.01 Plugins: - Ableton Live Reverb (custom made modulated reverb) - Ableton Live Compressor (used for limiting, etc.) - PSP Vintage Warmer - PSP Master Compressor - - - Guitar: - Fender '93 ltd. EHX Flanger Hoax Feedback Loop Greetings! Please check out my new Myspace site when you get a chance. The project goes by the name "Mr. Dithers." thanks. This is a noise improv where I routed the Flanger Hoax effect out to the input and ran the blend out into a ModFactor and then into a mixer. The sound was sometimes processed with a little reverb, delay, and TC electronic FireworX.

ADA Flanger Sample Pt 1 ADA Flanger Sample Pt 1 The finest flanger ever made has been re-issuied and is SO much more than a flanger ! Chorus, Leslie, Vibrato, Pitch Shifter...robots, airplanes, beautiful sound scapes are all in this pedal ! This is normal sound samples, will do another video of explaining features and another one of wackier sounds ! The ADA Flanger is a second generation electronic flanger capable of producing a broad range of sound colorations, dramatically enhancing the effect of any amplified musical instrument, voice or percussive instrument. The term flanging refers to the technique of manually varying the speed of two tape recorders independently with the same program material, while mixing down in recording studios. The ADA Flanger electronically simulates varying speed in real time, during the performance. The capabilities of the ADA Flanger are numerous and astounding. Effects such as rotating speakers, chilling vibrato, jet sounds, resonance modification, intensified studio flanging and incredible filter matrices, to name a few, suggest that experimentation will certainly find the sound you have been looking for. When two identical signals separated by a short time delay are added together, reinforcements (peaks) and cancellations (notches) occur in the output level. The positions of the peaks and notches are mathematically related to the time delay as can be seen in the graph opposite. The example shows the comb filter that occurs at the output of the ADA Flanger at 1 ...

Ibanez Paul Gilbert Airplane Flanger with Gearmanndude Luther Drive and Les Paul Historic the AF2 Airplane Flanger by Ibanez, designed by Paul Gilbert. I threw in my Lutherdrive for some dirty tones. This pedal was tons of fun...gonna spend some time with it and find a use for it for sure! I used a Les Paul 59 RI, Dr Z MAZ 18, and a new Blackbird Pedalboard for the demo.
Flanger Arion SFL-1 Hi! I searched for some months the right flanger for my needs. I tried the Line 6 Liqua Flange (too complex), the Boss BF2 and the Ibanez FL9. The sound was good but I didn't like the metallic noise coming from them. I gave a chance to this Arion (known for the great chorus SCH-1) and it seems to be exactly what I was looking for! No metallic sound, no volume drop (the reason I didn't go for an Eletric Mistress + the place it takes), beautiful sound at low rate settings but also fast rate ones. It's a pity that it's made of plastic but perfection is not of this world ;) and for the price... Enjoy!

GNI Phaser Flanger - The GNI Phaser Flanger is the latest offering in modulation from GNI pedals. The GNI Phaser Flanger features two independent effects that can be run together or separately for creating sonic soundscapes you wouldnt believe. The phaser and flanger each have their own controls for Speed, Range, Resonance, and Mix. The Resonance control allows you to dial in part of the phase-shifted signal back into the effect creating more depth and resonance. The GNI Phaser Flanger features two switches that are specifically for the flanger, Osc and Mod. The Osc button stops the low frequency oscillator and lets you pick the set frequency of the effect using the range knob. The Mod button changes the way the wave is fed back into the effect creating a more vocal like effect, almost like a talk box. The GNI Phaser Flanger is hand made in Brazil using the highest quality components. -

Ibanez FL9 Flanger A quick demo of the Ibanez FL-9 Flanger reissue guitar effects pedal. A Flanger gets its signature sound by combining the original signal with a modulated, or delayed copy. Doing this creates distinct "whooshing" sounds as the waveforms interact with one another, where the "comb filter" effect starts to become apparent. For guitar, a flanger can be used to provide a bit of dimension, or to articulate harmonics. This is especially true when distortion is involved. This particular pedal has a very sweet and full sound to it, which is very unlike the Boss pedals that I've used before. I'm considering kicking the chorus pedal off of my board for this guy. Little. Yellow. Different.

T-Rex: The Twister Chorus and Flanger t-rex- From the T-Rex website... Shimmering, rich, vibrant, swirling. There are lots of ways to describe the chorus effect, made famous in the 80s and used today by just about every guitarist on the planet. A chorus brings your sound to life, adding a dynamic vibrancy to the sonic texture of any song you use it on. Now, T-Rex Engineering is proud to introduce our own take on this legendary effect The Twister, a chorus and flanger pedal for guitarists who demand nothing less than the best. Did you say chorus and flanger? We sure did. Although they sound quite different, these two classic effects are so closely related that a single pedal can produce them both. We could have taken the usual path and built two separate units, but we wanted to give you both great effects in a single box. While the chorus adds sparkle and shine to your sound, the flanger puts a funky twist on both chords and single-note lines. Give it a try, and discover how its the wild and weird effect youve been looking for. Designer tone just the way you want it! The Twister is packed with features that make sure you get chorus or flange your way. It has a mono output for running through an amp on stage, and stereo outputs for the studio or live stereo setups. In chorus mode, the light switch lets you quickly switch between two classic variants of the chorused sound, while the brilliant Tone control lets you take some of the top off for a more subtle effect. And rest assured: like every pedal T ...
