It is a series of YTMND's somehow revolving around the movie, but in particular, based on a YTMND entitled "300TMND: THIS IS SPARTAAAA!" that appeared 2007-02-15, created by the user NorthAmericanDangerDuo. The site features an edit of the scene from the first 300 trailer where King Leonidas holds the Persian messenger at sword-point at the ledge of a giant well. 300TMND was actually intended by the author to be a series of different 300-related YTMND's, not a fad based on the "THIS IS SPARTAAAA!" 300TMND. The site showed Grover, a character known from Sesame Street, brutally murdered due to being crushed in a door. The YTMND ends with a still of Grover dead fading to gray, with the text "Grover 1969-2007" appearing on the page, and "Floods" by Pantera playing softly in the background. Shortly after this hit the front page, Sark76 made several sites off the bat, including the most popular version "Tragedy at the bakery." Soon after, other users started to pick up on the fad and quickly started to make different Grover death sequences ranging from being trampled to starvation.

YTMND Fads - KOENTMND Fad KOENTMND is a fad based around the eccentric University of Texas professor Dr. Billy V. Koen. KOENTMND sites primarily focus on using sound clips taken from Dr. Koen's inspirational messages. Though the fad was started initially by many UT students, it has since grown in popularity to interest a wide range of YTMNDers. KOENTMND sites have been sponsored and have achieved high ratings, including some top viewed exposure. Users to this day continue to make KOENTMND sites and their popularity is ever growing. These Cuffs sites feature a clip from the American TV show Cops where a man, having been handcuffed, announces that he "can break these cuffs" and proceeds to attempt to pull his shackles apart. After the arresting officer assures him of the futility of his actions, he lets out an eccentric yell as a result of his efforts. These Cuffs sites generally feature a song with the sound clips mixed in, and some kind of animated image with the arrested man. officer Rosenthal with the Las Vegas Metro Police was in numerous COPS episodes on the Las Vegas strip and has left us with many memorable episodes. He is by far the best personality we have ever scene on COPS. There is another episode featuring Officer Rosenthal with the dwarf which is just as funny as the foot pursuit segment. History of Cuffs The first site I CAN BREAK THESE CUFFS, made by Nitros14, was actually made in May 2007 and featured a still image from the show with the now famous sound clip. YTMND Fads - Link Finds Fad SUBSCRIBE TODAY! The "Link Finds" fad is based off a scene from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time where Link opens a treasure chest to get the Kokiri Sword. Origin The first site was created by the user Ravager, and featured Link finding Milton Waddam's stapler. For about a month afterwards, spinoffs of the site were common, showing Link finding many items, including a Nintendo 64, ninjas, bicycles, and even the Spanish Inquisition. The fad has since slowed down, though it's not uncommon to see a new variation. Oftentimes, the newer variations will have tie-ins to newer fads. For example, a recent "Link Finds" site involved the Shoe on Head fad. Spawned Fad One of the sites called "Link finds a... what the hell is that?", would spawn a fad more than 1 year later called the WHAT THE F BOMB fad.
