VOLLEYBALL: Centennial District V Game Two Highlights Centennial defeated Severna Park for the District V title Nov. 4 at Annapolis High School, 25-22, 25-15, 25-21. Centennial also defeated Severna Park for the inaugural District V championship last year. In this montage of game two highlights, Liz Brown makes a nice dig and then gets the kill off of the Grace Chao assist to give the Eagles a 21-13 lead, then Jamie Fabling gets a kill after a Chao dig and an assist by hitter Cici White-Torreullas to go up 22-15. Next Sam Brostrom makes a nice falling dig and recovers in time to get the kill off of a Chao assist to go up 24-15. Finally, Brostrom makes a nice dig off of a hard hit ball by Severna Park's Erin Bell, setting up the Chao to Brown kill for game point.

John Fabling Memorial Service WWII Navy Veteran American Hero John Stanley Fabling, 85, 10/18/24 - 11/4/09 - Denver native, East High & CU Boulder graduate, CU football Living Legend, and WWII Navy Veteran. Accomplished businessman for Texaco, GE, Fabs Famous Foods and firestarters entrepreneur. John and Jackie celebrated their Golden Anniversary prior to Jackies passing 2/6/05. Survived by four children; J. Scott, Tyler, Judy, and Brad and 13 grandchildren. Consummate outdoorsman who loved his Rocky Mountains. Johns Christian faith and fellowships established the solid foundation of how he lived his life and cared for others. John was a true American hero. In this montage of game three highlights, Liz Brown tips the ball over the Severna Park block after a Sam Brostrom reception and Grace Chao assist to give the Eagles a 21-19 lead, then Katelyn Brehm assists sophomore Trisha Mockapetris after a Carly Simenauer dig to make the score 23-21. Next, Brostrom and Jamie Fabling team up to record a point block to set up match point, which is won by the Eagles after a Falcons hitting error.
