MACULAR DEGENERATION - HOMEOPATHY Age related macular degeneration is a medical condition, which usually affects older adults that results in a loss of vision in the center of the visual field (the macula) because of damage to the retina. The inner layer of the eye is the retina, which contains nerves that communicate sight; behind the retina is the choroid, which contains the blood supply to the macula (the central part of the retina). In the dry (nonexudative) form, cellular debris called drusen accumulate between the retina and the choroid, and the retina can become detached. In the wet (exudative) form, which is more severe, blood vessels grow up from the choroid behind the retina, and the retina can also become detached. For further details please visit our website.

Pyothorax (Pleural Empyema or Purulent Pleuritis) Pleural empyema (also known as a pyothorax or purulent pleuritis) is an accumulation of pus in the pleural cavity. Most pleural empyemas arise from an infection within the lung (pneumonia), often associated with parapneumonic effusions. There are three stages: exudative, fibrinopurulent and organizing. In the exudative stage, the pus accumulates. This is followed by the fibrinopurulent stage in which there is loculation of the pleural fluid (the creation of grapelike pus pockets). In the final organizing stage, scarring of the pleural space may lead to lung entrapment.

TV9 LADIES CLUB - TV9 LADIES CLUB - RETINAL DETACHMENT CAUSE,SYMPTONS,RECOVERY & TREATMENT Retinal detachment is a disorder of the eye in which the retina peels away from its underlying layer of support tissue. Initial detachment may be localized, but without rapid treatment the entire retina may detach, leading to vision loss and blindness. It is a medical emergency.[1] The retina is a thin layer of light sensitive tissue on the back wall of the eye. The optical system of the eye focuses light on the retina much like light is focused on the film in a camera. The retina translates that focused image into neural impulses and sends them to the brain via the optic nerve. Occasionally, posterior vitreous detachment, injury or trauma to the eye or head may cause a small tear in the retina. The tear allows vitreous fluid to seep through it under the retina, and peel it away like a bubble in wallpaper. Rhegmatogenous retinal detachment,Exudative, serous, or secondary retinal detachment ,Tractional retinal detachment,Types * Rhegmatogenous retinal detachment -- A rhegmatogenous retinal detachment occurs due to a break in the retina that allows fluid to pass from the vitreous space into the subretinal space between the sensory retina and the retinal pigment epithelium. Retinal breaks are divided into three types - holes, tears and dialyses. Holes form due to retinal atrophy especially within an area of lattice degeneration. Tears are due to vitreoretinal traction. Dialyses which are very peripheral and circumferential may be either tractional or atrophic, the atrophic ...

IOL-VIP - Intraocular Lens for Visually Impaired Pe This is a hugely exciting breakthrough that has the potential to offer hope of restoring some of the vision lost in conditions affecting the central macular region of the retina. The term IOL-VIP stands for intraocular lens for visually impaired people. Conditions for which the IOL-VIP may be effective are the following; * Dry age related macular degeneration * Stable, inactive or previously treated wet (exudative) age related macular degeneration * Myopic (short sighted) macular degeneration * Macular holes * Inherited macular diseases such as Best's & Stargardt's dystrophy The macula is the central area of the retina and as such is responsible for reading and detailed vision. Damage to the macula from any of the above sources can lead to devastating central visual loss limiting ordinary activities such as recognising faces, reading, coin recognition and driving. Traditionally magnifying 'low visual aids' have been dispensed in order to help patients to cope with this type of visual loss. Many people however find these 'low visual aids' cumbersome and sometimes ineffectual. Up until now there has been little or no provision for true vision enhancement in patients with these disorders. The IOL-Vip system has been developed by low vision specialists and eye surgeons in order to enhance macular function in patients with macular disease thus frequently allowing for an improvement of their central vision. In this procedure, two small lenses are inserted into the eye. Working ...

Pemphigus Vegetans Dr. Wendy Levinbook, MD discusses Pemphigus Vegetans. See more at PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT!!! Pemphigus Vegetans (PV) is a rare, variant form of pemphigus vulgaris. Clinically, patients develop vesicles, pustules, and bullae which rupture to form erosions with excessive granulation tissue and crusting. These may evolve into exudative, vegetating masses with pustules and fissures. Lesions tend to be located in the intertriginous areas, in the scalp, and on the face. Oral mucous membranes are almost always involved. On histopathologic exam, one finds hyperkeratosis, papillomatosis, and acanthosis in addition to suprabasilar clefts with acantholytic cells and eosinophils. There is also typically a dense inflammatory infiltrate in the dermis composed of eosinphils, lymphocytes, and occasionally neutrophils. Direct immunofluorescence of perilesional skin demonstrates intercellular IgG and occasionally C3. Indirect immunofluorescence is positive for circulating IgG in the majority of patients. The course is similar to that of pemphigus vulgaris. However, spontaneous remission is possible.

POREC: porous tube for localized irrigation (new exudative tube for gardening and agriculture) The undertaking POREC was founded by a team of businesspeople in Mataró in the course of many years thanks to the technological know-how about machinery in the innovative textile sector. Driven by sensitivity and knowledge of the environment, the promoters of this project saw the added value that their stitch material technology provided compared to the rest of the exudative irrigation systems that were present on the market at that moment. The company POREC Irrigation Systems, Ltd. was founded to go further in order to research and develop prototypes for irrigation systems. Our POROUS TUBE FOR EXUDATIVE IRRIGATION is the result of the most advanced textile technology, and is currently the most innovative and sustainable solution in the field of localized irrigation systems for gardening and agriculture. It is a porous band that can be used in the on the surface or underground (recommended), and contributes greatly to the saving of water and the energetic efficiency.

Wet age-related macular degeneration AMD Wet macular degeneration is the more severe type of AMD. Although it affects only 10 percent of those who have the condition, it accounts for 90 percent of the severe vision loss caused by macular degeneration. With this type, the membrane underlying the retina thickens, then breaks. The oxygen supply to the macula is disrupted and the body responds by growing new, abnormal blood vessels. These begin to grow through the breaks of the membrane behind the retina towards the macula, often raising the retina. To visualize this, imagine the roots of a tree growing and spreading until they actually uproot a sidewalk. Then imagine rainwater seeping up throughout the cracks. These abnormal blood vessels (the "roots) tend to be very fragile. They often grow, leak or bleed, causing scarring of the macula. This fluid is called exudate and wet AMD is sometimes called exudative macular degeneration. This damage to the macula results in rapid central vision loss. Once this vision is destroyed, it cannot be restored. There are several treatment options for wet AMD which can be very effective if applied early.

Serrapeptase for Athletes and Healing Sprains, torn Ligaments and Traumatic Injuries Serrapeptase has also proven invaluable in accelerating the healing process for sprained muscles, torn ligaments and other traumatic injuries, leg ulcers, edema as well as post-operative inflammation. Serrapeptase digests non-living tissue, blood clots, cysts, and arterial plaque and inflammation in all forms. Serrapeptase can be used to treat arterial blockage in coronary patients. Serrapeptase protects against stroke and is reportedly more effective and quicker than EDTA chelation treatments in removing arterial plaque. Serrapeptase dissolves blood clots and causes varicose veins to shrink or diminish. The mechanisms of action of serrapeptase, at the sites of various inflammatory processes consist fundamentally of a reduction of the exudative phenomena and an inhibition of the release of the inflammatory mediators. This peptidase induces fragmentation of fibrinose aggregates and reduces the viscosity of exudates, thus facilitating drainage of these products of the inflammatory response and thereby promoting the tissue repair process. Studies suggest that serrapeptase has a modulatory effect on specific acute phase proteins that are involved in the inflammatory process. http

Case of the month 1 2011 A 77 y old lady with cataract surgery 11 y ago showed with a visual loss from 0.9 to 0.4. Latanaprost because of glaucoma, clinically presumed macular edema. She was refered and very surprisingly in angiography no edema was seen. Question: why a clinical edema, but FA no edema? The aroused doctor wasn't happy with the retina and asked for OCT. An ERFP and a nearly full thickness hole were detected due to myopic staphylomatous enlargement of posterior sclera and traction, a retinoschisis in addition. Well edema, but no exudative one. Answer: traction & myopic retinoschisis! Vitrectomy and peeling resulted in a visual gain from 0.4 to 0.8; no latanaprost effect!

Anti wrinkles device Rugalift, used according to the instructions, can soften the face's wrinkles in a totally natural and non-invasive way. It stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin, human being's characteristics, through the principle of the exudative inflammatory reaction. The result obtained are permanent but they can also last months thanks to a suitable maintenance programme. The process is tested according to medical university studies. Rugalift is a beauty and not a medical device. All responsibilities are declined according to the unsuitable use of the device or the not-reading of all directions for the use and maintenance.
