Danse macabre for Enharmonic Pipe Organ, String Trio & Perc. by. HA Stamm Recording from a performance in Prayner Conservatory in Vienna on 17th December 2007. Soloviolin: Valbona Naku, Tablas: Bernhard Hacksteiner, Organ upper part: Hans-André Stamm, in presence of the international renowned japanese composer and pianist Yukie Nishimura, who was the central actress of the broadcast, which led her to different places in Germany and Austria in connection with Tanaka. The video (here a short extract) has been produced for a broadcast about the japanese musicologist Shoé Tanaka (who interested Bruckner for music in just intonation) for the japanese television. It has been broadcasted on BS ASAHI on 9.2.2008. The Enharmonic Pipe Organ of Hans-André Stamm (described on ) is currently placed on loan in the classroom of composer and composition teacher Ulf-Diether Soyka (www.soyka-musik.at) at Prayner (www.konservatorium-prayner.at) for microtonal research and new composition. Here the special keyboard is not used, but the two normal keyboards, which are tuned in two just C tonalities, the upper keyboard a quarter-tone lower, so that played with two hands, complex chord and interval changes are easily possible.

Enharmonic Notes & Enharmonic Chords (Music Theory) Enharmonic notes are simply notes that have more than one name. Just as you might be known by not only your given name, but also by your nickname, so notes can have more than one name. The same is true for chords -- they can be known by multiple names as well. For example, the Db major chord sounds exactly the same as the C# major chord, but looks different on printed music, and has two different names C# major and Db major. One of the good reasons to learn music theory is that it gives you insight into areas of music you might never think about.
